  1. yea but I linked them earlier and many have nothing to do with game day or the field. It’d be rather elaborate to create a whole series months ago with the payoff being bengals scout tape. again, not defending, just noting it’s odd
  2. Jokes aside - if he’s ripping the read option on his way to the line... it lends some credence to his questions of making reads and long term viability. It would be the ultimate cue of getting by on athleticism instead of being able to read the field. im curious to see some data on it to see if it’s a tell or just a few posters happened to catch some coincidental shots
  3. it’s still a bit odd to me they’d lay tape for 7 other segments just to set up the bengals for this. That’s high level commitment for low level gains. why not run this scam for a bigger game, no? not so much a defense as a curiousity
  4. I mean, they did admit to wrong doing sooooo... i think the tape will tell the story. If it’s zoomed in on a play caller long term it’ll be different than an occasional action shot towards the field.
  5. that they might not be cheating this time is misleading?
  6. Awww it’s always nice to see family posting together
  7. https://www.patriots.com/video/do-your-job-equipment-staff here’s the video series they are claiming it’s part of. to save this moment to cheat against the bengals would be odd but as said last post - the tape will tell the story
  8. ultimately, the tape will tell the story. im not sure I care much either way about the practice but either they were inside the rules or not with their behavior and it’s sounding sketchy. now what will the nfl do from here will be tricky after they created the lack of trust post spy gate
  9. kraft does own a variety of companies beyond the Patriots. I’d assume most of the media being spinoffs outside the patriots immediate realm where someone like this would be a kraft group employee not a patriots employee.
  10. He’s always had an up and down nature. It was my worry with him. When riding the crest of the wave he’s among the better out there, but is he that guy 16 (or day i say 20) weeks? curious to see how he rebounds or if he’s in a rut
  11. Super dome is getting dicey seen a few beers reach the field
  12. if we have a shot? He’s potentially a day three pick but with a good combine can be a day 2 guy. He could definitely be a good contributor
  13. how slim is the slice of emergency situations where the caller could use the landline but not give a location? Even among the ultra rare 911 events, that’s got to be a pretty small sub set how many times do we have to tell you to stop giving your number to women on the internet
  14. you figure it’s the top 3ish players from each team. I don’t think any of us do Bruce.... OJ.... and oh yea tasker!
  15. They’ve played well. The browns have not. I don’t think that means there’s some large truth about lunch pails vs stars. You find great talent and point them towards common goals. bills fans often come across desperate to have a team that plays good, even if not great, on a modest budget with blue collar guys.
  16. Technique, footwork, hand placement, strength- often see jumps quickness worries me a bit more with a guard/tackle tweener. It’s possible and could be technique driven- but it just strikes me as the harder fix (or you’d see more opportunities to kick raw guards outside as you fix their feet)
  17. The privacy thing bugs me a bit but I’ve also come to terms that short of becoming the Unabomber (you know, minus the bombs) That my phone, car, tv, computer etc... all have the same capabilities for govt or other spying. i don’t like it but its happening so I may as well take the up side
  18. Well, We both tend to use common sense and pay attention. That dude has the legit connections though.
  19. kirbys had that title for years- good more people are catching on
  20. you’d think odds of PI far surpass an INT return for a TD. Especially if the offense knows the situation. “This is the throw being mad no matter what- don’t let it come back.” that said, I’m pro going for it on 4th it I’m the chargers. Lining up on a play that gives you a 90% chance of being successful in earning a less than 50% odds to win doesn’t do it for me when 3 chain links moves your odds north of 50% and has to be about the same conversion rate as the kick
  21. but the Steelers have a national following and it’s a chance to introduce the bills to the playoff watching crowds
  22. I don’t think anyone’s argued he must consistently
  23. no worries and I appreciate it. counter point- any team generally will have some highs and lows as they push chips in, and then regroup. I wouldn’t argue we do anything totally absurd and crippling... but if we have a window where we have a built in 15% advantage in cap vs the rest of the league, let’s max it even a little more now I’m not saying league minimum contracts with 100m signing bonuses to kick everything down the line and trading the entire next three years drafts... but there’s responsibly aggressive in spending the entire cap (and maybe a touch extra by structure) and toss a pick here and there to turn that 15% advantage into (totally made up here) 20-25%. even if that leaves us at 90% later. Assuming josh is the guy there are going to be 20 years of mild ups and downs - but we can have a HUGE up, with a run of the mill down behind it. It’s hard to get a ring and the way you take some of the luck out of it is over indexing in talent. In a few years the only way to do that is taking risks on guys, or incredible drafting. Today we can do it just by being a team making decisions as if we are really a contender.
  24. I know a lot here have a chip on their shoulders but I love when I can predict a game time consistently, plan around it, etc... and frankly working Monday going to a game and working Tuesday isn’t particularly fun. id much rather go Sunday afternoon even if the Boise Idaho isn’t getting to see us on mnf
