  1. Yup. That one may be a highlight that’s rare in part because only some can do it, but also because you’ve got to be smarter than doing it unless it’s late in a playoff game. That’s not to knock him too hard. No harm no foul and that’s what you hope for in the “learning moments.” Low cost, and occasional reward even.
  2. Play calling is important but I’m positive Frazier did a ton this week that contributed to the performance
  3. Sne married buffalorush, I’m guessing she’s used to being disappointed in New and spectacular ways
  4. It’s a tough crossroad in his career to deal with a season ender. Would’ve been huge to have a full season of development as a starter under his belt.
  5. Yup. It’ll be a wildly inconsistent season but hopefully he learns what he can and can’t do at this level. Some weeks we will love him and others he will drive us mad. Just got to keep trending the right direction over the long haul.
  6. Well, it seems you see some bills gear.
  7. You should definitely continue to take pictures of people and post them online telling us how weird they are
  8. He would have had to go incredibly far out of his way with giving leverage to a fringe player to not allow us to collect.
  9. Yes, but what’s nice is his arm gives him a chance to do that. In fact, it means he doesn’t even have to do it as well as those with marginal arm talent.
  10. John, how can you call anyone out like that and then follow it up with your own glowingly positive review? Surely you see the irony? Theres always going to be a “breakthrough thermometer to hide the fever” aspect to a fan board. Hopefully said fever is curable and not deadly for allen. He has shown a few flashes of both the best and worst. We just need to see the ratio keep improving.
  11. The cba restricts what players can be punished for. This is a slightly ambiguous instance of whether or not a player can be punished.
  12. Monday you might look back and romanticize what it was like to have that 5k. 17 is a huge spread, and dumb luck. Even if they get up 30, we won’t take our foot off the gas with a rookie qb but they might coast into the finish
  13. He’s the next Fitz. Will bounce around as a starter you always try to replace but among the top 32 QBs
  14. Its boom or bust at this point. It’s akin to josh McDaniel. If the QBs good and they hit in free agency/draft next year - awesome. Otherwise you just gutted a team in way that’s actually pretty rare.
  15. Both he and his brother have made absolute fortunes. Maybe he ends up broke, maybe he ends up fine and able to walk when he’s 50. i don’t like how he handled this but in the grand scheme, such is life
  16. Yes, they were outlining previous offseason transgressions/punishment
  17. The hotel creates a setting where you can control Saturday night dinner and meetings, a curfew, Sunday morning meetings and food. Coordinated transportation. It’s standard issue. I’d suggest asking to learn more before raging.
  18. I mean, it’s 6 weeks later and injury settlements are standard issue for guys that are hurt that you want to move. Are you trying to imply something?
  19. Im nervous about confusing half time for hot take
  20. In february- did he know that? If sold on us getting a vet and rookie qb, and spending on a couple free agents plus a boat load of picks... i don’t think a single poster or bills employee expect this offseason or start back in January. It’s strange to me that somehow much of the offseason I felt among the most negative for thinking we were a below 500 team and now so many people are pulling the “well yea obviously this was going to be a train wreck but that’s by design and there was no other choice” card
  21. Plenty of intelligent and well intentioned people have plans that they don’t do particularly well following. Especially when you get a lot of voices in the room.
  22. Science says they are roughly equal
  23. But it’s all good - it’s been months since we’ve seen a starter held on a psych evaluation (as Ritchie’s August incident was off the team) i think its ok to acknowledge that the last 6 months have been a particularly impressive train wreck
  24. I mean we only gave up like 80 points in the first 90 minutes of the season and only one starter retired mid game. We’ve also only benched 1 qb, and half of our coordinators still have playcalling duties. Clearly everything’s normal at the moment. conpared to the offseason, this is downright tame stuff.
