  1. Typically they don’t? Do tell, what kind of split is there on that? I disagree always. Just don’t spend the money and roll it over. But if an opportunity or need arises at least you have the flexibility.
  2. You are a monster
  3. Does the muslim brotherhood have a large Jewish contingent?
  4. Im not sure the CBs ahead of him on the depth chart either. Even in denim he might outplay them.
  5. I don’t even know Levi really but when you say it like that...
  6. To be fair, he’s won a lot of games lately but he wasn’t that good when coaching the dolphins. or were you talking about that long haired hippy fellow? Its tricky to tell with you when you start with the biblical references.
  7. Again, the difference between “proof of” and “raises questions about” do you really not see the difference between such phrases?
  8. Right, but if ones not totally emotionally invested in the guy, those poor decisions might raise questions about his character. One might refer to such a situation as a guy having questionable character even. No ones piling on the guy at this point.
  9. If we are trying to find guys on rookie contracts, and particularly day 3 ones that are starting based on skill, not need — the writer was pretty fair. Milano could be a candidate though. Hardly blasting the bills or anything though. Poyer is a good honorable mention. I’d skip Hyde as we paid him pretty well.
  10. Soooooo.... for the most part not really true. And definitely not the place to make that point.
  11. We really don’t know. The assumption is that it’s a continuation of his long term mental health issues with drugs possibly being layered in.... But that’s just a guess based on available context. He’s long had troubles though and this isn’t his first time being committed.
  12. Until he or those close decide to disclose info, we know what we will know. It seems he’s not ready to talk yet and friends/family are seemingly onboard. Or we likely would’ve heard something in the last month
  13. Ive always been on the fence with just how much it effected him. for instance, if he’s working on his speed and explosion - doesn’t that translate to WR skills? Or you mentioned his hands- were they ever a problem?
  14. This got you riled up enough to both comment on celebrityinsider.com and start a thread?
  15. What about that time you got beat up?
  16. Let’s not pretend I’m calling you out there for not knowing him. I’m calling you out for playing games about it instead of just being straight with your answer. Saying there are a lot of variables was silly. Without looking I’m guessing I couldn’t tell you much about 28 of last years 7th rounders. I happen to know a bit about this one based on my proximity to LSU and by proxy LSU fans. To double down with your super fan dig is completely ridiculous. In the thread I used the term, it was sticking up for a guy that obviously didn’t come to talk bills football 365 days a year like us so I pointed out we pretty much all consume more bills/draft news than 99% of bills fans. You included. Ill let this go though, and we can continue via PM if needed. No need to further derail with us quibbling now that we are far beyond the player in question.
  17. To be fair, most of my “know it all” attitude was about your conduct and not Dupree. And I was actually right. Chandler gave a very accurate scouting report on the guy. He comes with warts but is talented enough that if he really commits to the game he could be a player down the line. He runs sloppy routes, doesn’t get in and out of breaks well, gets jammed up at the line and doesn’t snag the ball with his hands as well as some... but is a physical specimen. Big, fast. He will have to also become a technician of the game though and has had motivation issues. Most of those warts I listed are correctable but again, will hinge on his dedication. There’s a reason that obj went top half of the first round, Jarvis second round, and Dupree was a 7th rounder that was cut and then sat on a practice squad despite being an elite recruit out of high school. It’s not just scheme, or qb or.... its his play being inconsistent. I’m not claiming to know where he will go but I don’t think sharing where he’s been is being a know it all. Again, it’s ok to say you simply aren’t familiar and seek out video, opinions, etc... before reaching an opinion based on a YouTube fan video, or playing coy with “there are lots of variables” when asked your take on why he fell. Just say you aren’t familiar with him.
  18. Clearly the dad-bod is the superficial attraction in those relationships
  19. I think everyone would’ve moved on if you weren’t insistent on continually and directly calling out what is a perfectly reasonable stance. If you want to crack crack open a beer to celebrate the article, you do you.
  20. Again, they could be 110% truthful. Neither of us has said they are lying. Simply that they were tossed a softball question and you’d get damn near the same answer if you subbed in any of the other 31 owners names (or terry’s). If she starts to grow into leadership roles, or they start to go out of their way to reference specific accomplishments it’ll carry a bunch of weight. But essentially “what do you think of the new business partner” “oh she’s great, brings energy and a fresh perspective” is a bit of a throwaway exchange. Your best friend asking you what you think of his new girlfriend in front of her is about on par. Everyone stays positive, so a vague and assuring “she’s great, it’s been a fun night” doesn’t really have any noteworthy meaning. But if you go way off script and say “oh she seems awful... stupid, and ugly... and I’m pretty sure she slipped her number to the bartender” well, that’s something to dig down on.
  21. I would feel that’s significant. Because it cuts totally across the norms and goes against what they are incentived to say. this is akin to the wife asking “does this make me look fat?” if you answer of “course not, you look great” that could be totally true, or avoiding drama. If you say “yea that looks terrible” it probably means she looks bad. Unless you are know to like to sleep on the couch. its not that hard a conversation to follow. We aren’t knocking her or trying to discredit her, we are just saying it doesn’t say much. Do you really never weigh the persons motivations/incentives/consequences at all in evaluating whether what they say is meaningful?
  22. Because I don’t rate credibility based on if I agree with the statement or if it makes me feel good? again, she could be doing GREAT, but when you ask someone that’s going to say she’s doing great no matter what’s happening then the article isn’t impactful
  23. You could just say I was right. It’s ok to concede you don’t really know the guy instead of some silliness about there being a lot of variables. He came with warts, and someone familiar was giving you good feedback on who he is as a player. It was a good opportunity to learn about him instead of cheerleading
  24. Is too many variables code for “I only watched a highlight video and only argue the positives for most players”? All the things chandler are pointing out are consistent knocks. He’s not a great route runner or technician which limits him. He double clutches or body catches a lot of balls. He could develop- no one is saying he can’t- but it’s a big task he’s likely not a big contributor in the short term even if he’s suddenly become passionate about his craft
