  1. Giving the referees more opportunity to make unilateral judgement calls always sounds great in the moment, but infuriates fans in practice
  2. all of the above? he’s not a top 5 kind of tight end but is a legitimate starter in the league we haven’t seemed to scheme him well either. Seems like our underneath patterns were getting covered up quick lately, whether backs, receivers, or him… those quick outs haven’t been getting guys in space on the perimeter well and I haven’t seen him split the seam much (not watching all 22)
  3. I think the nfl COULD moving forward discuss if a toe tap could be a football move but as is the right call was made
  4. then running with it is the football move to complete possession in poyers case, surviving the fall is the football move. Unfortunately being out of bounds as soon as it’s loose he’s dead and the balls dead. The only real argument would be if a toe tap after the catch is a football move
  5. people heard helmet to helmet so many times in broadcasts that they aren’t aware it includes shoulder that said, definitely a flag. But also surprised by the ejection as it didn’t look like he was trying to wreck the guy. Just a bang bang play and the WR was a quick moving target. I think if the same hit happened early and the WR popped up fine it would’ve been just a flag but that late, with an injury, they tossed him in part to avoid drama down the home stretch.
  6. yea I mean maybe in a days notice Elam dropped 4-5 spots on the depth chart for no apparent reason and it’s not a disciplinary issue
  7. it’s been perfect here. is it Amazon or your internet
  8. I mean, yea, he’s going to insist on just talking football obviously Agreed. But the browns have to be hoping to leave much of the drama in this season to get a somewhat clean start next year.
  9. If it was a 50 person team with the CEO personally throwing a blow out event 50% would be real soft. this isn’t a dish to pass in the break room when everyone is off
  10. I can’t speak to this game but every organization I’ve dealt with on issues like this they will default to an account credit to roll into playoffs or a following year deposit unless someone REALLY wants the money asap. in this case by the time the credit processes they’d be asking for playoff money so it makes little sense to have thousands of refunds moved.
  11. the point seems to have flown completely past you. have you considered that after initial inflammation etc… has resolved itself that he may be plateaued for a bit?
  12. tell me more about his anticipated improvement in an extra week
  13. do it like 6 times and then fast count to catch them off guard
  14. plenty of acl injuries are able to walk off
  15. that we can’t handle the difference between “the video suggests” and “that guy definitely tore” may be as much an “us” problem
  16. next weeks Thursday again
  17. um, yea, throw that guy in. I think the bigger issue is getting into game shape to avoid a hamstring issue haunting in the playoffs because of how late in the season it now is
  18. I mean, what’s the positive spin on “definitely out til January but maybe next November” he’s allowed to take that range serious and not be thrilled about it. Even best case sucks for the guy and he couldn’t rule out the worst.
  19. The better team won. not an ounce of hesitation saying that. the lions will talk about moral victories and boneheaded mistakes from their staff managing clock… we will continue to watch for home field advantage in the playoffs while they watch our team on tv. Bills won.
  20. Easy: most are even worse even when healthy. perspective is a hell of a thing.
  21. they gave up 3 TDs and a FG. It was essentially “average” nfl defense despite missing most of their top end talent.
  22. no Rousseau, Miller, tremaine, Micah, and I’m not sure what tres pitch count was 4 day week, early game on the road My having virtual practices during the blizzard I don’t always love the coaching but we also have to be real that they should be getting beat up worse than they are at this point. To even remotely hold their own is a win.
  23. weird one to make that point in. It makes a ton of sense to have this open.
  24. honestly, I’m no doctor so I simply want him to make a reasonable choice based on sound medical advice. I hope he is both safe but also gets back after his passion as soon as he can
  25. davis is a sketchy WR2 and good WR3 gentry isn’t an nfl player hard to see a path to paying Davis right now so a talent infusion would be needed in the long term blue print
