Call me crazy, but.... i dont have to let a jury decide my opinions on everything. Ultimately, he seems a bit of a sketchy guy, who we suspect has a temper regardless of this outcome, and gets into bad situations. If A friend of family member told me they were hanging with shady, I’d likely advise to make sure you are putting yourself in good situations. If more evidence comes out, I’d likely ramp that sentiment up, but I don’t need a jury to dictate that.

That it says she was exposed to what she believes was herpes and not that she contracted herpes reads like she did not get it.

Be honest- wipe her friends knee jerk IG post out of the story.... how does your opinion actually change?

If she’s being honest and the person very specifically focused on certain items he had previously asked for.... it wouldn’t be an outrageous jump for her to accuse him, or us to have suspicions as outsiders. That said, could be lying, or even if honest there’s an outside chance it was an associate acting unbeknownst to shady who just happened to know some of the big gifts.

My point clearly being that, generally speaking, today’s theme for many is “I’ve made up my mind, and will twist, or ignore as needed to support it”

Its weird to me that some of you are so incredibly eager to discount anyone against shady or point at a random robbery because it involves a woman and jewelry in the same state..... but someone getting a percentage of his income that doesn’t want his career to end is a source not to be questioned. Anything coming out today on either side is generally soap opera and short of video leaking will do little for us better understanding what happened

If shady is out, who is our weapon to stretch the defense? Who changes the equation and takes up an extra defender? We don’t even have 1 yet alone the 2-3 needed to succeed offensively. If (big if) shady doesn’t play a snap, it could get very ugly

Im not sure what he did or didn’t do out of the array of accusations but the mere existence of the press release doesn’t sway me much. I think you may be over analyzing on that front

How do we know either accounts at all reliable?

If they can tie him in any way to this his career is done and he’s facing jail time. Even if not convicted he may see suspension if the nfl finds enough suspicion

Once the friend goes public, both sides have some degree of compelling reason to address what’s out there.

No no no- let’s own that you are fighting arguments that don’t exist (and doing it on the regular). The first step to fixing the problem is acknowledging the problem.

Directed to me? I’m glad to respond if so... but it’s so far out in left field as a response to my stance that I’m not positive that you are responding to me.

Obviously there is an element of risk with anyone. Reasonable people use the bit they know (or in a GMs case the lots they know) to judge the degree and type of risk. Do you believe it’s completely impossible to gauge risk? That there’s absolutely no correlation between known past displays of poor judgment and possible future? I wouldn’t have predicted Edelman’s suspension, but mainly because the testing system is easy to beat. The dudes a partier, and had lots of injury issues to come back from. Whether or not he actually tested positive I would’ve been willing to bet at some point in the last year his system wasn’t clean for either recreational drugs or PEDs.
