  1. Unfortunately is it better if he gets that but decided not to do it til year 3?
  2. He’s a guy I’d worry about giving up picks AND guaranteed dollars for
  3. This thread didn’t work out the way you expected, eh?
  4. If the bills go from one of the worst WR groups in recent memory to it being a strength due to a UDFA that they cut midseason and a CFL signing.... beane sold his soul to the devil.
  5. I’d be nervous about anyone that experienced a major jump under Kromer. The dude has voodoo magic with coaching guys up. Especially guards.
  6. I’d be disappointed if he’s top 2 on the depth chart, I’d be shocked if he’s 7th or lower though.
  7. To be fair it’s not thaaaaat huge of a trench to reconcile him being both mediocre and potentially more complete than the rest of our depth chart Portraying that it may take him 7 more years to catch up as a defense to him not being on the same level is an interesting take. If anything I think you underscored that he’s undoubtedly not there yet.
  8. You see, docs arguing that he will face harsh punishment and no punishment all at once.... you know, based on precedent of what people were forced to volunteer to do in marginally related situations
  9. You didn’t know they are the same person?
  10. Yup. Positional needs also change so quickly. 2 years ago you would’ve gotten a funny look about drafting an interior lineman in round 2 and now look at us.tgis year we were desperate for them all year. 3 years from now do you want an elite pass rusher in the system even though we have a decent line now and he may take a year to reach potential or to have reached for a good tight end that can contribute more snaps quicker?
  11. Do you wonder a little why we so aggressively shed salary now?
  12. It also means they aren’t cutting guys early, and often when they acquire talent it’s a trade or someone another team released.
  13. To be fair, there’s a good chance they weren’t there specifically for tre. After the fact it’s easy to create a storyline I feel like stuff like this isn’t near as insightful as he portrays
  14. I’d guess all GMs could peg 30+ out of 32 picks dead on with just a little variation on the exact dollar values between rounds or the edge of who qualifies. heck, there are websites that hit on roughly that accuracy The net number of qualifying players is the first threshold. We signed too many to be eligible for being awarded How many were cut by their previous team? Or did they trade for? Anyone that wasn’t an expiring contract for their previous team doesn’t count. Yup. Using AAV there have been sites hitting near 100% accuracy using the same the AAV method you described with an estimated escalator based on roughly where the estimated cut was the year prior before the free agents ever play a down on the new team
  15. However you can keep not trying to understand the rules in order to pretend it’s unfair
  16. As long as he’s looking touchdowns first is rather spend on that read. As he picks up the underneath spend there. I recall many a thread with myself included saying clay would be the key to Tyrod throwing inside the hashes. Get weapons for what what guys do well and lean on naturally and let the rest be serviceable
  17. Define very good or better? Are you talking like top 10 or simply guys that should be starters?
  18. Think Peterson isn’t covering Kelce for a reason? Like maybe the DC is more worried about shutting down Tyreek (Sammy, Conley) with their best pass defenders and kelce is exceptionally valuable because he’s afforded the 4th best defender and limited double teams as more of a really good role player instead of elite game breaker on his own?
  19. The benchmarks simply better than his behavior? If going to be crass at least be funny, right? Otherwise it’s just cringey
  20. 4th may be an exaggeration for the most elite but still they really aren’t THE guy. Some stats below, and I’ll chime I’ve seen similar from jimmy graham during his saints franchise tag dispute. There’s a reason they are paid as role players and not like WRs or CBs and franchise guys. Great tight ends get ok WR money. Why they aren’t too 5 draft picks. So on and so forth. GRONK VS. 21. Tasteless, even with a strong distaste for the guy
  22. Most aren’t inaccurate even in hindsight. There are definitely some inflammatory attention seekers but most real ones were fair.
  23. Paytoilets has to be one of the worst insults around
  24. James 40: 4.83 Chandler 4.78 James 20 yard shuttle- 4.5 chandler 4.32 similar catch rates with chandler having a lesser qb and fewer weapons around him. Chandler did miss 3 games as a bill... Im not sure they are that wrong, no?
