    Not to defend but by nature of following this guy on his job he’s the dude that goes to the next opponents game to scout them, no? like he would be that guy at any time they did it. That’s why I’m surprised the bengals game would be the week they pull that card out of the deck

    The flip side being if their film crew was freelancing legitimately... they’d issue the identical statement. I don’t think the statement itself moves the needle much. Especially given the video existing and being in possession of the league. At this point it’s a matter of what’s on the tape

    really not even giving the benefit of the doubt, just looking at context of the available info. Seems they either went to amazing lengths, or dumb lucked into an opportunity that went bad when it happened.

    my point was if several of these were filmed in entirety at their own facility that it’d be an odd set up. Again, not saying it means it’s untrue that they did it on purpose- just rather elaborate if planned. it could have easily been an honest series that happened across an opportunity....

    yea but I linked them earlier and many have nothing to do with game day or the field. It’d be rather elaborate to create a whole series months ago with the payoff being bengals scout tape. again, not defending, just noting it’s odd

    Jokes aside - if he’s ripping the read option on his way to the line... it lends some credence to his questions of making reads and long term viability. It would be the ultimate cue of getting by on athleticism instead of being able to read the field. im curious to see some data on it to see if it’s a tell or just a few posters happened to catch some coincidental shots

    it’s still a bit odd to me they’d lay tape for 7 other segments just to set up the bengals for this. That’s high level commitment for low level gains. why not run this scam for a bigger game, no? not so much a defense as a curiousity

    I mean, they did admit to wrong doing sooooo... i think the tape will tell the story. If it’s zoomed in on a play caller long term it’ll be different than an occasional action shot towards the field.

    ultimately, the tape will tell the story. im not sure I care much either way about the practice but either they were inside the rules or not with their behavior and it’s sounding sketchy. now what will the nfl do from here will be tricky after they created the lack of trust post spy gate

    kraft does own a variety of companies beyond the Patriots. I’d assume most of the media being spinoffs outside the patriots immediate realm where someone like this would be a kraft group employee not a patriots employee.

    He’s always had an up and down nature. It was my worry with him. When riding the crest of the wave he’s among the better out there, but is he that guy 16 (or day i say 20) weeks? curious to see how he rebounds or if he’s in a rut

    if we have a shot? He’s potentially a day three pick but with a good combine can be a day 2 guy. He could definitely be a good contributor

    how slim is the slice of emergency situations where the caller could use the landline but not give a location? Even among the ultra rare 911 events, that’s got to be a pretty small sub set how many times do we have to tell you to stop giving your number to women on the internet

    They’ve played well. The browns have not. I don’t think that means there’s some large truth about lunch pails vs stars. You find great talent and point them towards common goals. bills fans often come across desperate to have a team that plays good, even if not great, on a modest budget with blue collar guys.

    Technique, footwork, hand placement, strength- often see jumps quickness worries me a bit more with a guard/tackle tweener. It’s possible and could be technique driven- but it just strikes me as the harder fix (or you’d see more opportunities to kick raw guards outside as you fix their feet)

    The privacy thing bugs me a bit but I’ve also come to terms that short of becoming the Unabomber (you know, minus the bombs) That my phone, car, tv, computer etc... all have the same capabilities for govt or other spying. i don’t like it but its happening so I may as well take the up side

    Well, We both tend to use common sense and pay attention. That dude has the legit connections though.
