  1. Past hour
  2. It is a point of pride for sure. It will stick in my craw a little bit if its now a "shared" record, yes. That said...while the four losses hurt, that era as a whole is a source of pride and great, fun memories for the Bills and their fans. We got to watch about ten hall of fame players in their prime, including some all time greats like Bruce Smith, on the same team at once for almost a decade. And the game day party in Orchard Park was off the hook. Outside of those four lousy Sundays, it was the best and that record being tied or falling will never change that.
  3. i keep refreshing this website to see if we have made any moves, and so far i'm disappointed!
  4. that makes sense, but the data on the field doesn't bare it out in the bills case. our O faltered vs atlanta and ne because we got caught having to drop back in obvious passing downs, and we were over 80% run from under center and over 80% pass from shotgun. going back to the playoff game vs kc last season (where we had a lot of offensive production running, but a lot of it was josh taking it himself) we score quite easily in drives where we feature cook, and struggle to do so in drives where we don't. i'd love to have an actual good wr on this team on the outside, but given we go to war with the army we have, not the army we'd like, i think we should put our best players out there and use misdirection and play action fakes out of an advantage run set to get our best results. if we use our best guys and make the d guess, we can score a lot. we did last year with basically the same set of sorry wrs
  5. The thought I keep coming back to it is if this year's lack of offensive production is bc we haven't gone deep into the playbook? Mostly we've been doing zone runs, low routes, or jet sweeps, a few basic screens but that's it. In year's past folks people have talked about not showing too deep into the playbook until after the bye week or major games like this coming up. I'm still on the fence about Keon's development and feel that has turned into more of a mob mentality driven wave of negativity. I like Steve Smith and believe some of his points on Keon, but Keon has almost as many yards less than 1.5 seasons into his career than Steve Smith did in his first 2 years, it's still early, I think his issues with the team are more conduct right now than anything, considering the recent benchings for conduct. They always talked about his jump game anyway and he runs a 4.7, so I never had any expectations of him being a YAC guy, just a red zone possession type WR that go get the jump ball, and if it doesn't work out then it's Beane's fault for drafting a 4.7 WR imo. Anyway, I'm just curious if some think we haven't rolled out much in terms of playbook compared to past years, which has been a trend to try to get on a streak.
  6. Just more innocent fishermen in their (checks notes...) submarine.
  7. I wasn't really even making an evaluation of how good or bad I think the Bills are, just that the mathematical model is reactionary. It's an okay correlate measure for success, but it's not necessarily predictive of future results. The Bills are a decent football team. Probably not the best, but also not as bad as a lot of folks think they may be. I'm happy to just see where the chips fall here. It's frustrating that they aren't the world beaters we thought they could be, but that's just sports.
  8. 🙏🏻 he’s exactly what we need and shouldn’t be too expensive
  9. The McDermott haters will not stop. They will say Josh Allen won despite McDermott. They will use the whole "Yeah ...but we didn't dominate. The way we won wasn't sustainable." and the narrative will immediately shift to "Well, no way can he do it again"
  10. Finally for Halloween proper
  11. I am not handing out candy this year, there are health risks The parents will blame me 😖
  12. Been hating the Chiefs since they beat Bills to go to SB I. Bills 17 Chiefs 16
  13. Well as it goes the "War on Drugs" being in the hands of the police to this point hasn't been all that and a bag of chips and now with the flow of fentanyl and how it's out come in a lot of cases is usually death I'm good with it, what's the difference in death by a bullet or death by a drug ? Either way it still amounts to someone dying and when it's by a drugs those folks are usually asking to use it or by some circumstance fall into it as a casual user and wind up hooked and dying from it so I for one am all for looking at other alternatives that could have a different out come to stopping it .
  14. On the other hand, should the Bills lose and the Pats, Jags, Chargers, and Broncos win (taken individually, these are all likely outcomes), the Bills will be looking up at a lot of teams in the standings.
  15. The second Cowboy team was stoppable and still lament way that first half went. We had them on the ropes but Kelly and the offense couldn't cash in a TD before the half ended so we had to settle on the FG and make it a 7 point lead when it could have been 11. Therefore Thurman's fumble that lead to the Cowboys next TD in the 2nd half may not have been as "devastating". Yet it is what it is, I am proud they made it but sure hurts they lost all 4 but that was then and this is now. I hope KC doesn't make 4 in row so can claim our Bills did something that likely never happen again.

  17. There’s an easy solution to beat 1 high safety- but Beane is too pig headed. Why are we waiting? Does Beane think Gabe is the answer to the passing game? lol
  18. That's the opposite of "finding a rhythm". When you scheme to get the QB in a rhythm, the idea is typically some high percentage pass in the short to medium area. Think some short crossers or short outs. Throwing a lower percentage pass deep down field is counter productive to what you're looking for
  19. The need for speed at WR is so ***** obvious to the entire world except Beane. If he ignores our need at WR this deadline, after ignoring to get Josh better WRs forever, I consider it a fireable offense. Shaheed can be acquired very easily, it’s an obvious solution. If he ignores getting Josh help- it shows how hard headed he is. We get Shaheed, and stay healthy, we are winning the Super Bowl imo. If we ignore WR, we will be lucky to make the playoffs. No WR I’m conceding the division to NE- that’s all on you Mr Beane!
  20. Yah neither one of them are worth a S**T fire them both and get somebody new on each team ! Being a perennial winner in the NFL isn't all what it's cracked up to be just take a shot and get somebody new in their position just to change things up !!
  21. Realize that he is losing that fast. That is why I'm all for this clown show. I didn't think America was dumb enough to elect him again but I was wrong on the number of racist and white trash are in this country. So unfortunately they have to learn the hard way but they are learning. Enjoy your higher health insurance cost in a few days to go along with the higher cost of beef, halloween candy, cars, Christmas gifts, etc...
  22. It's kinda like being the most athletic fat guy. Same level of achievement. Your still fat.
  23. it will be at least a couple years before anything is made public. Erika is already taking some heat for her quick bounce back on Charlie. // Maybe like in the summer/fall of 2028 campaign when Trump is running, the rumors of them getting close start breaking through the media. And then a year later “Vance” splits from Usha and is “dating” Erika. By 2030 they will be a public couple
  24. Don't worry, we'll see vintage Kelce Sunday. Wide open over the middle 20 yards downfield on every 3rd and long. An unsolvable mystery. If the Bills simply focus on what they do well and avoid the cutesy BS they can hang with the Chiefs. otoh, if they run a jet sweep on 3rd and 1 and lose 5 yards I'll turn the TV off and go do something productive
