Man, he’s a heckuva athlete but he is coming off as bricks dumb in this red carpet interview.... if he ends up the guy somehow I’ll hope for the best but it’ll be a worry.

Sony Michel’s knee “bone on bone”
NoSaint replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yup. If you can get 1 kamara-esque year out of him... day two pick and 4m total pay isn’t that scary... if you can get even just 2 of those, it’s an absolute steal. -
Call me crazy but if no trade ups... I wouldn’t mind two WRs by end of round 3 12-qb 22– wr/lb 2a—wr/lb 2b— rb 3a— ol 3b — wr/te... or trade for Bryant in Pittsburgh as a rough example of getting qb, 3 playmakers on offense and a project for the line without skipping mlb. we need guys that can make explosive plays on offense.

Flip side is on a 4 year 4m deal... if you get even 1 season out of him it’s good cash value and what’s the success rate of a day two pick? If he’s there late 2 early 3 I would rather take the risk on him potentially falling apart than a project coming together. Just manage expectations accordingly always feel bad for running backs. I know, only so bad for the kid getting multi millions here but jeeeze is it ever tough compared to their peers in the league at other spots. -

I hate to say it but as a mid round pick you aren’t looking at a ten year investment, you are beating the kid up for cheap for a couple years.... anything after that is a super bonus. If this allows him to play a rookie contract it wouldnt effect where i take him at all -
Baker Mayfield draft eve tweet - amazing

I suspect you would learn to love hating him quickly -
Interesting Take From QB Guru on Allen
NoSaint replied to Da webster guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Im not sure you speak for most. I think it’s a stretch to say even most here have watched a lot of his games to fully grasp the scheme he was in.... and this is a tiny sliver of the most obsessive fans. -
Its definitely a layered and nuanced discussion that my one liner does little justice for.... all you wrote can be true. Impulse control, delayed gratification etc... are major. Also there are those that are self sabotaging and others that don’t actually want to be football players that said, there are a variety of reasons besides addiction that a kid would potentially blow this chance.

The funny thing is, it would 100% happen naturally but no harm in them spearheading it

Wonderlic test scores of 2018 NFL Draft QBs leaked

I recall when VY was so untrusted withgame situations and reads that he couldn’t audible and was not allowed to call timeouts without permission from the sideline I’ll contend that TT has major pre snap issues too and was often untrusted by coaches -
Yea but for the first time in 20 years we’ve caught up to league trends. Chan and buddy would’ve been talking about the process 3 years from now....

A couple Bills Rumors from WGR sports talk Saturday

It would seem to be a pretty good mistake by the giants. Youd be giving the guy top 5 money at his position fully guaranteed. At what point do you just get a top vet in free agency or via trade of any lower pick. To pass on a package of 3 firsts would be terrible even if barkley is excellent -
Its simple math really

He’s 100% right

So maybe don’t tear down all the buildings the first morning if you can’t start rebuilding them by night? Or some other goofy cliche...
-
Best case scenario his mom didn’t prep him properly.... and if you read that 3 times and think it’s not worrisome i don’t know what to tell you. worst case is he’s either very low IQ, has a noteworthy learning disability (not insurmountable) or just didn’t care. i know you make up your mind and dig in til the bitter end no matter what comes out.... but this is a major red flag and a team needs to be able to answer why it happened and why it won’t happen in their system before taking him. Some might believe they have it, and others may not care... but any good GM needs to know both answers to pull that trigger. Sorry to call you a bad gm John.

Do you really think theres zero red flag with that score?

Would you use Shady as trade bait?

You think it’s his last year and they should limit his touches in the biggest moments and you are giving it some thought? For pick 32 you trip over yourself to sign the paper and fax it in twice just to be safe. -
Which is fine for some guys... but some truly seemed “we’re doing this 100% on our own” ragland might’ve been a guy they were too eager to turnover from the old regime as his contract was peanuts and talent better than most similarly priced guys.

Have You Ever Gotten Into A Fight Defending The Bills?

Most of my questions don’t even pertain to the fight. -

Decided not to go through with making another account? -
Whatever the driver - that 10 months from now we might have 100% flipped the roster is astonishing. Especially given the gm that led last offseason included hiring the new coach. Did McD tell pegs that his evaluation of the roster was so poor that he’d need 53 new faces in 2 offseasons? all that’s left on offense today are miller, mills, McCoy clay and O’Leary defense has Kyle, Hughes, zo, Shaq and Washington. Its possible not one makes 2019 I agree it’s silly to think it’s spite but it’s amazing to see how little survived

But in a very scheme specific role. He’s be great as a thumper under schwartz for instance but not so much sideline to sideline for us. for a blow off pick though - I’d take 3 years of him in goal line or “and short” packages and think he’d still be better than most league minimum backups in case of injury despite scheme challenges...
