  1. Past hour
  2. Yep, I’d prefer a more experienced DC for sure, but we are where we are.
  3. I want what you're having!
  4. If you think Lynn Dickey was a "top QB," the answer is no, going all the way to Bart Starr. Dickey is a bit of a stretch though (insert joke here)
  5. If we win out and the Patriots* still take the division, there’s a good chance we will be road favorites throughout the playoffs. What a strange year.
  6. I hadn't really thought of this. Kinda makes sense....until I wonder what occupies his brain during the week.
  7. Give ANY HC an "average to slightly above average QB" and it's likely that HC would be ".500ish at best". The reality is that you can't always get what you want. Ask the millions of people who play Mega Millions and other lotteries. Who do you consider "a great gm" in the 2000s? I'm with @Chaos about the Ravens: coaching is the problem with that team. I don't think there's been a HC who's had less success in relation to the talent on his teams over the last decade than Harbaugh. His teams have consistently imploded in big games or in the playoffs despite frequently facing teams with noticeably less talent on the field.
  8. I haven't become used to seeing Phillips as #52 and keep wondering who that is on the field.
  9. You like losing in the playoffs?
  10. Same. I really thought he was going to be more of an emergency option in case Knox or Hawes went down. But he played close to his normal snap share.
  11. Easy to say. More difficult to move to that neighborhood, but we'll wait. You are no doubt living much closer to a higher percentage of MAGAs than migrants, and you seem pretty comfortable with that right now. Interesting. The decisions you don't choose to make are the easiest to brag about.
  12. I suspect the incomplete one may have had more to do with Ty Johnsons cleats than anything else.
  13. I’ve given in the past, admittedly, naively. Bought into the “woe as me pitch”. Read up a little on the financials, surprise, surprise, it’s a labyrinth. I’ll never learn. But, yeah he’s on the naughty list now.
  14. Their OL is a COMPLETE mess. its no coincidence the last time the Chiefs offense was lethal is when they had Orlando Brown who, while not an All-Pro, is at least an NFL caliber quality OT. Season after season, Mahomes has gotten beat up and as a result, has gotten happy feet and gotten sloppy. We take it for granted with Josh (who also can sometimes fall victim to getting beat up and it affecting his play) but it’s clearly worn on Mahomes. Veach isn’t a bad GM, but his decision to prioritize IOL over OT while Kelce rapidly aged out of being a quality safety outlet is backfiring. couldnt happen to a nicer group of guys. What a shame.
  15. Bing or Ask Jeeves can pry answer that
  16. give me a break. listen...i know this is hard, but you're being duped.
  17. Nothing to do with Baltimore. If Bills win out and Pats lose to the Fins/Jets ... Bills win the division. It's that simple.
  18. this really is fun to watch. they've been duped, and now it's damage control time. just deal with reality.
  19. The adjustments Babish makes at half time is letting McD call Defense.
  20. Short memory. You Are Not A Horse Massive 'Horse Lies' About Nobel Prize-Winning Treatment
  21. we had it on yesterday. no one cares.
  22. Cam is best when he comes off the bench and the opposing team is unprepared for him. when he’s regularly playing - he’s targeted. I do like him. Sometimes he’s a missle and makes good tackles. And then sometimes he whiffs or gets trucked in open. I don’t think he’s ever been good in coverage he’s drawing really tough assignments. The end of half td vs hous in slot. and then chase for conversion in slot. ill blame McD for that. But who else they got? Hancock?
  23. If you can't eat NE chowder hang it up, I'll gladly take the cramps and crap before I bow to any other chowder. There is no other. Kinda like Bleau cheese with wings yo.
  24. I think Jackson is less capable as a passer than Mahomes and Allen, so I think the fall off will be quicker and will affect him more than those guys who can drop back and pick defenses apart
  25. This game will be fascinating. From the responses in this thread I am guessing most folks don't actually watch other teams play that often when they're not playing the Bills. The Patriots are a physical team - they bullied the Giants, who quit within the first five minutes. Granted that's a bottom five team but they were completely outclassed in that game, they didn't want to deal with the physicality. The Pats will be beyond fired up for this game, for the division against the (lately) division bully, coming off a bye, with a better coaching staff. It will be an absolute dogfight from the opening whistle and I'm truly curious to see whether the Bills can match the intensity or whether they're just getting tired from years of taking everyone else's best punch - I truly do not know what to expect. I won't mind so much if they lose, it's more about HOW they lose - but of course I'd love to see them show the Pats what championship football really looks like. It will be must-see TV.
  26. You have 6 fumbles this year and had 5 in 2024. You're no different than last year despite the mental gymnastics you want to play to think you are.
