  1. if it wasnt for Jeudy's injury history maybe it'd be an idea but too risky going forward imho. As for now someone like Mike Evans makes more sense to me. Davante Adams doesnt, big name tho of course. I can see why it'd garner interest but yeah its highly unlikely to happen.
  2. it is an issue, however at least they're seemingly aware of it & are helping him. I've been pretty critical of a lot of Beane's decisions, specifically his lack of urgency in addressing the oline more aggressively. But at least they're not letting Brown get exposed. Then we'd have something else to be upset about
  3. If i were building a team to compete for the Superbowl & were paying an elite talent like Josh Allen to lead our franchise, i'd pick someone who has the respect & the trackrecord to coordinate said offense. I wouldn't pick Ken Dorsey. I wouldnt take a chance on an unproven unknown. Say what you will about the reasons why he was the choice. But is he the best man for the job? Who can make the claim that he is? His supporters/defenders point to last season, but one could argue last season was attributed to the remnants of Daboll's influence. As time goes on his influence waned & Dorsey's took over. Putting aside the play design & calls & lack of focus & execution, do the players even respect KD enough to listen when he puts them in their place? Does he even do that at all? What track record can Dorsey point to, for that player to respect & listen to? Problems in any organization come from the top down & i dont think its any different here. Oline remains an area of concern. Jason Peters just got signed by Seattle. Guess they realized they needed help & did something about it. Will we? Stay tuned

  5. i stopped paying for cable 20 years ago & have relied on internet streams & torrents to get me thru. I have total freedom & control over what media i consume & have never looked back. Any sporting event, if theres a camera & internet connection, theres a stream out there to watch for free. Companies like Spectrum aka Slime Warner aka Adelphia Cable have a history of mismanaging funds where the customer experience is secondary to their corporate profit margin & dividend. Exec's paid themselves millions while cheating seniors out of paying more due to predatory billing practices. I have no sympathy for the situation they've created for themselves. There's plenty of options available, if you need a place to watch the game, dm me & Eff Spectrum & GO BILLS!
  6. the butt dimples make it feel weird to me. It also kinda looks like Aaron Rodgers. i do appreciate the commitment however if this is real
  7. to me its because we don't take whats given to us. The Patriots used to take advantage in that way. With our offensive philosophy, we're at our best when Josh completes high percentage throws, executes our offense & gets 1st downs. We dont need to throw 40 yards down field all the time. If we just take what defenses give us, if we just execute within ourselves, we should win most games. It feels like the thing that is stopping us is ourselves. The lack of focus, penalties, coaching & execution... its us its us. but you guys already know.. I hope that Cinci game was just a pariah, an outlier. As BILLS fans we've been thru a lot. We've seen how bad things can get. This team is so close. We have so much talent across the roster. Mano a mano we play smart & tough we win. This team needs to look within & at one another & find some character. Who do you want to be? Do you want to be losers or do you want to be the Super Bowl winning BUFFALO BILLS? They should be sick of being losers now. They were new to it when they got here but they should feel it now. Lets see who they are come Monday Night!
  8. hated the Boogie pick at the start, as well as many other early picks we've made (hard not to really), but i had hoped we would trade for some oline help or player to help us win NOW. A 5th rd pick for 2024/25 does nothing to help us NOW. Arizona traded Josh Jones to Houston for a 5th rd pick, would've liked to see us add a player like him, especially since our oline depth has taken a hit & its likely the most important area we need to improve anyways, outside of MLB. It is what it is i guess, GO BILLS
  9. wow yeah, i didnt even make that connection & recognize him. Thats pretty cool & a great show
  10. appreciate you posting this video but i dislike videos like this. Joe Marino went over all the video, well how about show it? Picture says a thousand words, video says even more. Couldnt he show the plays he's talking about? Wouldn't that have been a better video? Thanks Joe Marino for showing us what you think the issues are, oh wait you didnt lol. If im off-based i apologize in advance. GO BILLS!
  11. Should put 1 of those large refrigerator boxes in a BILLS uniform & make that our RT. At this point its scary to think how that actually could be an improvement. It'd still be a pushover but defenders would get tripped up in it & it'd slow em down. Make it happen Beane! GO BILLS! In all seriousness, Jason Peters should've been called before the game was over. And anyone else out there, Bueller? Bueller? Beane HAS to do SOMETHING. Give me Brady's offensive scheme with KC's oline & Josh Allen at QB. Run a balanced offense, taking what the defense gives you & just execute plays & 1st downs. Idk why that seems so foreign when we play? Get Josh in a rhythm, get everyone some confidence. With a struggling Oline perhaps running deeper routes that take more time to develop isn't the best strategy to run as often as we do? There's so many issues with this team right now (which is scary given where we are in our "window") & i suppose time will tell which ones are real or just perceived & anything can change if you get on a roll. But the issues seem more about us & less about the team we're playing. Which is good in that we can change things & control our destiny, but its bad in that its our own fault for being in this mess too. Can Beane look at some of these decisions & accurately evaluate himself to make corrective action? Not many can, but I hope he can because he needs to & fast. GO BILLS
  12. ha i thought this video was awesome. Showed more than just Hammer's Lot (which we have seen a million times before). Actually showed people the area, with many of the local spots & food we cherish. Surprise shoutout to The Waiting Room & Every Time i Die. Probably the best video i've ever seen on the BILLS tailgate experience. Wasnt just smashing thru tables & idiots setting themselves on fire. Thanks for sharing
  13. Just think, with the news of the cost overruns, in hindsight we very well could've afforded a dome, had we just simply managed the costs more efficiently elsewhere with the project? Thats what im taking away from the AP article thats got everyone fired up. This cost excuse was likely never the reason why we didnt decide on a dome, its Pegula's belief we should be outdoors, simple as that. Everything else seems just a supporting rationalization for Pegula's wishes. Whether one believes them or not, its up for debate i guess. Football "purists" aside, in a troubled economy where the slices of pie to go around are fewer & fewer, it doesnt make financial sense to spend $2B on a building used 12 times a year. It just doesnt & no amount of attempts to rationalize this will ever succeed, because at its core its simply irrational. But hey, now that im likely priced out of going to the games, maybe i can watch the games on TV hopefully going forward, so i guess i shouldnt complain? The BILLS are staying here for years to come. Whole thing literally makes me facepalm whenever i think of it. Guess i shouldnt haha.
  14. It really is amazing how KC can seemingly toss out any RB or WR onto the field & have them be utilized in a manner that is not only productive, but that strikes fear into your opponents. The names of their supporting cast change every year it seems, yet KC remains consistent & dominant. I agree with your general take. The 2 glaring differences as i see them are KC has better coaching & a better offensive line, period. Everything else is a give & take. If Mahomes has the time to throw, he'll find the open guy no matter who it is. Josh Allen is the same way. We just dont have the line to do that like KC does. We cant run the ball like KC does, throw screen passes like they do, offensive line & coaching, simple as that imho.
  15. really wish Fitz was 5 years younger & wanted to backup Josh. Would've been perfect Barkley has all the other traits a QB needs except the physical ones. He has the arm of a noodle. Kyle Allen isnt much better but at least has a little more velocity on his throws. But both suck. Ironically enough i went on playerprofiler.com & they have Barkley's best comparable player as Fitzpatrick lol. Man i wish that were the case.
  16. apparently! In fairness it is a long off season lol
  17. idk if you are the one who created the video or are friends with him but yeah its not too engaging or insightful lol. Made it to 0:57 before calling it a day. His thoughts on Leonard Floyd?: "Mmm, he's a good dude". Could've said it better myself lol Something like: Floyd's been 1 of the more consistent pass rushers in the game. One has to wonder how much of his success was attributed to playing alongside Donald & Von. But he's incredibly durable, not missing a game in what 5 seasons? And he's versatile & quick enough to move him around the line & drop him back into coverage. Could be the most impactful signing this offseason which is what we need him to be. GO BILLS
  18. i know its a long offseason, but reading a 6 page Tyrod thread in 2023 is not anything im prepared to do lol. Tentative Tyrod added some level of consistency to the QB spot, and we all know he's a nice guy, but what else should he be "revered" for? lol Its Jim Kelly, Fitz & Josh, with Josh potentially being the best of all of them. Tyrod i guess would be the best of the worst after them? If thats me showing reverence for Tyrod than so be it lol
  19. dont see the need for these extensions right now. Just like i didnt see the need for Dawson Knox's or Ed Oliver's at the time either. There can be benefits to waiting to make these extensions, many discussed in this thread previously. But so much for Sean being on the "hot seat" calling defensive plays this year tho. Looks like we've given him some longer leash to play with. Superbowl or bust but with no option to pivot, really is bust i guess. It doesnt seem we're on an upward ascent, seems we've regressed but with reasons right? lol. If the team takes a step back this year, God's help us. Superbowl or bust.
  20. Cant help but think: this is how teams SB windows close sooner than they should. Beanes choice of extensions & the timing & amount for certain players seems to me at least to be a net negative. I still dont know why we extended Dawson Knox when we didnt have to & the same with Ed. What are we even paying Ed for? To guarantee we at least have a body? Its so stupid, everyone else here has covered it. Best hope i had for Ed this year was him being hungry for that next contract lol. But lets just pay top 11 money to a guy whose been a disappointment so far? Superbowl bound LETS GO! What do i know tho? Ed probably looks like a terror in shorts, showing off that speed that made Beane draft him so high in the 1st place. But can he do it in pads? haha
  21. From the varied responses in this thread from people who know the area, you can see its not an easy decision & every place has pros & cons. I would probably pick some hotel downtown, close to restaurants & you dont really have to worry about rifraff as police are everywhere in the "Entertainment District". You could probably take a shuttle to the stadium or meet up with someone or some tailgating group as well. The alternative idea would be to get like an Air BNB in some quaint village home in East Aurora or Hamburg, Orchard Park & avoid the city of Buffalo altogether. You'll be fine with either choice i imagine & as long as you get to the game & have a good time, you'll be good to go regardless. Its too bad its such a difficult choice tho. And unfortunate our new stadium after decades of a community discussing it, with billions designated for a new stadium, we made next to no attempt to make a more attractive game day experience for fans like yourself. But so go the limits of small town thinking i guess lol. Good luck with ur decision & hope u have fun!
  22. ironic he's the tallest wr on our team now. He's Shorter
  23. Imagine 4 NFL quality rb's on this team, only to not run the ball this year. Sign me up! If Murray wants to come here for veteran minimum than come join the party i guess. But he's not going to give us much of anything we dont already have. For a team that doesnt even run much, getting Murray wont move that needle at all. Would it hurt? No not really. Could it help? Sure. Remains to be seen if we can run the ball at all... or if we'll even try. PS: i dont mean this to sound negative, just one of those days lol
  24. this theory might make sense if we were getting production from sources other than Diggs now but we're not. Thats essentially the crux of the problem. Poor production from wr2, wr3, etc. Diggs is our only truly dependable option & if we got rid of him & added more Gabe Davis's instead, we'd just be dropping the ball... very much like he does. If anything this situation calls for another Diggs to be added to the team (if that were possible). Perhaps theres a solid wr we can add to our team instead?
