We will see how this one affects him. that expert would probably tell most of our team to hang it up. football is a tricky one. When these guys get hurt we want to see them make the right choices for their families but they are all at risk every time they go out there.

Yesterday was bad weather, penalties, drops and not particularly inspiring play calling… but also until we figure out the Gabe Davis issue I’m not sure the offense reaches its potential. Whether it’s his skill set, injury we don’t know about or scheme - he needs to be a more complete contributor at WR2 if the offense is going to be fully successful. It takes pressure off of everyone else if that’s role is fully contributing

or the same stories only go so far and he’s figuring out life as you get deeper into the career. Plus you’ve heard him a lot this year. honestly though, I think just a case of narrating games for 60+ hours a year is a lot of volume of talking and some will be good but some will be clunky

I’m not sure it’s as you portray on the offer. QBs play by totally different rules with regards to value i suspect he would’ve quietly accepted something in the ballpark of the ravens past offer. the team would be showing good faith not to pull it. QBs are near impossible to find.
