In Boston...wearing Bills gear...getting heckled...BUT...
NoSaint replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hate the pats so much that for summer vacation I’m just going to go argue with their fans and visit their empty stadium! -
Yes. If arm strength or reading a defense are issues especially. Fitz as an example would break down trying to go deep or zip in an intermediate. But that weaker armed guy might have good touch in the short game with screens, swings, slants and crossing patterns underneath. granted, if he can’t hit deep balls those windows close quick underneath and it gets tough.

Whats her actual reasoning? I don’t smoke but think we should fully legalize, and other than Pharma money most of the arguments against legalizing that I’ve come across when really boiled down to their core seem to either amount to either that the person doesn’t understand the actual science, or that they believe their own morals are so superior that they should be able to dictate to everyone. It’s rare that I come across a nuanced and fact based reasoning- but it seems manybe your wife is among those?

Was his argument referring to dealers or doctors?!?

When we were down by about 30 late in the saints game and on third and Long he refused to take a shot... well... I knew he wasn’t likely the answer before that but it really was a “we 100% know now” moment. At some point you have to let the ball go downfield, even if a risk. He didn’t seem to get the added layer of being protective is fine but you need situational awareness

We have plenty of 4-7 guys, but not enough 1-3 -

If allen is ready to play you don’t need 3 QBs potentially. Or you could hold peterman and cut him to activate streater later, as someone mentioned. -
I wouldn’t be shocked to find out he was not quite as together as we thought. It’s possible he simply didn’t have a full breakdown but was teetering at times. losing both football and his dad... he’s at a crossroad here. Very little would surprise me at this point. Hopefully he dives into getting help instead of ending up in jail long term or worse...

Peter King / PFF on "ball placement" (Josh Allen related)
NoSaint replied to Buffalo86's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That 3 would make up last years top 5 should be a pretty big red flag for the stat having some unaccounted factor. Unless you really love these rookies. -
It should be it. If not, I’d be surprised

Sean McDermott is the most annoying kind of person.

And the less chance of essentially naming a starter then having an injury and having to settle for the backup -
Hes like the 20th paid 43DE.... that’s low end starter money. Not a boat load.

Can Murphy be Allen's Thurman Thomas?
NoSaint replied to nikuman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Still likely another step back from that probably. Murphy is likely just another guy, 3rd string running back that doing decent in the preseason. Our own jonathan Williams is getting some hype in nola right now for instance, among about 20 others league wide. He’s a decent guy to have but not the type you scour 30 years of roster to find a comp point. -
Can Murphy be Allen's Thurman Thomas?

By same role but less yardage do you mean actually a backup that will produce somewhere between 3-5% of TTs average annual yardage? Because if you mean “totally different role and almost no yardage” I can say I’m also all in with this option -
Can Murphy be Allen's Thurman Thomas?

Murphy is not a player of note. Shady is his Thurman Thomas if wanting to force the analogy -
Plus half the time they dint actually understand and properly communicate the rule

Advice Needed re: Managerial Dilemma at Work
NoSaint replied to Fadingpain's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Yup.... though if you were in that moment at work, it’s not impossible you’d space out and forget the IM is blocked. Im not saying it’s no big deal but if usually a stellar employee and it was a catastrophically embarrassing moment paired with an ineffective way to communicate- way different than coasting out cause my tummy doesn’t feel good and not telling anybody cause I don’t really care. One I’d try to grant some grace and the other would get a pretty quick pink slip -
Advice Needed re: Managerial Dilemma at Work

Agreed. Unless she’s legit had an accident in her pants, she needs to communicate in person and direct there. Her pride in front of him can’t be prioritized over his ability to do his job in front of dozens of key people i will admit that if she’s almost 100% on that every other day I’d consider some slack/empathy but if it’s a semi regular occurrence then my patience would be gone -
Deadspin had an article a few years back about a dude that applied for press passes to braves games. Just made up a newspaper name. He was consistently approved for full access for a couple years and hung out in the club house. There have been a few remarkable stories about guys that dressed out and sat at the end of the bench at basketball games etc... but post 9/11 it’s probably a lot more likely to catch you a felony than it would’ve 20+ years ago

Cardale starting tonight for Chargers

I was more pro-Rosen of the two. I didn’t see the cards game but would react by saying that how a first preseason game goes isn’t worth much reaction. It felt like he was already a huge long shot and that the guy that couldn’t stay out of fights when visiting HS football games back home probably needed to be out of buffalo to have his best shot (still an incredible long shot)
