  1. I’ve begun to err on the side of a suit jacket up top and gym shorts for them. joking aside, I can get the first digital to fast screen candidates, and allow 4-5 people to see them for first impresssions. Not my favorite but whatever. As a follow up too I’d be strongly considering using it for me to screen out a bad employer though. An interview is supposed to be two directional and about both parties finding the right fit. It strikes me as a big red flag if you don’t get out of one directional communication fast (submit resume to them, give them video, another video and I’d bet a personality test in there somewhere)... at some point it’s showing either lack of awareness or lack of concern for your needs and that usually won’t get better after hiring.
  2. All of these are standard issue
  3. 100% accurate and almost certainly weeds out good candidates. Saving grace is many people struggle with them so any flubs you think you made likely were matched (or greatly exceeded) by others doing it
  4. it’s one of my less favorite developments. it saves very little time for either party, albeit easier to schedule, but loses any personal connections or reading of the room with a conversation. Plus a lot of people get uncomfortable taping but are fine in person
  5. Could trade to the 6th and get a hof qb.
  6. I think a solid plan. Once you’ve done a few dozen I imagine it’s pretty easy and if you don’t have the overhead of a store, taxes, not warrantying it long term etc... it’s cheap and easy to by some bulk screens and burn through them nights and weekends. I’ve been pretty lucky and not made a habit of needing too many replacements but it’s been quick and easy the couple of times I did (once the shady gas station kiosk and once a Craigslist person where I dropped it after work grabbed dinner and picked it up on the way home). remember- the more convinced you are they are going to steal your iPad, the better the deal you’ll get and odds are they won’t steal it ?
  7. looks like he actually cleared it and wants to continuing playing based on all the articles that pop up today
  8. I mean... I think that qualifies as wheels coming off as I believe only the cardinals are on 2 years of 5 or fewer wins at the moment and no team has 3 straight currently. if Gruden is 4 out of 5 years I would guess it does the trick.
  9. Coaches contracts are guaranteed. He’ll be there 7-8 years unless the wheels totally fall off
  10. I will just keep saying - give your 6th lineman developmental snaps instead of lee smith
  11. I’d imagine, best ways to move in the pocket as well as outside and then resetting would qualify
  12. adjusted for today’s drafting style he might slide a bit in 2020s class but not wildly.
  13. anyone watching saw he wasn’t the star he once was and already knows they don’t get along. I doubt it hurt his value in any noteworthy way
  14. I’ve got a dude at a gas station that does phone screens for like $30. I’d imagine iPads more expensive but not $200. Find someone hustling a side gig that might void the warranty but gets it fixed. Craigslist or the like might work.
  15. except for himself.
  16. I never really got people freaking out over it. Not my favorite when people recline but I’m y’all too and never really effected me much. Feels like people are just angry to begin with and use this as a spot to vent
  17. after your super bowl party thread we are all shocked by your rule...
  18. to be fair I wasn’t advocating trubisky or tua with that. Just pointing out that if you see your guy, you get your guy. The only reason it sets you back years is you don’t have a good qb if he flops, as the draft capital is generally replaceable
  19. because if you need a qb and think you see your guy it’s much better to definitely get him than to very likely get him
  20. I feel like we have been talking about Cameron brate for 3 years now
  21. I assumed that poster meant more nfl films mic than play calling discussion
  22. I haven’t watched much - is part of it just that you care less?
  23. it’s actually at the local high school in week 3 to reduce costs
  24. I think language on the field would largely be a defined penalty in the CBA. Surely plenty of insults are hurled any given Sunday which I imagine would cut the league at the knees if they try to impose an indefinite suspension. Then go wouldn’t have unlimited leeway to do what they choose with Rudolph if he said it, to my understanding.
  25. I feel like you just agreed with me but in what seems like a confrontational way.
