  1. yes - to beat multiple top teams consecutively you tend to have to be an all around good team, and top of the list is still being able to toss the ball
  2. Just an FYI - had this thread already this week
  3. Or that’s not why they picked him
  4. so they surprise you but not those around you. An interesting insight.
  5. I feel like that’s a poor use of that simile. Isn’t the whole point that it’s a surprise?
  6. He won’t be perfect But this was a major miss on a guy he should’ve known well. the 3rd isn’t huge but the cap and more importantly the opportunity cost of getting someone else hurt a bit. Not the end of the world but a minor miss.
  7. yea it’d be real weird if he was like “josh Allen? He sucks but I got paaaaaid” that’s not to say he was lying but can only throw so much weight on it
  8. Josh is also the lowest and only sub-200 YPG guy. A good team doesn’t have to throw 300 weekly, but it’s starting to be odd that it never happens, right?
  9. you could do the heavy lifting and still have leftover if you want
  10. we have a TON to spend. If drafting Both WR and DE, where are you spending?
  11. assuming all else stays generally the same, we need a DE1, WR1, and RB2 this offseason. Whether draft, trade or free agency- its a crossroads where the price doesn’t matter much if they can land true immediate impact players.
  12. there are quite a few we don’t generally hear about
  13. just seemed you were coming in pretty hot on that one. In this case I think his reps had almost nothing to do with making reads or finding rhythm (back ups anyway) and everything to do with keeping the tempo of if being a work week and Sunday being a day you stretch, suit up, and hit the field. Everyone is different but a young guy can benefit sometimes. Heck, they say while Drew Brees was injured he still had some time each game day where he did a practice that was a simulated game day. ultimately, it’s hard to judge what a guy needs without being there with him day in and day out
  14. what’s the substantial difference in a half vs 2 drives in your opinion?
  15. you could pitch count Wallace a little but we only carry 5 cbs on the 53. With 1 already sitting 100% even on limited status Levi would see a lot of snaps I assume you want no play from far more guys than reasonably possible if Wallace is on that side of the line. I’d encourage you to jot down who you think should’ve been sitting vs playing though.
  16. im not sure any of us much know. Even if you dislike his play calling
  17. dont sleep on can’t guard Mike he was also without his HOF qb and dominated this season. The dude catches everything.
  18. taking less and spreading it would’ve just let us roll over even more to today if we didn’t spend the freed up cash
  19. best road record of late - saints. best bad weather teams - steelers, pats, and Green Bay all have hall of fame qbs i know the smash mouth blue collar romanticism loves big ugly unsung guys knocking off those delicate stars of the passing game... and there’s no single way to win... but overwhelmingly the path to sustained success in this league is through the QB and passing, and putting a well rounded 52 around him
  20. 4m is 2% of your cap. For a 53 man roster 2% isn’t breaking the bank If talking beane, we have held him to a pretty small window. in Carolina they did have some guys with checkered history
  21. Regardless they aren’t some scrub division 3 team.
  22. I’d sometimes agree but the dude has thrown exceptionally all year and I suspect he was late but knew he could be against a guy who is not an nfl db
