  1. I I feel like we have a lot of folks that haven’t watched but 1-2 rams games making big claims here
  2. It’s almost like the rams shouldn’t be here ?
  3. Yea. No pressure all season...
  4. You have to included his post season stats too- which I think help his cause. I’d be hard pressed to think of one I’d pick before him. He’s a monster in nearly anything you’d ask of a TE
  5. Staying put and drafting someone else would’ve had the same issues. Like it or not, mahomes will always be associated with us. Who knows what would’ve happened here. Heck, who knows if he comes back to earth over the next few years.... but there will always be an association there. We needed a qb badly and didn’t take him. Doubling down on it. Bold strategy, cotton.
  6. Agreed. He also gets to take any interesting insights they give while beating them up. Essentially he gets to absorb all their new ideas and turn them into robots.
  7. What I’m saying is I don’t care about the case with that comment about the phone and that especially as a celeb I’d probably be hesitant to hand anyone my phone. Especially when even if he was really attacked it does next to nothing in assisting the officers. If he was claiming to have any type of documentation of who the perpetrator was and refusing to turn THAT over in a controlled manner I’d probably agree with you but if I’m him I’m probably not tossing the officers my phone to check my call log and whatever else. My point is global, not case specific. People jump for clues that someone’s acting guilty and I think this very specific behavior is overblown. It could be hiding a lie.... or an embarrassing anything that he doesn’t want leaked, or just a general distrust of police - and yes, to him these are just random officers. Of the dozens of things to look at with raised brow, this barely registers for me.
  8. Clearly this could be Friday night if they had any desire to move the game
  9. And for the guy making the allegations what are they but random officers? Y’all really hung on that word.
  10. That a celeb isn’t trying to hand over his phone to random officers is abiut the only part that made sense (and yea, I get the Brady joke but I’ve seen similar many places)
  11. Your brother is lying to you. And at least that was a close call.
  12. He could be doing that job very well and still be a poor value. In fact, the cap space vs performance for that roster spot is probably one of a handful of spots that could be argued as really hurting us (Starr/dareus, Benjamin, clay, shady combining for very little play making for the percentage of cap taken up)
  13. The point, it flew right by you. sure. A general aaf thread works.
  14. Maybe start with a thread for a game before jumping to a forum
  15. Honestly, was the third down incompletion to ginn the drive prior self inflicted? Or was it another PI no call? On the OT interception could you have called either roughing the passer or PI for holding Thomas? the saints didn’t play a perfect game but they should’ve beat what’s the second best team in the conference for the second time in a season if the refs decided to call ANYTHING down the stretch. The one play is just getting a ton of attention because none of the usual ways to excuse the human element really work beyond “he decided that wasn’t a rule down the stretch”
  16. I was in the dome 100 yards away and it was obvious. They had multiple guys right there. even if uncatchable it was still helmet to helmet- but they’ve never alleged it uncatchable. i don’t think a conspiracy but I do think that they decided they sure weren’t throwing a flag no matter what there. That one of the refs on the spot has history with issues with the saints and Sean Payton might have factored a tiny bit too. i did enjoy that it seems clear the coach wore a Goodell is a clown shirt to a press conference today (under a sweatshirt but peaking out enough to be identified)
  17. I suppose it’s also an interesting term to define. Do you, I, Buffalo rumblings and bill all define pressures the same?
  18. Ultimately you win throwing the ball or effecting the passer. It’s got to either be a weapon for Allen or someone that is going to rush the passer. as offensive lineman are slower to develop with limited contact in practice - give me vets to protect and snag a receiver or pass rusher top 10
  19. Do they win because of stability or do the major guys not get fired because they are good at their jobs? Also, an odd demarcation to use finish and start instead of start consecutive. A solid back door from peterman.
  20. It feels like common sense to both protect your product but also your people. It doesn’t feel fair to the ref to have to worry about a blown call being questioned in that way. I dont think its it’s anything more nefarious than “we aren’t throwing a flag that decides the game” but it’s easy to create questions because they didn’t flip the assignments for the two units
  21. I am, at least academically, interested in what special circumstances would require utilizing the rule given that it’s on the books that a game can be restarted at the point of a call. Like does cash have to exchange hands publicly?
  22. I don’t disagree. But unless both crews have former rams on them it seems easy to just swap their flights and switch the assignments. can you imagine this board if we host the AFCCG and lose on a call like that with 4 dudes from Boston and teddy bruschi is on the crew?!?
  23. Or they can happen in a blowout and be totally insignificant. It’s all about timing in such a rare play.
