Headlines You'd Like To See Saturday Evening
NoSaint replied to Bleed Bills Blue's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
quite the headline. I refuse to accept this as a bills mafia fansite -
Pretty sure we want KC to win out

At least for sooooome seasons having a viable competitor might’ve knocked them down a seed with an extra loss or to the wildcard if the #2 was similarly good -

As great as the pats have been - no doubt their legacy has HUGELY benefitted from a weak division and being able to play fewer games and at home to get into the big show. -

I’m sure that focus will keep you prepared for peak performance unless you catch an easier path with slightly worse teams and better matchups for your roster. sign me up for a bye, home field advantage, and playing the lowest seed available- the trophy is worth just as much. -
that he caught a game winning TD isn’t some magical feat. He had his number called in the right spot. This isn’t everyone looking at Julio and him still getting it done consistently. pulling out stats on a bunch of non producers isn’t particularly compelling. kind of have to believe there may be more to it- did he run the wrong route 4 times in that last game? Would that change your opinion? Especially with a young qb trying to learn progressions reliably and trust the calls. Not saying he did but finding out something like that should shock no one as a potential reason he’d be benched after an important catch. Or have you gone back and watched his other routes for quality consistency and separation? im the furthest from a lee smith fan. I’m always in favor of him not being near the field - any pass catcher is a better pass catcher and we could give a depth lineman some reps as the 6th blocker and likely be better off on all fronts. But Dukes slow, went undrafted, washed out of the league, came back to little interest, cleared waivers, and now struggles to be active. There’s a good chance it’s simply a reflection on his play and not incompetent evaluations

It’s almost like you have a history of consistently over valuing unknowns based on possibility, and are looking for someone that fits this body type to do it with. just something to consider in your duke takes. Do you like who he is or who you want him to be?

don’t forget about Benjamin!

meh. You also thought our WRs would be good last year. Sooooo

Are the Patriots cheating on Special Teams?
NoSaint replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
ive always been a little skeptical of the helmet claims.a qb can only process SO MUCH information and between reading coverages, remembering route options, digesting blocking etc.. to have someone also in our ear seems incredibly difficult. It’d have to be really simple single word commands about stepping up in the pocket for instance, not reads in the pocket and downfield and on the backside of the play. for special teams I can’t fathom what you tell a DE about beating his guy to the punter mid rush. -
Watt punch on Allen run - He hung on to the ball!

it’s pretty risky for the defender too, so not like it’ll suddenly happen haphazardly all the time -

Yea, that one seems like Allen got lucky watt missed, not some special technique on his part -
Houston would be a juicy matchup for us in 1st round...

it’s about the best you can hope for in a wild card round. When everyone shows up it’s a tough game (as playoffs should be) but we match up well and I think they have more downside than us. not a gimme. Should be a good game. -

outside of mt13 the bills have the better WRs. they just need a premiere guy at the top -

they literally took it off the board with a ticky tack call and you think it’s just give it to drew? -

fans were heckling the refs about as loud as I’ve heard. and that includes throwing stuff on the field last week. It’s getting to be a powder keg. If a bad call happens in the playoffs it might get ugly in the dome. Certainly not to fight for a bye and home field -

Hell of a way to take a record off the board -
'Human Interest' stories in lieu of football
NoSaint replied to dorquemada's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bowl games will be worse. Welcome to prime time football. You get a few extra camera angles and a lot of stories for fans that aren’t diehards of either team. It’s how they introduce guys in a national stage instead of a regional broadcast -
How scared is the offense playing?
NoSaint replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
2 mins and timeouts you may as well call to kneel down the whole game. It’s not like people are calling for deep balls at your own 5 with 23 seconds and no timeouts
