  1. Yup. Not every game needs to be 300 yards but getting strange that none are.
  2. you tell us. And is it out of line? Genuinely curious the answer.
  3. It’s, in fact, an incredibly basic and commonly used approach. It can’t be your default approach to throw deep there but you should have the playbook open and avoid having obvious tendencies
  4. and 3 is a great time to have the play book wide open. I don’t mind taking shots, though didn’t love the specific call.
  5. Meh it’s correlated pretty well. There are exceptions to any rule but especially over the long haul it’s rare it gets toooooo far out of line without a common sense explanation with turnovers or starting field position
  6. yea, but I don’t think it’s realistic to expect that deep a dive into all 32 teams. The fast story for 30 seconds of talking points is what it is, more or less
  7. I hope for the best for him but I’m not holding my breathe unfortunately. i love a good comeback, but plenty were celebrating his comeback while he was high in team meetings. Hopefully he turns it around but I get the feeling that there’s still a way to go before he actually makes major change
  8. unfortunately star is compensated in a way that as a gap filler you shouldn’t be starting many comparisons with “even though he was a better player than star....” Generally speaking the guys paid more are the disruptive penetrating players. there must be at least some concern that the center of our defense had one of the top paid pluggers and a top 10 pick at DT and a very high pick at MLB and run stuffing is considered a weak point at the moment. Hopefully the kids keep growing and elevating their play
  9. well, my first joke was that I thought the cliche joke was lame. Not that I care what you listen to. you dig in with dad made racial comments about traditionally black music and likewise you think rap is worthless is quite the clumsy way to say you casually happen to not like a genre of music and your dad happened to also not like a different random genre of music with no underlying connection- especially that of race. And that you’ve only used slurs once and it wasn’t to do with music probably didn’t help the cause. again, I really don’t care your views on race or music. Simply noting its quite the run of posts. Maybe worth considering what you are putting out there if you feel that upset by such a minor response to it
  10. Bashes rap. says he’s like his father who used epithets against jazz and R&B and Follows it by doubling down on his hate of previously mentioned genre that’s also associated with African American culture... Someone points out it’s odd to say he’s like his father in that regard... and that person gets a “liar“ I don’t know (or care) how many times you’ve used overt racial slurs but I feel comfortable standing by my previous statement that it was an interesting concession to say you were like your dad in that regard. Especially with the context you went out of your way to add around it.
  11. you are like your dad that used racial “epitaphs” towards music genres? Interesting admission.
  12. heck, I don’t think they are consistent enough to do it but if they simply win the games they are favored in - 11 is possible. 9-10 wins seems likely if healthy and no weird breaks. our easy schedule is nice too but theirs does keep pressure on. yup. Them at 9-7 would play nice for us and not be unreasonable. but it’s about as easy a schedule as they could hope down the stretch
  13. as others mention - the path to a 7-4 raiders record is easy.
  14. If on a cowboys board you might hear more chatter framed in the opposite perspective but here things tend to start “for the bills this game will be....” But it should be a good test for both sides. Unfortunately, their teams identity meets our weakness. Which is a fair worry.
  15. I’ll still bet on the weighted dice even if I don’t win every roll
  16. im not sure the chargers are the team to make that point with
  17. I can’t imagine he’d be 1 of our best 53. If he somehow was, sure but it’d be shocking to see a declining player coming off an Achilles suddenly go back to being a player problem is can you really see Dez making any of these next Sunday?
  18. I’m skeptical of anyone that types (c)rap music
  19. got it. Whether or not I agree, I didn’t get your specific distinction.
  20. im not sure that sharing feedback on who posters are is moderation though is it? If someone takes a 4merper4mer post serious, pointing out his history is just neighborly advice. If a guy is a fan of a rival college team and showed up after the draft it seems fair to acknowledge to someone hung up on him
  21. I think it comes down to team power ties back to franchises better controlling the product. most fans don’t actually care about right vs wrong but if they are stuck watching a bad team because of an ill advised contract
  22. of note I’ll say that fumbles lost mattering less is an opinion held by some of the respected minds of the game I think I’ve seen both Schwartz and BB subscribing to whether it’s a loss being mostly random and the ball leaving the hand being the much more important end for judging. The snap being a little of an outlier probably but you get the idea I’d bet.
  23. And yet 9 writers collaborate and the one getting the link and large quote was the one you think is least accurate. Almost like consumers have decided to support controversy over accuracy.
  24. what do you expect to see and at what point do you worry if you don’t see it?
