sure it matters. It’s not a bright line that can’t be crossed and no other factor matters but IQ sure does correlate to being susceptible to this kind of stuff, and it also correlated to having a rather poor plan. Don’t worry, I’m sure you are already on all kinds of strange watchlists for the government. What’s one more?

we have josh Allen. This teams a contender for the next decade. that we were terrible for 20 years doesn’t mean you should play scared of being great because of the risk of missing. that said, it would take something practically unheard of to hit that point this year. A couple big losses in the vein of 13 seconds where the coaches clearly mess up I guess?

yea, I don’t think we know enough day to day… but there have been a few indications he likes to drink/party. -
Jon Feliciano's take on KC playoff game

It’s a great gig and has value… but I wouldn’t truly celebrate him as an entrenched starter in this league either. You’d think he’d want to keep a little quieter though, as he doesn’t have much of a hold on any future jobs and not worth a headache for a guy like that. those pesky stunts just make it so hard to hit the defender! If the guy would just slow down he’d really hit him in the mouth. -
from the post you quoted- I think a statement like “the shooters family said he was a normal kid” need to be taken with a bit of a grain of salt too. you just rarely see someone say “in hindsight we messed up not taking it more seriously when the red flags got so extreme that he was taken in for a psych evaluation and we still acted like nothing was amiss” Additionally, being released from being held against his will doesn’t mean nothing was wrong. “mentally ill” is such a big umbrella that it’s not a productive label, but people that are well don’t do this. I don’t know his challenges but he certainly was unwell and that doesn’t take away from his responsibility or label others.

he is penciled in the keep a seat warm til they can replace him he has the benefit over other mediocre options in the interim because he knows the system and can make the line calls. -

you mean mongo might not offer phd level insights? -
I pulled my hazy memory of league minimum pay and made the point that getting from 51 to 53 won’t be $5M. Good job saying it’s correct, but with extra detail. I did not think it mattered toooo terribly much to be exact as someone in the top 51 likely hits the road during cuts too so it’s not a particularly hard line number anyway. Going to 53 will definitely very slightly increase our spend, but also potentially have associated offsets.

which is 53 and players 52 and 53 will be, what, 660k each?

OT Deshaun getting ready for a sit down with NFL

right so he’s getting a full paycheck this year even if suspended. Only 1m at risk for him. -
blame is a tricky word bought him a gun, obviously knew he had made generalized threats at school as he was held for a couple days in a mental health evaluation last year. So odds are there are some justifiable fingers to point… just how many and what’s being said alongside the pointing. that said this is an 18 year old of legal adulthood. So while we will likely be justified in judging them for some choices- it’s also not a 15 year old here either.

ultimately, I appreciate the civil tone… but… you argument amounted to: conceding it is indeed more expensive, offering that it is in fact a punishment (well yea, but is it a better punishment?), and a distasteful at best or disingenuous at worst twisting of the point that it’s got finality that other options don’t. not great and honestly, I suggest we detour back to the case at hand and not the merits of the death penalty philosophically. honestly, both this and my prior comment are less about capital punishment and more about lackluster arguments

the jersey wasn’t even dirty from last time they gave it out. Quite convenient.
