  1. Pass interference is the only reviewable penalty
  2. It was physical and a flag wouldn’t have been unfair but I’d be surprised if overturned
  3. As soon as brown touched it and Allen took off I think I stopped breathing
  4. That was incredibly close amazed the Texans weren’t ready given all the talk of him wanting contact
  5. I can’t imagine they are a hot day of ticket on resale sites. Odds are you’ll save a few bucks but I wouldn’t worry too much. Grab them when convenient knowing you don’t much care where you sit and go enjoy a few things around the game more than the actual game. I’d imagine there must be a few cool parties or events that weekend - that’s where you should probably look for tips.
  6. Fuller out is a big one. id go right at watt early and often. Double him up - hit him and push his upper body- make him reach out to grab backs going past. he can be superhuman but his body can only heal sooooo fast and we should put that to the test immediately. No way he can make all the plays and if the pec comes off the bone, it’ll deflate that defense.
  7. Be a winner. Don’t enjoy losing a wild card game.
  8. it’s barely a third chance, it’s basically just waiting to make a decision until you have to and having a no cost chance to watch him til cut day in camp. if he shows up on fire, ride the wave but don’t count on it. If he hasn’t stepped up cut him in August
  9. Ultimately, conservative can be great for winning most of your games but to win 4 straight on the road against top teams- gotta beat the odds. Means some risk is absolutely required and a few things have to break your way. toss up some 50/50 balls and see if you get them.
  10. you might’ve twisted my arm using the FG units scoring impact but to go with the return game impact just isn’t doing it. You’ve overstated the 1/3 factor to start and then pointed at the MUCH less significant portion of it.
  11. tuning in to see Irvin makes you the problem! Stop doing it and guys like him won’t Have a platform for their jibberish
  12. It’s mike Irvin. Why would you look to him for thoughtful insight or respect? He’s there to say outlandish things.
  13. Don’t care. like not even a little bit. Good offenses still do it on the regular. we will have a better blocker in for the runs and can stay in line for protection on a pass. I’d rather Telegraph that I’m about to block you really well than play the lee Smith game and give up blocking for the optics of possibly having a bad pass catcher option.
  14. It doesn’t matter much but I’ll keep saying playing our 6th lineman on those plays is better
  15. if Foster blows a knee in warmups it’s nice to have uniforms prepped for everyone still. duke could be playing but I do suspect they prep more than just 45 lockers that morning
  16. well, his laying the stats side by side with that added commentary I think warrants push back that Hopkins is indeed a better player. Browns good, Hopkins is great. and if you find his post interesting, more power to you. I don’t think it was particularly productive.
  17. Even if true- it’s incredibly uninteresting to just randomly throw up some poorly contextualized stats without implying any opinions from them. whether he’s saying browns better than given credit for or Hopkins isn’t as good - he’s implying SOMETHING by putting the two side by side, otherwise he could be posting the return on his 401k and what colors he sees in the sky when he looks out his window to the same effect. and given the context of those two WRs careers, theres unfortunately a gap that favors the guy that he’s trying to say there isn’t a large gap in favor of.
  18. but by narrowing it so much and having it be a best in career compared below average- to isolate them makes little sense or point is my point. Hopkins is a much better player, I even if the 2019 stat line is relatively close.
  19. comparing browns best year to Hopkins 5th(?) best? And Hopkins is still ahead? yea, I’d say Hopkins would be proven the much better player at that point. Though browns been a great contributor on a reasonable contract.
  20. Because a different player on a different team did something in a different season you are worried? and trying to punch out the ball is good defense.
  21. meh. Hopkins would be blanket doubled if not covered by tre and tre should shut down stills 1-1 pretty reliably opposite that. If they know where to constantly shade safeties (to Johnson) it may make it a bit easier on the back end organization. it’ll be fine either way, despite dramatic gut reactions
  22. That it’s the playoffs might mean they all actually have something to play for. hes followed quite a few guys through his career, and this year too. he didn’t have him every snap last year but if i recall tre even mocked that the Texans started hiding him in the backfield for some plays to get him out of tres shadow
