  1. Past hour
  2. Obviously we need immigrants who are willing to work hard at providing the services our families need. And this kind of nursing home/home care job is, unfortunately, one that we really can't seem to find native-born citizens to do. Yes, banning legal and illegal immigration will drive up wages, and maybe some native Americans will apply, and maybe some will do a good job for a much higher wage. And then we'll all pay a lot more for old age care.
  3. LOL how do i use the block function on this site .... being silly, but seriously... HOW? HOW DO I FIND THAT BUTTON?
  4. our lbs are too small, slight etc...get lbs bigger than 225lbs.
  5. Therein lies the problem. I don’t want to discourage you, but at your age I don’t see it ever happening. At least you have company with c-section.
  6. I mean... he does kinda look like pre-hair plug Tommy. 🤷‍♂️
  7. As bad as things have looked recently, this is the type of game the Bills have consistently won, and won big, under McDermott…I think that will continue on Sunday.
  8. Sure... I understand all that and it's definitely true... But a missed tackle is a missed tackle... We had a shot and we missed... And that is killing us... To compound the problem we are also seeing a spike in multiple missed tackles on the same play...
  9. It's the Sunday nite game, so hopefully I'll be blind drunk at the bar when the game's on.
  10. I actually dig the OP. Interesting point being made about how others perform in your absence, and a great way for ppl in management roles or pushing to obtain that type of role. With that said, I think the bolded is a very unfair way to evaluate a coach. If you're trying to evaluate/differentiate between a handful of guys jockeying for GOAT HC? That'd be a great evaluator. If you're trying to figure out if you have a "good" HC or not, this is a pretty horrible measuring stick. There's been a lot of elite HC's, but only a handful that have had a coaching tree, let alone a successful coaching tree. Belicheck is considered in the conversation for GOAT (less so now than 5 years ago). Even if you went back 5-8 years ago and used this as a measuring stick for him, it would've shown us what we know better today. The only asterisk I'd add there is he was such an arrogant s***head, that I think he intentionally gatekept his best trademark secrets, so that nobody could go on to become competitive against him elsewhere down the road. Basically, set them up for failure by omission. But again, thats an ugly selfish trait to have, and kinda reverts back to what we know better about him now.
  11. I'm still a Tamara Walcott fan. No woman with a ***** will ever be able to steal my affections. I have on several occasions explained the structure of a joke or laugh line to you.
  12. No she doesn’t, but I wouldn't care if she did. Most immigrants come here with little money, so they live in low income, higher crime areas. It’s always been that way. I’ve worked my butt off and am fortunate to not live in those areas. If you don’t like where you live, then move - it’s the American way. Now down the road in our neighborhood is a more established black immigrant extended family with a pile of people living together. I know one of the guys is a garbage truck driver and a woman works in health care as an aide. I think they moved in for the school district for their kids. They fit in fine and have done a nice job fixing up their house.
  13. Missed tackles are a symptom…the cause is smaller, slower, athletically inferior players who get to the ball late and are physically out-manned when they do arrive…
  14. I can't argue with Joe, he's really spot on with all his analysis week after week. IMO - get healthy and get players on the field. Really assess positional performance and swallow some ground truth. As such i love # 6. - Love # 4 . Schopp and Bulldog poo poo this, but go watch the old K gun. We ran screens all the time. We need the short passing game back and YAC back. Shakir needs to be running the Beasley type routes more often, especially when pressure / blitz is heavy. Use run action when the run isn't cooking....not always so much high risk deep shots. "Workout trade idea" idea - i like it, but I'm looking for a safety too. Now i know we cant afford A list talent here, but maybe between both we can get something done. Shaheed doesnt break the bank and has tons of upside.
  15. I am always open to improvement. Can you point them out?
  16. I mean, you can't grind the clock and hide your defense if you go havin' a bunch of quick scoring plays all the time...
  17. Oh, I had a couple of zingers there. Too edgy for you. Yes, I get it. You are probably still chuckling over that AI Trump in a Crown dumping feces on the No Kings protesters? Now that was The Peoples' Humor.
  18. I think I owe you an apology. When you said “I am waiting for you first ever humorous response.” (let’s ignore the 4th&long-like grammatical error) was that an indication that your responses in this thread were supposed to be humorous? That got past me completely. That’s really more on you than me, but I apologize nonetheless.
  19. This does nothing to dispel conspiracy theorists
  20. If I could turn the page In time then I'd rearrange just a day or two Close my, close my, close my eyes But I couldn't find a way So I'll settle for one day to believe in you Tell me, tell me, tell me lies Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies Tell me lies Tell me, tell me lies Oh no-no, you can't disguise You can't disguise No, you can't disguise Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies
  21. You should set up a private XX powerlifting club for them.
  22. Football feels a lot easier to affect the outcome of than most other sports. You get a lot more possessions/chances in basketball. A crooked football ref at any level could call holding at a key moment and totally derail a drive. It doesn't even need to be a big moment. A holding call that kills a promising 1st quarter drive could be a major factor later in a close game. You only get so many possessions in football. A drive killing penalty here or there totally changes the game. And you can call holding almost every play. It's so subjective. Same with pass interference. The effect of any 1 call in football is so much more impactful than almost any other sport. A theoretical crooked football ref (at any level) who stops 7 points from being scored by Team A in a sport where 23-17 is a typical score output , is lowering Team A's point total by as much as 25-30%. That's like a basketball ref directly stopping a basketball team from scoring 20-30 points.
  23. Probably better than the odds of it not happening.
  24. What is the difference between Tyler Bass and Matt Prater?
