It means a little something but most can’t grasp that whether or not we throw a 50 yard TD - it’s did the qb have good mechanics, make the right read on time, did the ball have enough zip in Nate’s case etc.... while too many jump straight to the stat line

We had a receiver run around naked and bloody, INCOGNITO (just generally the whole offseason), the woods retirement debacle, our rookie qb Twitter, the mccoy saga, traded for and cut Coleman like 10 days apart, poyers family stuff.... at some level I think we are numb to drama this year and it all blurs together. For such a straight laced coach it’s really been something.

The good ones would be pretty billsy— fans would declare a qb controversy despite knowing full well the truth.... Jets would draft the guy we want in May... it’d be fitting.

Once you say “in decades” you can likely say “ever” for most measurables. Training, nutrition, and the science of player development are all just another level. to this question- I’d say arguably yes. Depending on the qualifiers I’d say he probably rates in the top handful for just about any test (just straight radar gun fast ball or sheer distance), but if it’s got an accuracy qualifier (fastest throw to reliably hit a 40 yard tight target) might get interesting.
