  1. Put another way… he wasn’t motivated enough but will now try harder and learn from a guy that flamed out spectacularly due to items including (but not limited to) inability to relate to teammates and oversized ego?
  2. Or are you just hyper focused on the headlines?
  3. yea, Hyde had a ton of very good tape
  4. you don’t know the exact but I know you know it isn’t a lot
  5. yup - if they can avoid injury or distraction, they have a lot of sheer talent in the building. That’s a huge if for them though, given the team they assembled. they could be a Super Bowl contender or 3rd in their division and eliminated by early December really easily
  6. really stressed you out to have like 3 low key corrections head your way, eh?
  7. what exactly do you believe the role entails?
  8. Yea but that we is likelier to be a sketchy fringe WR2 which gets a paycheck like a top tier center or safety or running back
  9. Dejean if he’s great - half the paycheck of a wr still. you have to hit on DE or WR in the draft to reset the window to being akin to having a rookie contract qb.
  10. quoted just in case anyone didn’t read it the first time. The pay scale is soooo big in this consideration.
  11. meh. If that keeps you happy, who am I to argue it but I do think it’s just as far in left field as those that are enraged by his tweets. At least for your sake it’s a much more zen way to detach!
  12. So your stance is he is emphatically here and doing nothing at all to invite the response he has gotten essentially his entire career? it’s just a vast media conspiracy against him to create clicks, and he could do nothing to remedy this problem?
  13. the guy poking the bear is easier to remedy than is the bear. I’d agree anyone getting totally out of sorts over it is silly but it’s exactly what he’s looking to get too. something about his behavior not matching the words particularly well - no?
  14. the owner died and his wife is holding the team. The front office is trying to prove they can do it without Sean and drew making reckless win now moves
  15. he actively trolls them for fun i just have to underscore that he goes out of his way to upset them just to get off on it no one is a winner in it
  16. everyone in the building is desperate to prove they can do it without Sean/drew but the way to do that is a hard reset not digging deeper. the owner is absentee in football decisions - so basically the opposite
  17. At 10m you could get a fringe top 5 center, or settle for a not even top 5 WR2 Even so, it’d be less than 10m in cap savings compared to a mediocre wr being the same (and a top guy being 25m)
  18. I’m incredibly gun shy of Achilles recoveries but he already made it back
  19. Just bully him endlessly, right?
  20. He’s a “sign him as a lottery ticket and if he plays like a starter it’s found money” type of guy. You expect nothing and it’s all upside
  21. imagine, he may play even better than his career year being even further removed from the Achilles injury
  22. It’s not the end all be all but it’s a consideration. a guy that’s elite at preparation and honing his craft will be fine though if he has the arm strength, hand size etc…. And if he’s missing any of that it’s a concern in January games regardless of where home is.
  23. private visits are completely normal occurrences for guys at position of need (especially around your picks day 1-2)
  24. if you don’t understand why it’s productive to say whether you think he’s getting 10m or 40m a year (or somewhere in between) when saying they should extend him, I’m not sure what to say. It’s like the folks debating whether he should be traded but all have wildly differing values in their heads. apparently that requires super computing to do though
