  1. However you can keep not trying to understand the rules in order to pretend it’s unfair
  2. As long as he’s looking touchdowns first is rather spend on that read. As he picks up the underneath spend there. I recall many a thread with myself included saying clay would be the key to Tyrod throwing inside the hashes. Get weapons for what what guys do well and lean on naturally and let the rest be serviceable
  3. Define very good or better? Are you talking like top 10 or simply guys that should be starters?
  4. Think Peterson isn’t covering Kelce for a reason? Like maybe the DC is more worried about shutting down Tyreek (Sammy, Conley) with their best pass defenders and kelce is exceptionally valuable because he’s afforded the 4th best defender and limited double teams as more of a really good role player instead of elite game breaker on his own?
  5. The benchmarks simply better than his behavior? If going to be crass at least be funny, right? Otherwise it’s just cringey
  6. 4th may be an exaggeration for the most elite but still they really aren’t THE guy. Some stats below, and I’ll chime I’ve seen similar from jimmy graham during his saints franchise tag dispute. There’s a reason they are paid as role players and not like WRs or CBs and franchise guys. Great tight ends get ok WR money. Why they aren’t too 5 draft picks. So on and so forth. GRONK VS. 7. Tasteless, even with a strong distaste for the guy
  8. Most aren’t inaccurate even in hindsight. There are definitely some inflammatory attention seekers but most real ones were fair.
  9. Paytoilets has to be one of the worst insults around
  10. James 40: 4.83 Chandler 4.78 James 20 yard shuttle- 4.5 chandler 4.32 similar catch rates with chandler having a lesser qb and fewer weapons around him. Chandler did miss 3 games as a bill... Im not sure they are that wrong, no?
  11. I’d argue all those tight ends would be handled easily by a good CB1, but a tight end rarely deserves that attention compared to a WR so they get the 3-5th best pass defender on them. If you get a 10m a year WR as the 4th option you’ll probably do pretty darn well matching up to
  12. Because most posters here are incredibly paranoid about getting near the cap and in reality it’s not typically as crippling as they think. more importantly though... do you keep a spreadsheet of predictions or something?!? Why would you ever remember that?!?
  13. That body has not been taken care of
  14. To be fair, he’s likely past his peak
  15. Payroll could’ve down the line of a number of other expenses.
  16. My rookie mistakes in that was McD and beane. Because there’s no reason it should take that long for a roster to be built but you referenced mistakes by first timers being expected
  17. 2-4 are the prime window, not 3-5. If he’s the real deal we have a decade plus of opportunity but you are tossing one of the most premium years out the window simply because you are cool with rookie mistakes for several years it seems.
  18. It feels like you made a bunch up to create a soap opera narrative
  19. Which wrs didn’t come back from this? Genuinely curious who the comparables are if so many are scared of it? I don’t know offhand
  20. I feel like the first half is a bit overstated. Taking the safeties out of the box is a major impact on the run game and giving Allen a threat at the level he likes to pass is great. There’s a reason a good WR gets so much more than even an elite TE. also, I remember thinking that a TE would help Taylor throw to the middle of the field. In hindsight spending money to play to your qbs strengths seems most appealing.
  21. Remind me how they would promise that and why he would accept it?
  22. Not much of a limb to predict for what amount to a bunch of practice squad guys. I’d venture many will be in camps.
  23. Touché. I’ve held my midseason stance and it may be expired now
  24. Touche and I tend to agree with the keep til you replace sentiments but he’s someone I’d be actively looking to replace potentially. Could we save money with a mark ingram type and flip a mid round pick for shady into a productive young guy for instance?
