Beane needs his credit for oline depth ...

I had already assumed it would be really hard to keep Vandy around in 2026 given the other OL contracts in play and the fact Grable was ahead of him when healthy. Maybe now he will get a good enough contract elsewhere that it yields something in the comp pick formula. The offseason O-line decisions are going to be very interesting. -

How any maroon here can criticize either the Bills for not passing when they ran for over 250 yards, or Anderson (other than the dumb false starts) when he and the O line wiped people out all day, or a dominant second half outscoring the opposition 23-0 defies any common sense and is sbsurd. -
Is Joe Brady the main issue on offense?
DisplacedBillsFan replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well, considering we have nearly as many TDs through the air as we do on the groundā¦yes. Just because it doesnāt pass your eye test doesnāt mean itās bad football. Sure, we have areas to improve. Every team does. The statistics say weāre a top offense. Iād venture a guess that no other fanbase in the league would be as pissy as this one is about an 8-4 team. The negativity on this board is both mind blowing and mind numbing. -
Remember Mike Gillislee and Fat Karlos? They looked like Shady. Kromer is working magic again. Brady stinks. No passing offense should ever look this bad even with the players he has. Certainly not with Allen.

On the brighter side... Former UB great Jaret Patterson was elevated off the practice squad today by the Chargers, ran for 55 on 11 carries and scored his first TD in 4 years.

Did anyone else see the switch flip with Josh Allen?

I haven't seen him or Cook doing the smelling salts thing lately -
Maybe we see that vaunted Bills pass rush like we had against KC....what are the odds? Are they gonna use this Fox dude?

Heyward claims Josh hit him in the gut with a knee on purpose and the jawing back and forth which pissed him off. -
Ravens got away from the running game after Henry was gashing them and got a long TD in the first quarter. I'm not sure he even got a carry in the 2nd quarter. Somehow (and this is baffling to me), the Bengals have a worse running defense than we do. Run the ball.

Personal foul for unsportsmanlike conduct on Metcalf after Pittsburgh TD. Ref goes to McDermott. Penalty will be enforced on the kickoff. Nope. Canāt be enforced on the kickoff. So Boswell kicks a 33 yard extra point instead of a 48 yard extra point. And Pitt kicks off as if no penalty whatsoever had been called. But wait. Stenatore says it can be enforced on the kickoff! What a cluster****. Can anyone make sense of any of this?

Bengals are a different team with Burrow back, defense included. A QB like that just elevates the whole team.

OUās biggest issue is that the committee has ND ahead of them. I have no idea why. As I wrote above, Iād choose OU over ND. Iād also ND behind Miami and Miami won head to head and ND best wins are meh. If I were you, Iād be rooting hard for Texas Tech and GA.

If this was true, thereāll be video of it tomorrow. Unlikely. Heās frustrated the defense gave their offense opportunities to win a game and couldnāt do anything. Youād expect more from a Walter Payton Man of the Year recipient.

I don't know, they looked pretty good against the Ravens offense.

So what was the Heyward thing about? -
They control their destiny. If they sweep the Jags there's basically no way they don't make it. I'm not so high on the Jags that I think they'll stay on a hot streak.

Brady's play calling probably had him and the wrs half asleep and unmotivated out there, so that might've woke him up -
