  1. we have been talking about this since before the Tennessee miss. The thing is that even scouted and known, the tush push is usually a 99% play because it’s near impossible to stop a few inches in that situation setting aside the ref issue I’d be real curious to see more of their magic bullet because it’s been years of the same play and they stopped it more times in that game than the rest of the league since 2022
  2. sir, I’m not even really trying to score that many more points. im fine breaking even in the regular season scoring if having another good weapon saves Josh from a month of putting the team on his back when shakir rolls and ankle and we have Keon/hollins on the perimeter. imagine a world where Josh is healthier, and we haven’t dug near as deep in the bag of tricks and can actually kick it up another gear in January
  3. just because your last relationship was terribly abusive doesn’t mean you need to settle for less than the best in your next
  4. my worry all year was how thin the wr room was and by proxy how often Josh would need to be Superman I sure would love the perk of still scoring a ton during the regular season with him taking half the hits- and then come January be able to really reach into the bag of tricks, like you see KC do
  5. I don’t think Mack’s mom would have… he’s a 31 year old that cracked 2000 career yards this year. I like hollins but might be an indictment on the plan (or execution of the plan) if he’s getting that level of play
  6. They could’ve overcome themselves, or the refs, but not both
  7. if his body ends up like cam newton and not TB12 - we already could be in the back 9 frankly, we should be pushing chips pretty all in at this point. He’s a rare specimen in his prime and we ate the cap for a reset… I want the next 3-4 years to be very aggressive
  8. I wish I had a great answer… cooper is hard to forecast from where you and I sit Hollywood brown? He was a 1 yr 7m and shouldn’t be pricier I haven’t scoped out the draft much but a high pick would be fine by me Im not sure what to say on this one but I wouldn’t be shocked if Christian Kirk finds his way into offseason discussions. Cut candidate, previous interest from beane and friend of Josh. I’m not sure he solves our problem but a year here may help him regroup if cut. i haven’t deeply looked at options though
  9. I think the fastest way to swing the games we are losing is to score 7 more instead of stopping an extra drive at this point. I don’t care if we score a million offensive points in the regular season if KC scores 5 more than us every January. let’s break their defense at this point at this point I trust Josh to be damn near perfect if given the tools he just turned in a season with the lowest rate of mistakes in the history(?) of the nfl. imagine if we empowered him fully.
  10. He had a terrible year in New Orleans under this front office
  11. yea I hate to say it but a soft fall without a defender is exactly the type of play that wins the family reunion game… but lost the afccg
  12. yea, it’s not like he’s been so great that we can’t give his reps to Knox and say cooper The real spot this could sting is when we had him as the pusher for Josh after failing 3 times. We race to the line to do it with a guy with a bad knee? I don’t know what a torn pick does for strength and confidence in the knee but it sure pops in my head as a curiosity with him pushing a guy that’s sliding around on a wall of people
  13. Right now it feels like He’s the guy that’s 3rd place in your fantasy league because he just always follows the projections
  14. Josh may have been imperfect but he was an A- by taking a very difficult play, and giving his team a great shot to survive based on his incredible talent. Thats why its going to be remembered as the Kincaid drop and not the Allen line adjustment play
  15. yea but that’s a “I didn’t play perfect but I gave my team a very strong chance anyway” vs “I ended the season because I missed a layup”
  16. unfortunately it’s likely a head coach hire not an OC
  17. I could see him being .500 by losing to playoff teams and playing mistake free football against schlubs.
  18. should’ve swapped coverages sooner still we were fine enough once we did
  19. id love to hear the mechanism on this one other than I guess the team in the booth actually calling it?
  20. or a classic go 4 wide with a rb and josh under center. Essentially force them to defend more than 1 sq yard. josh can still find a crease or if they put 9 guys over the LG there’s an option to get out of the play
  21. mahomes had an actual turnover and that sack at the edge of fg range
  22. this one killed me… they pulled out a ton of wins I didn’t expect once they got past the Texans-ravens debacle early. I figured 10 wins, take the division but not a credible threat. Last weeks win started to get my buy in for real… and then here comes the 12 slot wr, no perimeter threat, no pass rush team that I saw on paper before the season we have Josh. It’s all pass rushers, and pass catchers now. The rest is noise.
  23. It’s rare that I’ll say this but I think we see him having fun a lot in the social media videos. I don’t doubt that he is a hard worker but I think he really will need to focus on both his craft and perception of his work this year. come back and be goofy with Josh and the biggest kid of the bunch during Mr brightside after showing off you are out working every single dude at TE university
  24. yea I’m pretty worried on Coleman being Gabe Davis 2.0…. Probably has a few big pop games where with a broken coverage plus a 50-50 ball plus a great Allen throw he’s 140 yards and 3 tds…. But then goes a month without a meaningful passing play and we talk about his great run blocking Separation is going to be hard to create and he’s just blanketed a lot of the time
  25. I think stopping saquon and their passing attack would’ve been very hard I suspect it would’ve been a close game
