Respectfully disagree. Imagine if the Bills were in that same spot on 4th and 3 and we were about to punt to Mahomes with a minute and a half left only needing a FG. This board would lose its mind when Mahomes inevitably wins the game on a FG. The Ravens defense was getting carved up by Allen all 4th quarter, you have to play the situation. You have Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson. That is so hard to defend, and they were gashing us all game on the ground. You easily fake the handoff to Henry let Lamar roll out and either make a quick dump off or just run for the first. That had a better chance to succeed than punting the ball back to the MVP who was on fire with over a minute left needing only a FG. If I am going down, I am doing it with the ball in my best players hands not on the backs of a defense getting gashed an entire quarter. Just my 2 cents.

Maybe I am mixing up the play, its possible, yesterday was a roller coaster but I thought that was to Shakir. Still do, but I am open to being mistaken about that of course. No disrespect, and we are all entitled to our opinions, but this is an over exaggeration of our WR room IMHO. One, Coleman played at a higher level than WR3 yesterday, and was a WR1 type player for us and made big plays when we needed them. Doesn't make him a WR1 yet, still lots to prove over the season, but you don't even have him to be a WR2 which is wild considering he is a starting WR and the WR1 for a SB favorite right now. But also, this is a pretty disrespectful description of Shakir too because I think you are greatly over looking how many massive and critical plays Shakir made for this team the last 2 years and he has clearly established himself as Josh's most trusted and go to weapon in key moments. And Shakir made more of those plays yesterday too. I know we don't have a Chase or Jefferson on this team, but I feel like some of you overly discredit the guys we do have because or your desire for someone you view as elite.

This was the most yards by a Buffalo WR since... ... ... ...Keon last year in week 7. I will give you that he was pretty bad after the injury, but before the injury, the previous 5 full games after his 1st quarter benching for being late in week 3, he was on an 1100 yard season pace. He had started coming on and building more momentum including a 125 yard game in week 7. So he wasn't awful the whole year last year even though he was pretty bad after injury. Still this is one game, he didn't cement anything yesterday either. But this is a great start and looks a lot more like the guy we saw those 5 weeks before the injury who has taken another step forward.

For those saying he was crap for 3 quarters because of his yardage total - well watch the game again. He was open and didn't get the ball several times during those 3 quarters and also our play calling was crap through 3 quarters as well. For example - 3rd and goal, Allen had Keon on the left for 6 when he beat his guy off his cut. Allen threw short to his left instead and didn't see Keon and we settled for a FG. Our offense didn't find a rhythm until the 4th quarter, and there were a lot of terrible 2nd and 3rd down calls that killed drives, caused 3 and outs, etc.

I like Benford a lot, but I think you wee see he easily should have had 3 or 4 flags thrown on him last night. But, that being said, some of those plays still resulted in a positive outcome like the Hopkins TD for the Ravens. There were bigger missed PI calls on the Ravens that killed drives for us. End of the day though, both teams got away with a lot of PI non-calls though

There were a lot of missed calls by the refs tonight, especially PI, but it was on both sides of the ball. Ravens got a away with a lot of PI throughout the game -- but also so did we, Benford for example should have been called for PI/Holding several times, including a big 3rd down stop where the ball was over thrown but the replay shows Benford was holding the WR by the horse collar most the route which was prob why the ball was over thrown. Even on the Hopkins TD he was holding Hopkins left arm for like 5 yards on that catch. But, like I said, refs some important PI calls on both sides, so it balanced out, although I do think that some of the PI calls they missed on the Ravens hurt us more as they were on some pretty important downs that led to drives ending.

Wait for real? The same lady? Was that confirmed because last I saw she had not been correctly identified yet? Did they finally figure out the correct person? I know there were several people misidentified as her along the way.

A big part of that was the way Brady was calling the game. Way too many behind the LOS and short throws - and not because they were dump offs, they were immediate quick strike play calls. Our biggest issue offensively this game had a lot to do with how Brady was calling the game. But credit to him as they eventually adjusted and things got a lot better. Guys made plenty of individual plays, and the one by Shakir you’re mentioning wasn’t a drop. Allen threw the ball directly to Kyle Hamilton leading Shakir -- and maybe the best safety in the game hit Shakir and hit him early on what should have been PI. To call that a drop by Shakir is wild to me. Coleman didn’t step out of bounds he was shoved out of bounds trying to adjust for Allen while he was escaping pressure. And on the next 2 point try, not only was their PI by Wiggins, but that was a bad throw by Allen and one I assure you Allen wants back. Coleman is covered by Wiggins on a fade route and has a huge size advantage over Wiggins, the entire reason they went to Keon on that try. But Allen threw a flat bullet right at his midsection where Wiggins was able to disrupt the play instead of putting the ball (like he was supposed to) where Keon can use his size advantage and grab the ball. Allen was upset with himself after that 2 pt attempt even. More importantly, it was a terrible play call, even the announcers said it -- why throw the fade there and take away Allens super powers of having his legs and size as an additional way to convert. To just snap and chuck a fade is a coin flip type play, just a terrible call on such an important 2 point conversion attempt. No disrespect, but how can you say this when Palmer showed it multiple times including some key routes and catches during our come back? That being said, on the INT that got overturned for hitting the ground, I have no idea WTF Palmer was doing on that play, he made no effort on the ball to even prevent the INT attempt or catch and didn't react until he thought the ball was picked off. That looked like he had a total mental lapse on that play and not sure if that was some confusion or miscue between him and Josh or what. But I was pissed at Palmer on that play for sure. I think the chemistry is going to continue to grow, and Coleman was getting open earlier in the game too, including on 3rd and goal where Allen could have hit him for 6 but threw it elsewhere and we had to settle for a FG. I think it just took a while for the offense to settle and Brady to adjust in this game.

Lamar was way in the right here. That fan should be banned for life at this and the new stadium. Unacceptable, same fan hit Hopkins too before Lamar which is part of why Lamar responded after he hit him too. And what ever a**hole threw the water bottle at Derrick Henry on his last TD run as he entered the end zone needs to be banned from both stadiums for life too. Bunch of idiots acting like this is Philly

Lamar was incredible tonight. Allen is IMHO better, but let’s not pretend Lamar doesn’t have an argument for himself either. But - Lamar (not tonight) has played below his standards in multiple playoff losses where Allen is the best ever in several playoff passing categories. So Allen earned his edge over Lamar, but tonight had nothing to do with it, Lamar was excellent.

Doesn’t make him the right choice for us. Keon was on pace for a better season prior to injury despite less target opportunity here. There has never been a moment where Worthy was the right pick and fit for us.

There was never a single moment where Worthy was the correct pick for the Bills and their needs. Still true now, just as it was true on draft night. It’s wild this is even still discussed. PS - Keon was on pace for a better season than Worthy and on pace for 1,000 yards before he got hurt as a rookie. And that was on a spread the ball around offense where he was not a primary target as a rookie. Worthy was a starter the whole season and essentially the 2nd option on that team with Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes. The Bills are a better football team with Keon on it today than if Worthy was on it instead.

I called the Chiefs regressing during the offseason and would see their 7 year run in the AFCCG come to an end. But that being said, it’s still just the first week, it was against a hungry and tough divisonal opponent and they were down two of their weapons. So while the loss is great for our AFC 1 seed pursuit, come Tuesday, one of the other top contenders for the 1 seed will be tied with them at 0-1 between the Ravens or Bills. So I wouldn’t be writing KC off just yet either.

No disrespect but what your response was to what I said really doesn’t make sense.

QB gets more credit and more blame than they should in wins and losses. Thats the name of the game. The narrative right now is that Lamar chokes because Lamars stats are worse in these playoff losses than they are in the regular season. His playoff stats in general, even factoring in the wins, are worse than the regular season. Allen has the best stats in NFL history in the post season across many categories. There is a distinct difference of when you play your best and worst football of the season, and too many times Lamar has made mistakes. The bolded above - you just made an excuse for a self inflicted turnover by Lamar, that is a devastating mistake, and won that easily contributed significantly to the Ravens loss with the fumble you said was "Lamar trying to make something out of nothing". That is a mistake no matter how you cut it, and the kinds of mistakes that don't happen with guys like Brady, Mahomes, etc who have dominated the AFC the past 2 eras as often in big moments. Case in point - Josh Allen did this too much, hence his tendency for turnovers, but he doesn't do it in the playoffs. In fact his TD-TO ration in the postseason is the best in NFL history if I am not mistaken. Lamar - not so much. Allen had to stop pressing when plays arent there and realize its better to not force the issue and just take a sack or throw away and live to fight another down. Lamar pressing trying to make something happen out of nothing cost his team the ball in a close game. That is a big mistake, and one Lamar has made too many times in playoff losses. That is why there is the narrative on Lamar, he factually plays worse in the postseason than his MVP regular seasons.

How far off the line he is playing is what the DC called. Elam doesn't just elect to play that far off the line on his own, and all the DB's are playing off the line, you can see it in the still even before the snap. 2nd, that deep shot was actually pretty good coverage, but it was an elite throw that was in a place only the WR can catch the ball without the DB interfering. Overall on the night, Elam was pretty solid and drew praise multiple times from the crew announcing the game too. I am not here to defend Elam by any means, but this narrative by these tweets feels more agenda based than accurate discussion of his play. He didn't make the pro-bowl last night, but he played well enough to see why he won the starting job. And the Dallas defense actually played pretty good considering, especially in the passing game. Cowboys should have won that game if not for "CeeDee'z Balls Hit The Ground" drops, which I counted 3 at least including 2 of the offenses final drive where they could have taken the lead and would have both been huge gains and put them in scoring position with less the 4 min to go in the game. Elam was not a fit here, so good trade for us if its not going to work out here, get some value back. But, also no need to hold on to bias now that he is gone either.
