    It’s less than 2 years salary guaranteed. I know we haven’t paid a WR market rate lately so the numbers seem huge and scary but I’d rather do it for 3 years of brown than a much larger number for a guy that hasn’t been a proven #1. As as long as healthy, the guys not getting the paycheck if he doesn’t show

    I very much hoped they didn’t think they were going to win by being cheap with choir boys. You need star players and you need to take some chances.

    And even with that known quantity excellent vet you need that day two of the draft “reliably good and could be great” type of prospect. We are trying to fix one of the worst WR groups in recent memory and it’s going to take a lot (Plus talent at TE)

    Im not so much advocating for him. But you need to at least have an alternate plan to move the ball that more efficiently allocated the resources.

    I also think kromer is some sort of voodoo witch doctor of oline play. He gets more from less than any position coach I’ve followed and grabbing his guys worries me a bit as I’ve seen a few take big steps backwards without him

    Which makes sense as lack of padded practice makes it a tough curve for young lineman

    Also not realizing that being on the stage doesn’t mean you are necessarily the show. His job in these drills is to facilitate.

    Picture a guy like dareus. Handed him big bucks before the window. Traded. Created big dead money that impeded spending.

    I enjoy football and go to most/all saints home games any given season because of the fun of the event. Clearly it’s more fun when they win and there are players I enjoy. I still rocked Zubaz when the bills came to town. Does that bother you?

    I’d be nervous about anyone that experienced a major jump under Kromer. The dude has voodoo magic with coaching guys up. Especially guards.

    I’d be disappointed if he’s top 2 on the depth chart, I’d be shocked if he’s 7th or lower though.

    To be fair it’s not thaaaaat huge of a trench to reconcile him being both mediocre and potentially more complete than the rest of our depth chart Portraying that it may take him 7 more years to catch up as a defense to him not being on the same level is an interesting take. If anything I think you underscored that he’s undoubtedly not there yet.

    You see, docs arguing that he will face harsh punishment and no punishment all at once.... you know, based on precedent of what people were forced to volunteer to do in marginally related situations
