  1. maybe spread the ravens out a bit and sneak Josh in there a bit though?
  2. I think you can be a lot more bold in the third quarter and have the same time consumption (maybe more) we went a long time without a pass past maybe 2-3 yards down field or an Allen run. im not saying you have to go run and shoot there but they don’t have the talent around Josh to completely pull him out of the game for most of the second half and if not for a huge fumble we may not have won a game we had a two score lead
  3. feels like every week rapp hurts someone could be an opponent- could be himself or a teammate id be super curious how many games he’s missed time in for blowing up himself
  4. yea I haven’t seen enough of his games this year to comment confidently but the stat line was impressive and what I saw before tonight seemed like steps forward - I wasn’t sure how much was change in his play vs having Henry, some receiver help, etc… but clearly to finish the year with that TD:Int ratio, he’s doing something right
  5. I kind of like the idea of the Monday after the conference championships even, with the bye week for the Super Bowl. 1 seeds in the first round bye, Super Bowl teams in that bye and the rest when eliminated. I might be bouncing an idea for limiting active playoff coaches for this last week? Some of the teams interviewing 17-18 guys is just gratuitous. If limited to 1-2 guys actively coaching in this last week maybe there’s a better focus on real candidates and not just calling every playoff coordinator because you have nothing better to do
  6. he certainly has input
  7. AND even fail all those it’s 50-50 in overtime roll in that 8 makes it basically impossible to lose in regulation and you have to do it this I was curious about live
  8. I think Lamar is an elite nfl weapon I think Lamar is a very good player at the qb position. Puts it together non traditionally but easily a top 5 guy. I hate how Lamar has become symbolic of a bit of an unspoken cultural battle. He’s such a fun player but near impossible to talk about his play because there’s so much more attached to the conversation for a lot of people on both sides ((note not just saying race here but also new school vs old school, etc… too))
  9. the loss on third down made it a no brainer. id be infinitely curious what spot on the field was his tipping point
  10. it’s strange how few reps he’s getting. Trying not to project past situations as we have Brady now but it’s weird how slow guys get worked in under McDermott so I’m not sure what to think
  11. If he can’t play he shouldn’t be on the roster… let him be a coach
  12. I don’t think you start Hyde but you are edging towards him being your last active guy in case of injury to bishop
  13. that’s bills favored on a neutral site basically
  14. of course but to gunners point, part of the reason was Andrews knew he absolutely had to get it in the end zone and the placement made it harder to coordinate the catch AND the score and he had to have both
  15. it definitely complicated the play
  16. Send this man’s charity some money
  17. Bills fans should donate to mark Andrews charity
  18. Can’t lose on this drive - and worst case likely get the ball back still. we would take plus 8 here if told the situation pre game
  19. Why would you motion Henry out of the backfield
  20. definitely considerations…. but also I think if beane could have hindsight he might pause on whether he’d sign that deal based on the role Knox fills. I don’t think he’d argue it is tremendous value for constructing a full 53, even if he thinks he’s a good player
  21. I think it’s all a bit relative… by giving him 10M a year you set an expectation. Especially on a team that’s paying qb already. If looking for an offensive role player that’s not a boundary WR…. would you rather Dawson Knox, at TE2 or a premiere RB? Say Henry or perhaps a very real choice between Knox and cook?
  22. I’ll buy steering interest in games but I don’t buy it to that level. Plus it was the right move
  23. he took a few “just throw the ball even if it’s a bad throw” sacks
  24. Agreed and hopefully the refs think twice about the white glove treatment if they think he’s setting them up to look bad
  25. that run to the sideline where he tried to draw the flag really got me. It was dirty.
