  1. I wasn’t overly concerned initially. Even after seeing a few false reports (trolls) about the nature/severity of Cole’s injury on social media. The report was that his arm was heavily wrapped (I assumed ice), and that he left the field but remained at practice. These were some promising “clues” to me. Given that nothing has been made public, I’m growing a bit more worried. Especially with the day off today.
  2. https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/digicert-mass-revoking-tls-certificates-due-to-domain-validation-bug/amp/ For those of you who need CliffsNotes. I read the OP twice and still didn’t fully understand what this was about.
  3. Yeah, those housewives shows are low-grade garbage, IMHO. Just for the record, before I get lamb-basted here, I don’t condone or encourage ANY cruelty to animals. 😂 I am a dog person too though. 😊
  4. My wife watches that show in the guest bedroom with the door closed. I can’t stand to even listen. Sounds like a bag of cats in the dryer. 😖🤮
  5. One of my friends who’s a few years older than me (around 50) is doing Ozempic. He told me he had been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, and that may be true, but I think he just wanted to shed some weight. He ended up losing around 30 pounds in just under a year. He told me that the medicine essentially makes him nauseous when he eats (and sometimes when he just thinks about food), and often he needs to vomit after meals. I found this to be very weird and a little bit alarming. He said when he knows he is going to have a big meal such as out to dinner with his wife or going to a BBQ he needs to skip a dose. I don’t know about all this, but who am I to judge. He said he feels the best he has felt in 20 years.
  6. I meant that “performance art” stuff like CdS and Blue Man Group isn’t usually my thing. 😂 Butt head.
  7. I kind of hated Vegas the last time I visited in the summer time. Just too hot to enjoy anything. The one thing that I did enjoy was eating a crap ton of edibles and going to see the Cirque du soliel Beatles show. I went bc my wife really wanted to see it, but it ended up being incredible.
  8. Gin and tonic or gin and grapefruit juice is my go-to summer time cocktail.
  9. If I drink more than 8 or 9 gin & tonics that just means that I need to drive with one eye closed so the lines aren’t blurry.
  10. I love to eat roast duck. I order it almost every time I see it on the menu. If I could I’d clobber a few of those suckers over the head with a tire iron to take them home and cook them. The little ones are so damn cute though. These 2 little buggers (no mama duck in sight) were crossing the road from the woods to a pond. I wonder what they were even doing in the thickly forested area across the road. Could that be where their nest is? What do baby ducks eat?
  11. HFBD Boyst! 🍻🎉
  12. I would prefer to be in the stadium for every single game. Given that I live in Vermont and have two kids that play winter sports (hockey & ski team), however, it is almost impossible to make it to more than one game per season. If I lived closer I would most definitely have season tix.
  13. Sounds like Jimmy Spags!
  14. My kids love frozen watermelon. It kind of has the texture/flavor of Italian ice.
  15. I was wondering about the increased heat/humidity. Not sure about all areas of the country, but we’ve had rain just about every day here in Vermont. Record rainfalls and flooding on a couple days. Ponds, wetlands, river and streams are all overflowing. One other possible factor is all the road construction on the chunk of Rt 7 that I drive multiple times/week. They’re replacing one bridge and resurfacing the roads in many areas. That must have the animals all f’ed up. I said 3 quacked of contritions and moved on.
  16. Been seeing lots of dead porcupines by the side of the road this spring/summer. Coincidence?
  17. Intetestingly, I’ve never hit a bird until recently. Smoked like 5 of those bast-ahds in the spring. Not proud if it, but why you hate my Subaru Outback so much, birds?
  18. Was driving home from my son’s lacrosse practice, and two of them zipped right in front of me as I was going around a sharp corner. One made it, but the other I greased. I feel awful. Thoughts and prayers accepted. 🦆 💀
  19. Bridges. John Wayne was corny as hell, IMO (ducks).
  20. My brother in law, who is a huge Bills fan and lives in Rochester, has two sons (11 & 8 years old) who are both Chiefs fans. I give him a lot of credit. He has a good sense of humor and is a great dad. He even took them both to the playoff game last year fully decked out in KC gear. 😂
  21. Great movie. Not for the faint of heart or easily offended though. I recall when this came out hearing that many of the actors were also professional skateboarders. Not sure if true. The final scene with Casper and Jennie is tough to watch. 😬
  22. Not necessarily representing my high school experience in the late 90s, but Superbad is a hilarious movie about high school life.
  23. I’ve had to disengage from Sabres social media this weekend (especially Twitter or X). Absolutely brutal. Every time the Sabres posted to “introduce” a new draft pick the comments were relentlessly negative and ridiculous. It’s tough to see. I hope these young players aren’t reading this stuff. 😝
  24. Myself and a couple buddies got club seats a few years back and did not have a good experience at all. If you like to stand up and cheer during critical/exciting moments in the game, be prepared to be reprimanded to “get down in front” by all the lame snobs behind you. I’d rather sit in the nose bleeds. Never again. Just my opinion. I’m sure many folks prefer to sit for the entire game. 🤷🏾‍♂️
