  1. Im not so much advocating for him. But you need to at least have an alternate plan to move the ball that more efficiently allocated the resources.
  2. Since when was that a thing? i get the sentiment but scarcity drives price everywhere
  3. More money is a pretty pointless distinction. the team that pays him will get him and both could do whatever their heart desires on that front.
  4. We could pretty much any and every year, John.
  5. How would obj and Landry ever coexist on a team ?
  6. I also think kromer is some sort of voodoo witch doctor of oline play. He gets more from less than any position coach I’ve followed and grabbing his guys worries me a bit as I’ve seen a few take big steps backwards without him
  7. Which makes sense as lack of padded practice makes it a tough curve for young lineman
  8. Also not realizing that being on the stage doesn’t mean you are necessarily the show. His job in these drills is to facilitate.
  9. Picture a guy like dareus. Handed him big bucks before the window. Traded. Created big dead money that impeded spending.
  10. I enjoy football and go to most/all saints home games any given season because of the fun of the event. Clearly it’s more fun when they win and there are players I enjoy. I still rocked Zubaz when the bills came to town. Does that bother you?
  11. Unfortunately is it better if he gets that but decided not to do it til year 3?
  12. He’s a guy I’d worry about giving up picks AND guaranteed dollars for
  13. This thread didn’t work out the way you expected, eh?
  14. If the bills go from one of the worst WR groups in recent memory to it being a strength due to a UDFA that they cut midseason and a CFL signing.... beane sold his soul to the devil.
  15. I’d be nervous about anyone that experienced a major jump under Kromer. The dude has voodoo magic with coaching guys up. Especially guards.
  16. I’d be disappointed if he’s top 2 on the depth chart, I’d be shocked if he’s 7th or lower though.
  17. To be fair it’s not thaaaaat huge of a trench to reconcile him being both mediocre and potentially more complete than the rest of our depth chart Portraying that it may take him 7 more years to catch up as a defense to him not being on the same level is an interesting take. If anything I think you underscored that he’s undoubtedly not there yet.
  18. You see, docs arguing that he will face harsh punishment and no punishment all at once.... you know, based on precedent of what people were forced to volunteer to do in marginally related situations
  19. You didn’t know they are the same person?
  20. Yup. Positional needs also change so quickly. 2 years ago you would’ve gotten a funny look about drafting an interior lineman in round 2 and now look at us.tgis year we were desperate for them all year. 3 years from now do you want an elite pass rusher in the system even though we have a decent line now and he may take a year to reach potential or to have reached for a good tight end that can contribute more snaps quicker?
  21. Do you wonder a little why we so aggressively shed salary now?
  22. It also means they aren’t cutting guys early, and often when they acquire talent it’s a trade or someone another team released.
  23. To be fair, there’s a good chance they weren’t there specifically for tre. After the fact it’s easy to create a storyline I feel like stuff like this isn’t near as insightful as he portrays
