  1. I just find it amusing when posters try to really differentiate value on deep day 3 picks. Singling you out wasn’t the intent. You just happened to have the “I could maybe live with” and then continuously reply to me thinking it was amusing
  2. That would be part of ensuring the BPA is a need.
  3. We really need one more and he’s looking like the best bet. Not moving up for a wr here was a disappointment even if not DK
  4. Yea that 6.4% chance of a starter in the 5th vs 4.9% in the 6th really moves the needle on the decision to pick up and likely extend a known quantity
  5. Maybe you could live with a 5th but your good with a 6?!? ? some of yall take these day 3 picks mighty serious
  6. I liked the kid coming out. Arizona followed by this likely dooms any chance he might’ve had.
  7. If the dude gets us 4000 yards and 18 tds before flaming out for another team on his second contract I’d still call that a win at this point.
  8. DL, OL and WR accounts for 12 out of 22 starters essentially and coincidentally the strong suits of this draft largely. Is it shocking that need and value lined up?
  9. Would much rather that than draft one honestly. Get a WR. Trade for a TE and just BPA high upside guys for any leftover picks
  10. Have you compared he and mills in any meaningful way
  11. Nice add. We have a lot of pieces at OL now. Should be able to ease him in as needed and also have depth. Nice change from last year.
  12. In that this audio was at one point mentioned as protection, it would make sense that it’s release is in response to something
  13. Yea but Ritchie was blue collar so we like him
  14. In my scenario I’m hoping for DK plus a lineman tonight. And I think we have enough for a passable line at this point honestly. The pick would be to create depth/competition and stability longer term not to be a huge immediate impact probably if being honest about development of lineman. but a wr room with: beasley brown zay dk (wildcard) foster (wildcard still) andre Roberts looks nice to me
  15. I’ll keep making this point- we (myself included) loved getting the TE as a security blanket with clay. But our qb wasn’t a dink and dunk in the middle of the field type and he rarely showed value. Thats the long long way to say get a guy that plays to Allen’s strengths and not weaknesses. A big bodied, physical threat with straight line speed seems to be great for a guy that describes himself as always looking for the TD pass first. I think we could feasibly go after both a WR and OT early in the second. We don’t have room for all these picks and are loading up talent to win now. I wouldnt be opposed to securing two high picks tonight, and still looking to take in a vet in a trade (late pick for someone on an iffy contract for instance or who has been replaced by a draft pick) and not having much more ammo after that.
  16. Given how threads on him went during the season it’s really surprised me honestly.
  17. The flip is his abysmal cones and shuttles. I’d make the move but he’s very boom or bust in measureables
  18. And dts this year. Would be an odd coincidence
  19. Youve really been all about the new threads eh?
  20. You can bring it down like 2 notches and still be safely righteous. The dude seems like a giant @&(&@$ but I think you can let his employers get through like 5 mins of meeting with their investigative and legal teams before demanding everyone’s head.
  21. We have no need for so many picks, a 5th year option is huge and there looks to be a potential run early in the 2nd which may be important
  22. I look forward to the coat and weight debates for the next few years
  23. I think he’d get along great with Sean Payton in Nola but they don’t have resources for it
  24. Oliver is going to be mighty polarizing in our fan base but hopefully a heck of a player if we take him
