Well, they did have options and made questionable choices. all things equal, it’ll probably be pretty unreasonable around here next Monday no matter what so here’s to hoping it’s the crazy peterman fanatics celebrating

Life is a complicated and sometimes ugly thing. Childhood sexual abuse can literally have major effects on how someone’s brain forms. It doesn’t excuse murder by any means but it could certainly fill in the confusion many had to the “why?” an nfl player with the world at his fingertips ran off the rails. Damage to the developing brain, plus terrible social structures creates an easy path into self medication... pair it all up with heavy doses of enabling and suddenly a 6’6 beast with poor brain regulation and a drug habit is surrounded with people chirping bad ideas in his ear and no accountability... anywhere along the way he could’ve stepped out of the cycle and he has to own his outcomes.... but things like finding out about abuse as a child certainly helps fill in some of the gaps of how thestory came together feel bad for the child, hold the man accountable and support the many victims left in his wake to help avoid future rounds of similar stories starting to be written

I might be crazy but I feel some compassion towards the kid living through physical and sexual abuse even if I don’t think that lets the adult off the hook for the murders.

Imma sleep on coming up with terms, but be prepared for a completely arbitrary challenge to your existence on this board tomorrow. If you refuse I’ll mock you for being scared but if you accept it’ll be a totally ludicrous standard and a super easy to fudge process to boot.

I think you’ve got to really buy in to them to give them 2019. If they screw free agency/draft up in our big rebound year it’s really going to hurt. Especially in a make or break year for our qb. I think too too many are quick to say “meh let’s see what happens” and not treat it like a major decision to stay the course

Unfortunately I’m pretty skeptical of everything associated with his development at the moment. heck, bring in Palmer. Anything to help him with mechanics and film.

It cuts both ways. We have a handful that are incredibly eager to knock down anyone that’s skeptical. I’ve figured this a 6-ish win roster since May and have generally felt like a Debbie downer for it, and caught a few comments. this is a bad roster. It could have been a good roster. But we may come out ahead at some point Not doing what you should strikes me as a talent issue

Maximum bills-y outcome would also include Rosen working out.

That he couldn’t be the last guy on the bench for us and play in short yardage packages still surprises me

The type of dumb play brady doesn’t make often. Swinging that ball out there in a crowd is not his style

We chose to blow the team up this year in a way that certainly wasn’t required. Last year easily could’ve been an offensive coach, literally any free agent Wr. I’ve been quietly saying to get a day 2 back in the draft for 2 years (so hunt or kamara paired with mccoy wouldn’t be crazy). I won’t pretend I was a mahomes guy but last year was a much better year for us to take a project (heck he might not even work long term why wait and then take a different major project) sub kerley/Coleman/benjamin for 1 good wr just keep dareus and spend stars money on an offensive lineman we made many choices to create the team in this image and push success into the 4th year at this rate

If only we had such a clean slate last year to get a coach and offensive talent and a decent qb he could have sat behind if our pick was high enough to take him

Im legitimately on the fence. We knew this had potential to be a historically bad unit. So it’s a matter of is he making them as good or better than the talent level.... I don’t know. There’s so little talent in the passing game. I wish they would’ve built the offense first knowing a young qb was in the early plans.
