Won $100 on 3 contests totaling $20 in UFC Draftkings last night. Would likely have won $100 more if the Vieira/Petrosyan fight had not been scratched mid-card. 😒

Dispensaries are like gas stations here in Vermont. There are 6 within a 20 minute drive of my house and a new one that is about to open. I think it’s legal to grow up to 6 plants. I have a guy that will deliver whatever I want directly to my front door. Pretty sweet.

I do not ski or snowboard, however, I live about 10 minutes away from Pico and Killington Mountains. My daughter is on the Pico ski race team, and my wife/daughter/son all have season passes to Pico. They go to Killington 4-5 times a season, and sometimes venture out to Sugarbush, Stratton and Okemo. I get lots of peace and quiet on the weekends during the winter time which is fine by me! 😉

SU reported lower body injury and out indefinitely. I hope it’s not the same knee he shredded last season. 🫤

What’s up with Chance Westry? I still haven’t heard about the nature/severity of his injury.

I’ve always been an Anchor Bar defender. Not good by Buffalo standards, but plenty good enough if you don’t know better. It’s all about perspective. I’ve been there several times throughout the years, and always had solid wings. This past February, my wife got me Sabres tix for my birthday. It was my kids’ first time visiting Buffalo, so I thought I’d bring them to the Anchor Bar mainly for the experience. It was a disaster. The wings were horrible. It was almost as if they were sitting under the heat lamp for 15 minutes before the waitress brought them out, and the restaurant was not busy at all. The wings (Buffalo mild) also had a strange, funky odor to them. It was bizarre. I don’t think I’ll ever go back. The next day right after the game, we went to Gabriel’s Gate and had some AMAZING wings. It was well worth the 45 minute wait to get a table.

My trousers just got a little snug in the front. When I was in HS in the late 90s our “ISS monitor” was a mid 20s semi-attractive young lady. Not as cute as this woman, but plenty attractive enough for horny teenaged boys. It was fairly widely known that she had slept with several male students. One of them was a close friend of mine. I wonder if she ever got caught. 🤔

I was listening to a MMA podcast earlier in the week, and one of the dudes said that Volk wasn’t officially in a training camp, but he essentially was training as such bc he knew he was “on deck” for this event.

This didn’t go so well. 😂 Stacking the main event was a mistake. I genuinely thought Volk would hang in there for 5 and score well with his striking volume. Victor Henry with the DQ nut shot. Whataya gonna do about that? 🤷🏾‍♂️ What a strange card….

My core DFS lineup for UFC 294. Again, I play “multiplier” contests (e.g., $10 contest - top 3/35 win $100). Islam Makhachev Alex Volkanovski Victor Henry Nathaniel Wood Said Nurmagomedov Victoria Dudokova Stacked the main event bc I think Volk is going to score well even in a loss. Henry is my punt play with good finishing upside. I love this lineup with heavy wrestling upside. I’ve been hitting on these pretty regularly. Feel free to tail. There are contests as cheap as $1 if you’re just wanting to get your beak wet. Cheers 🍻

You people amaze me. Beane brings in a stud blue chip FA to freaking ***** hole Buffalo, NY and fans rejoice and sing his praises. The poor guy shreds his knee (purely coincidentally), is playing but not fully up to game speed after 2 games, and now Beane is culpable for a move that may or may not work out… Y’all are fickle….and churlish.

Or a great pick up marred by a horrific injury? He looked absolutely incredible before injury. 🤔

How was he bad in coverage? For the two completions I saw him give up he was in the receiver’s hip pocket. I think he allowed 3 total completions in coverage, but I’m not 100% sure. Both were just excellent passes, IMO. Dropped right in the bucket. What did you notice that I didn’t?

I see Elam getting bashed today on social media. He didn’t stick out to me as playing poorly.

Jeez! It’s been 2 games and people are already in doom and gloom mode. 😂 I’ve watched both games. Some good stuff mixed in with some sloppiness. I fully expect things to come together for this squad. Love how they clawed back against a very frustrating Islanders team. Love how that 3rd line is playing so well. Agree with those who are a bit frustrated with the Thompson line. I remain optimistic.

FWIW, I truly think their travel plans are going to negatively affect them. I was hoping they would fly to London on Tuesday so they’d have plenty of time to get acclimated to the time change.

Not sure about that, but I’m sure you could find out what your blackout restrictions are by calling customer service. Do you know anyone in your area that has ESPN+? If so, they also might be able to speak to that. I get why the Bruins/Sabres games are blacked out here, but I don’t understand why the Rangers games are also. Most people here hate everything NYC related. Might as well live in Massachusetts.
