Jets are drafting Jeudy or Lamb, I think we would've preferred they re-sign Robbie & draft OL in the 1st.

We weren't getting Diggs for less than a 1st round pick, period. Minnesota didn't HAVE to trade him, but they were willing to for the right return value. The late picks are just sweeteners, who would have very little chance of making the team in Buffalo. We paid the going rate, which is a fair price. If you ask me, we're lucky a team with a higher 1st rounder wasn't in on the bidding.

We're highly likely to draft a WR in rounds 2-4, who will likely be the WR4. Any FA we brought in would be fighting for the WR4 spot at best. I don't see us adding any more WRs, other than the draft.

I think Dawkins is an above-average LT, say 70th percentile. Yeah, he had some gaffs in the playoff game, but still a solid player. I agree he isn't worth top-5 LT money, hopefully he'll follow Spain's lead & take a reasonable deal. Otherwise, we're either paying a FA LT top dollar, trying to draft a rookie with a likely very late 1st rounder, or going back to having a bad LT situation.

I sure hope Diggs takes #14, I have an old Sammy jersey that could use a new nameplate.

Keep in mind that Feliciano & Ford were playing hurt for much of the season & needed surgery after. Morse wasn't right for much of the year too. Our OL is better than they showed last year.

I doubt any of these guys get signed prior to the draft. That said, Hyde is the best remaining by a lot. If he can be had for $4-5M after the draft, sign me up.

Totally agree on Taylor & Dobbins, they're both much better than Melvin Gordon & can be had in the 2nd round. I like Clyde, but he's too much like Singletary to a be complimentary back to him.

The playcalling didn't help. Running 2-3 sweeps per game which averaged -3 yards certainly affects the bottom line...

If we added Higgins, he'd be unlikely to even make the team unless he plays Special Teams. He'd be the WR5 behind our big-3 & a rookie.

I went nuts when we signed TO & Merriman, even though they were shells of their former all-pro selves. Crazy times, glad they're behind us.

Assuming you mean Donald, he's one of the highest paid DL in the league. Not to mention, he'd cost at least a 1st rounder, which we don't have. No way we take on a $25M cap hit & give up a future 1st. Fake News

Hyde would be a solid vet add, he's an upgrade from Gore talent-wise. He could still be available after the draft, not many teams jumping to add a 30yr old RB.

Hooper is now the highest paid TE in the league, that's not a smart contract & I'm glad it's not us. You don't pay that to a guy who's not top-5 at his position & build for the long term.

Raiders have two 1st rounders, and one of them will be Lamb/Ruggs/Jeudy. They've made some decent FA pick-ups too, can't sleep on them.

Guys need to understand that we weren't getting Jeudy or Ruggs without giving up two 1st rounders. And even if we did that, there's no guarantee that they'll be as good as Diggs, plus it'd take them 2 years to get there if they did. At 22, we'd have been looking at Tee Higgins at best. Either way, Diggs for #22 & change is our best bet, and our window to strike is now.

What if we had traded #22 & next years 1st to move up & grab CeeDee Lamb? Would anybody really rather have that over Diggs for #22 & a couple late picks?

I'd say only Chicago is desperate. Jags have 2 decent QBs, Miami will be drafting one in the top-5 & plus Fitz, Detroit has either Stafford or can draft one at #3.

I don't expect Phillips to get much interest from other teams during the 1st wave of FA, I bet it'll be days before this plays out. I'd love him back on a Spain-type deal.
