  1. up until a couple months ago, Kincaid's average air yards per target were 3.3 yards, amongst the lowest in the league. I got downvoted the most of any post ive ever written for stating that fact. Maybe people thought i was speaking down on him. But its all about how we're using him thats the issue. Throws 3 yards down the field should be high percentage completions. The reasons why should be obvious. Having these plays in our offense are good to have, it gets Josh in a rhythm, 3 yards becomes 5 & 6 etc. But the numbers show Kincaid needs to get the ball more & deeper down the field. As an aside: to me this issue is similar imho to how we were using Cook. The numbers showed he needed more touches & when he did he proved why with good results. Kincaid did the same thing when he broke out with production we havent seen here maybe ever. Perhaps the injury had the greatest affect on him, but now that he's healthy the air yards need to be more around 10 yards than 3. If even only just to open up more of the underneath stuff.
  2. I think we can learn some lessons from Green Bay & their time with Aaron Rodgers & I fear we're making the same mistakes they did assembling teams. Whether you like Aaron or not, he was a Super Bowl winning QB. Josh Allen is that same type of talent. The problem with Green Bay looking back at it is they never made a concerted effort to surround Aaron with enough top notch playmakers. Look at their draft history after Aaron: 2006 rd2 #20 Greg Jennings 2007 rd3 #14 James Jones 2008 rd2 #5 Jordy Nelson 2011 rd2 #32 Randall Cobb 2014 rd2 #21 Davante Adams It wasn't until 2014, 9 years after they drafted Rodgers where they finally found their playmaking wr & one could argue they lucked into him. If you look at our drafting of wr's, it seems to be following the same trend as GB. Not addressing the wr position with any sense of urgency & taking chances on wr's later in the draft. This is a throwing league now, it makes sense to prioritize wr's moreso than this. I hope we don't waste Josh's career here like GB wasted Rodgers. At least in Aaron's case he won a ring. Only thing we've won is this post i guess lol.
  3. Von was back to streaming video games on Twitch last night. I'd take this as a sign he's not going to be playing, but its anyones guess.
  4. i see the BILLS addressing the WR spot in both the draft & FA. Bringing in multiple rookie wr's into this offense at the same time seems like a risky move for next season. It'd be safer from a production standpoint if there were a veteran WR who could step right in & perform from day 1. The need is severe enough for Beane to look everywhere imho.
  5. Miami is getting dinged up at the right time for us to capitalize on it, but thats the crux of it isn't it? We need to capitalize on it. Otherwise we just lost to a team suffering injuries to 3 starters. Week 1 Aaron Rodgers goes out on a cart. Who here isn't thinking we have this one locked up? This team seems to play up or down to its level of competition. Hopefully we come out playing from THE FIRST SNAP like our lives depend on it.
  6. 2 fans 1 cup In all seriousness tho: take a good look at what these Panther fans have to go thru... Losing isn't bad enough, the owner may even throw a drink at you lol.
  7. pretty cool & yes i wouldnt be surprised to see in the future: more options for how we consume the games. At least match it up with what some free streaming sites offer: the ability to change from the home feed's broadcast to the away teams instead. Also when NBCSports 1st revamped their streaming of the game, initially they allowed viewers to choose & select the camera view they watched. For instance endzone cameras or sideline cameras or the "Star" camera, which just follows the 'star' players around. For some reason the streaming service reversed those features, or perhaps they've now been paywalled behind a subscription service? Would make sense. I simply dont know because i get all i want for free elsewhere. But more options & choice in how fans consume the game should be in store eventually. As VR becomes more effective & lives up to its potential: we should see more VR options to watch the games as well. Haptic feedback devices would be pretty sweet. Where you actually feel the hits on the field. Would be pretty cool
  8. doesnt move the needle too much for me but if it makes Brady better at his job than i'm all for it. The last line made me chuckle tho: "the Bills may have stumbled into one of the best offensive coordinator situations in the NFL. " Yeah im not buying this just yet lol. Gonna take DC's gameplanning against what Brady is doing for us to see if he can match it. As others have said, DC's are gameplanning for what they've seen on film to date. But i must say the team hasnt imploded on itself so thats a positive! I think we should play the season out & then evaluate the situation, while keeping an open eye to other coordinators who may become available. Our team may have moved the ball better after Dorsey left but once again: is a rookie OC really the best option for a team in their "Superbowl window"? Are we gonna discount this point once again, only to revisit it again in the future when we fire the OC again next time? Definition of insanity comes to mind lol: trying the same thing but expecting a different result. But hey maybe this time really is different & we really did "luck into the best offensive coordinator situation in the NFL". I mean as BILLS fans we're typically lucky right? Wish them all the best tho because we need them to be. GO BILLS
  9. double, triple team Kelce, force Mahomes to find secondary targets. Pacheco is out so their run game will be worse too. If u take away Pat's 1st read, by the time he finds someone open, hopefully the pass rush has reached him. On offense, if we play mistake free football (as best as possible) and limit our turnovers & negative plays, we SHOULD win this game np. The blueprint to beat KC is to take out Kelce. Lets hope we gameplan to do just that. If we dont, fire the DC.
  10. I cant believe Sean's best example of fostering teamwork is the 9-11 hijackers executing their attack. Like seriously Sean? It just boggles the mind. Much like many of his coaching decisions. This guy is in another world. This story just reaffirms that belief. If this team loses out he gets fired, but theres too much talent on this team for that to happen imho. Curious where more fans would land tho: more likely we win out or lose out? Given the leash it appears Sean has, i'd tend to agree Sean doesnt get fired (even tho he likely should).
  11. If Dodson were truly in the same conversation as Fred Warner, you guys would've gotten his name right. The way i see it, he hasn't been the worst player on defense, but I would've preferred Fred Warner. Especially considering how we only had like 2 LB's going into this season? (I jest) But the way this roster is constructed, aside from Milano the position group is like an afterthought. GO BILLS
  12. if this team were a playoff team, they would've had more of a pulse in the previous must win games that a playoff team should have. This team has shown itself to be exactly as their record shows. Can they win out & make the playoffs? Sure they can. Should we believe that they will do this? Im in the show me camp. So far they've showed me theyre a 6-6 team. If they win out, credit to them & they will have deserved it because they would have earned it. Right now they've earned my doubt lol.
  13. This team has shown over & over again what it is. We've had must win games vs beatable teams that we've choked in. This team is what their record shows. Had the potential for more because we've all seen whats possible. But this record doesnt lie. Please dont get your hopes up lol
  14. there are a few websites out there one can use to get around them. I'll dm you 2 of the ones i use most often to great success.
  15. thats an interesting team stat. Especially for one that just fired their OC. Makes one think the issues are beyond just the offense. But i know weeks 2-4 skewed the numbers too. You take those weeks out & goodbye scoring margin. Also Sean McDermott 7-14 in 7 point games these past 3 years. GO BILLS
  16. either option should be fine. Slight edge to Purdy, given the Bucs are 30th vs the pass.
  17. i'd take Stroud bcuz he's hot & is a lot cheaper for DFS purposes (if thats the fantasy you play). Easier to stack higher priced players around. Thats what my plan is at least. For regular fantasy: i'd still roll with Stroud. Arizona's defense is THE ONE to target. While Hurts very well could take that game over & do well, the odds are Houston will have an easier time. With Nico Collins, Tank Dell, Noah Brown, Dalton Schultz, all nice complimentary pieces this year. All were available in leagues if you were savvy enough to grab em, likely for free on the waiver wire. These are not the Houston Texans of old. Pains me to say they're a rising team that should only get better.
  18. my contribution will be: The Buffalo Butt-Clappers in honor of McDermott clapping nonstop on the sidelines. We all trusted the process & all we have to show for it is a 5-5 record & this thread lol. The Bumbling BILLSY Biotches of Buffalo would be my 2nd choice. Just without the censored version of the word. My friend just suggested: Silly Billies Another just did: BassAkward Bills I suppose when your team implodes on itself like ours has, theres no shortage of options to go with. GO BILLS
  19. I guess we have something else to look forward to this Sunday then. How icky will Ecky be? Tbh these 2 teams are garbage right now, so he'll likely fit right in lol. Your ticket will pay for the whole seat, but you'll only need the edge. (as many will likely leave early) GO BILLS
  20. The problem is us guys. After decades of being synonymous with losing, we have a few winning seasons & as BILLS fans we're all feeling entitled now? Raise your hand if this is one of you. Its our fault for expecting, no demanding an honest hard working team that doesnt embarrass us on Sundays & a team which is as hardworking as the community it represents. If that is me being entitled than i guess I am? While winning & losing may be the only thing that matters to your record, for me its how we lose that frustrates me the most... and who we've lost to. An offensive scheme with progressions that make no sense. Playcalling that doesnt put your players in the best position to succeed. Players/coaches losing focus at crucial moments. A QB that looks lost, heck the whole team & coach look lost. Penalties & turnovers & self-made mistakes. The players loss of composure & confidence when any adversity occurs in game. From a higher level: 2 years in a row where our aging defense is decimated with injuries, perhaps we need to get younger? Poor drafting, poor coaching hires, poor contract extensions etc. But its our fault for being entitled haha. We're just a witness to this bs, we dont have as much of an impact on the team's success or failures as one may think. Even if we were entitled (which i dont think we are, given we're BILLS fans & all we've endured) it wouldnt change the fact that this team has major issues & we're all simply witnesses to it.
  21. His catch % should be high for crying out loud, his air yards are among the lowest of the league. It SHOULD be easier to catch a pass thrown 3 yards beyond the LOS. After the last couple games his air yards have grown from around 3 to 4.4, so the difficulty is starting to go up lol. But yes it is nice to see someone besides Stephon being able to catch the ball. And its nice to finally see Kincaid being used more than 3 yards down the field.
  22. During your Superbowl window, you want your 1st year backup rb to take the reigns & lead this team. We just need to trust the process! After how this season has gone where we struggle vs the worst teams, JETS, GIANTS, PATs, WTFs etc, no game is "easy" at this point... not even Denver. My how the mighty have fallen. It remains to be seen if the people responsible for this mess are capable of rectifying it. So far they havent been & most of the time in life with this situation those people simply CANT. Its just not easy for people to admit mistakes, to honestly evaluate their decisions with no bias & make corrections. Can these guys do it? So far the answer is no. Aside from this team imploding on itself, Beane has given questionable extensions to many of his draft picks, seemingly doubling down on questionable draft choices to begin with. Rn its looking like we need a new OC, DC & HC, with possibly a new GM if no changes are made. But 2 out of those 4 are a necessity at this point. MCD mightve been the right coach to turn this ship around when he got here, doesnt mean he's the right coach to win us a SB. If im a young HC growing into the role, i'd think it wiser to staff a DC so you could fully concentrate on being a HC. Rn it looks as if McD bit off more than he could chew. Rn it looks as if a rookie OC wasnt the right choice for a team competing for a Superbowl. Rn this team looks to be in complete shambles. Imagine that.
  23. its insane seeing all the draft capital we've spent on the dline, only to still need to draft dline bcuz the guys we've drafted suck. Definition of insanity comes to mind here. Perhaps we should just trade or go to FA for our dline, since we're incapable of drafting for the position? Floyd stands out from all the guys we've brought in, (Von excluded but even that is worrisome atm) but what do we have to show for the years of drafting for the position? Theres plenty of other areas we could use our draft capital on, for other needs. Perhaps we'll have better luck drafting for those? Also the extensions Beane has handed out have handcuffed this roster. Dawson Knox didnt need an extension when we gave him one for instance. Ed Oliver etc. Its hard to expect the people who created this mess are capable of rectifying it. Time will tell i suppose. GO BILLS
  24. I hear Belichick is available I'd be stoked with Harbaugh tho. Those 49ers teams were resilient & found ways to win. Played true complimentary football. Seemed he gets the most out of his players. I'd prefer a coach like him to another unproven. Too much is on the line to try rookie coordinators & coaches imho
  25. Simply put the talent is there, we know this. The issue then becomes about how we're using them & for that the blame goes to our coaches. Easy who to point the finger at, Sean & Dorsey should go. Wont happen, Dorsey will be the fall guy for this season but if this team implodes maybe the pressure on Beane gets hot enough that Sean gets the axe. Whatever the case this is unacceptable & like the coaches say: there needs to be accountability... and that needs to start at the top.
