  1. Past hour
  2. Prater is making 89.5 percent of his FG attempts this year, which is better than any season of Bass's: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/B/BassTy00.htm. As for XPs, Prater is at 91.9 percent this year (low for him, but a couple of doinked uprights), while Bass was at 92.2 percent last year. Indistinguishable on that front, really, and if Prater makes his next two XPs, he'll be better than Bass was last year.
  3. I mean, the guy is a clinician first, I wouldn't really call him someone who writes for a living. Unless I'm mistaken and he's no longer a clinician? I also thought Bass had osteitis pubis. Nasty thing to have, but surgery is pretty unusual unless it's a really bad case.
  4. 😂😂that could sooo easily be called illegal contact
  5. Kind of a pet peeve, but it's pretty embarrassing that someone who writes for a living wrote that a player "got" surgery. You have surgery.
  6. Bishop's out of nowhere improvement is the storyline of the season for me. It's not like he went from below average to functional, he skyrocketed into one of the best young safeties in the entire league starting the week of the KC game and hasn't looked back. The Bosa strip sack happened in part because Bishop took the air out of Metcalf's route and covered him up long enough for Bosa to get home. Bishop was hung out to dry with Benford on a CB blitz and answered the bell. Not the best angle but you can kind of see it on the broadcast footage:
  7. The 9-8 teams usually slip through as division winners. KC def is not winning the division.
  8. Fair enough except I don't believe blowing up boats is going to work. As long as demand and price are high, the cartels will find a way. Emphasis should be on decreasing demand. The targets are relatively easy to identify. OD deaths are concentrated in impoverished areas with few decent jobs.
  9. I bet we don't hear anything definitive until spring.
  10. Jacksonville has a pretty easy route also. Colts x 2, Titans, Jets and Broncos. Assuming they can match up with the Colts.
  11. I mean, aside from that drive he didn't do much. Even the Steelers looked like they couldn't be stopped on that one drive yesterday.
  12. We are planning on coming up for the last regular season game against the Jets, I am trying to figure out what dates to reserve flights/hotels for the game. Does anyone know when we will get the date/time from the NFL?
  13. I understand, kind of. I'm not into the shootout-type games ( like the 41-40 game with Balt). That's entertainment, not football IMHO. It's the playoffs & the Bills are going to have 3, perhaps only 2 games to get to the SB. The flawed Bills will play the other flawed teams. Cincy is 4-8, headed toward 6-11. No way they make the playoffs.
  14. Your avatar is looking lovely today. I have no idea if he has enough left to be helpful, but it’s kinda cool that the Vikes gave the long time vet what he wanted.
  15. Sure, ok there big guy. Don't have a valid argument so you gotta turn to insults? Sound argument
  16. Great. Talking bad about my Section 6C JFK Bears!
  17. Guys no. Stop. We can’t keep doing this. We have enough JAGs. We need some stability and cohesion with Josh/the playbook.
  18. You're more suited to be a Dolphins fan.
  19. Actually I think our pass D has been mostly great all year and it's really because of the way Beane and McDermott have built the team with such a focus on the back 7. It's part of the reason I feel more confident playing teams like the Bengals and Chiefs than I do the Ravens since our run D has been a huge issue.
  20. I have been saying this for a while. Joe is right. The first 4 or 5 weeks he was a disaster. Since then he has been really good.
  21. Our defense is fine, it's been ~average all year despite losing a ton of man hours to injury
  22. it would make no sense to compare any top NY high school team to 150 other NY schools. The topic here is the game pitting the top 2 Catholic schools. the fact that Iona has a kid headed to NC doesn’t mean the quality of the game was better. But yes comparing to Texas or Georgia etc is what I was getting at. It’s not at that high school level…
  23. "I've never seen a team run the same play as much as they ran it tonight and had as much success as they had." - TJ Watt (4:34 in the video below): https://youtu.be/apzc-hp0unM?si=uIOdYCJ-sb562rE4 Is that an indictment on Joe Brady? Is that a good thing? I'm trying to figure out how TJ Watt claims their defensive guys are so good, yet he's almost distancing himself from the issue. But I couldn't watch a lot of the game yesterday, so was it really this bad? Did the offense look simple but still had success?
  24. Worth a shot, he is a slot WR. I believe Phidarian Mathis is still on the 53. Cut him and sign Thielen.
