Did I miss some sort of persecution?

He gets a lot of praise for his writing here, but I’ve noticed more than once that I walked away feeling that he pushed to engage on an emotional level but in turn left core issues of the topic untouched. Which given his flair for the dramatic, doesn’t seem shocking. I don’t have a great example at hand as it’s been a minute since I’ve read his stuff... just recall the last few feeling that way. Paired with not being a big fan of the guy personally - clicking his content just started falling off.

I feel like this thread has several saying I’d TG is in they are out.

I’m just teasing, honestly. Always a fan of starting with the classics instead of a new and somewhat outside the box. It’ll be delicious still. If you did ribs you would’ve had 17 other guys here chatting their techniques though. Keep the heat steady, seasoning simple and let the smoke do it’s work

At some level, because the numbers aren’t uniform, I’d ask how many times you seen him throw an out on a rope, or zip one into a tight window on a seam or.... this can be college, camps, not just his 50 some odd drop backs. You dont need to toss a ton of them but down 5 with 3 minutes left you have to take a risk and wing it in some tight windows and he really hasn’t shown enough zip yet.

Mostly fair. But not all of us have a Weeman’s option- so that may skew your opinion! Compared to my local groceries there’s a noticeable jump in quality essentially across the board. still not where I do the majority of my shopping but I do pop in with some regularity. As others mention- sometimes cheaper for certain items, and often have selection I can’t get elsewhere How do you reconcile the second and third sentences? Did you go wander the aisles without intent to purchase while on vacation?!?

Nothing wrong with liking him as a possible long shot- it’s the guys that jump straight to thinking day 3 QBs will probably work out that might benefit from a deep breathe. its fun to watch a project. It sucks to obsess about one.

To suck year 1, and likely most following years. But imagine if we didn’t throw at all- odds are he could really clean up the interception issue

You said it doesn’t make him look good. What does it look like though? I don’t think it looks all that bad when you actually think about it. Other than potentially support his family, there’s really not much to contribute by going back. His house is a crime scene, all he can do is share who he left in charge.... id consider staying out of the way too unless someone needed me there.

If he wasn’t there I’m not sure what his presence after the fact adds. What do you think it makes look like happened?

I’m not miserable at all - I’m just not celebrating the dude for being friendly, and not accidentally calling the city Pittsburgh in his tweet. hes a qb drafted in the top 10. He obviously has a decent chance to be an icon in the city. They all do and like 99% try to embrace it.

Throw out #mafia for the other pro sports team and mention wings, and you “really get buffalo?” what if he wraps his truck and plants some trees downtown ala Rex losman? I don’t know that this tweet is anything beyond entry level checking the box of being aware of buffalo
