Both Palmer and Samuel were playing in other games. In specific the NE game in which Kincaid was the leading receiver while Shakir had 9 targets, Coleman had 7 targets. My point is that i feel that the OC has been the problem this season in not game planning for the receivers enough. That clearly showed in the Atlanta and Miami games.

JA - 1st player in NFL history with multiple 3 pass/3 run games
Big Turk replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was talking about the KC games in particular. -
Teams that start 8-3 in the NFL make it to the playoffs over 90% of the time. Of course the Jags were 8-3 in 2023 and missed them. I don’t think the Bills are the Jags of 2023 though.

No you are incorrect. In those seven elite 8 level playoff games the offense is scoring 6 less points and the defense is allowing 7 more..........but the defense also had a pick 6 in one of the Baltimore wins so it's basically dead even point differential as to who has underperformed when the real contenders match up. Josh really struggled in both Baltimore wins. He has made critical errors in stalled drives at the end of the last 2 losses to KC. But in both cases, I place the blame on the weapons around him........which were scant. -
And Hendrickson may not play

yeah, the one and only time the NFL claimed intent instead of following the rule on the books.

I'm not belittling your concerns, but I do wonder how your friend knew his lymphoma was caused by glyphosate. How would it wind up in wine? As I understand it, it isn't the vine/grape uptaking it from the soil. It is from a grower spraying glyphosate somewhere nearby and from "drift" - particles that are sprayed do wind up in places they weren't meant to go. And that is a real problem. As far as remaining chemically active in the soil? There are very good studies showing that it doesn't, which is why the standard warning is a fairly short waiting period between clearing growth with glyphosate and planting. Again, I don't know a whole lot about commercial usage, and obviously there are big problems there. I'm talking about my own residential usage. I limit that (30% vinegar is awesome and cheap!) and follow the guidelines of my agricultural extension. For me, that's Colorado State University, and they are great people and researchers. Extremely helpful and nonpolitical; what we want our public servants to be.

Should we look to trade Keon after this season?
GunnerBill replied to GreggTX's topic in The Stadium Wall
They have mismanged it, certianly. But I am not sure Keon was ever capable of being the answer personally. -
The AFC recently has been a guaranteed one-team show, that team getting to the AFCCG seven years in a row. Recent history this decade shows that only three other teams have made it as far as the AFCCG - Baltimore, Buffalo and Cincinnatti. Shocker it is the quarterbacks, Mahomes, Jackson, Burrow and Allen. Are there going to be two upstart teams contesting the AFCCG, one newcomer and an established team, or will it be the old foes battling it out again? Of the established teams we are in the strongest position, in terms of wins, despite where we should be and what could have been. Cincinatti, virtually no chance at the playoffs, a rusty Burrow may not return this year, their D is really bad. Baltimore, Lamar currently looks hurt, Henry isn't playing at an All-Pro level but given their division (and the health of Rodgers), should make the playoffs. Kansas City, they need to keep winning and have some other results go their way. They might have to empty the tank/playbook to reach the playoffs this year. Buffalo, positive tiebreakers against KC and Baltimore with NE being a huge obstacle to the Division (bur still achievable). Just concentrating on the AFC side, in terms of offensive playmakers, I'd take Josh Allen and James Cook over anyone. The best non-Josh quarterback in the AFC playoffs this year might be Drake Maye (assuming Lamar and Mahomes miss out). Daniel Jones versus Spags next week will be interesting. The ascending teams have chosen a good year to show their hands and fair play to them if any combination of Indianapolis, NE and Denver get to the AFCCG. It'd absolutely suck it they make it and we do note. The Chargers, Jaguars and Texans are established fringe contenders to me but I don't think they will make any noise should they be in the playoffs. Our D stinks at present, the only thing I think that can make it better is for them to be causing and recovering fumbles like last year and stopping giving up so many third down and long conversions. My November 18 gut feeling is that the last two teams standing are Baltimore and Buffalo. Both Josh and Lamar need to get to a Super Bowl badly and I believe one of them will this year and I 100% want it to be Josh and the Buffalo Bills.

All remaining games are huge at this point.

To win the division we need to win out, plain and simple. The only games New England has a realistic chance of losing are us and the ravens. If we we win out, and Pats drop to Ravens,we will win the division. Tiebreaker is very likely out for us given our division loss to Miami so we have to win out and NE has to lose 1 more (in addition to our game).

This is spot on. Many years ago, I was working shift in an aircraft maintenance shop. Every shift there would be a shop turnover with outgoing shift. Most folks would get in 10-15 minutes early. One young kid would come in 2-5 minutes late. Not all the time but often enough that it was noticed. One morning he shows up 5 minutes late again. Another guy showed up 15 minutes late. The young kid was counseled and asked me why the other dude wasn't counseled as well. Obvious what the answer is here. Basically said, 'The other guy is always here 15 minutes early. it's a habitual thing, not a time thing. Be consistently better and they'll forgive the 1-offs'.

The way I see it, EVERY remaining game on the schedule is huge.

I switched to golden safflower recently. Getting nice results already and minimal mess. No pest birds, unless one considers Finches pests. Lots of Cardinals, Nuthatches, Tutfted T’mouse, Juncos, Woodpeckers and Blue Jays….so far.

It's the same team. Last year they won one score games, this year they are losing them.

Should we look to trade Keon after this season?
BADOLBILZ replied to GreggTX's topic in The Stadium Wall
It was acceptable with Diggs to the point where they idiotically extended him. I sometimes think Beane and McD are just too square to understand human nature. There aren't that many types of personalities. As an employer and team builder you gotta' learn how to get the most out of what is available to you. They drafted Coleman into a rudderless WR room the way they drafted Watkins into one. Getting serious about disciplining him after the fact was a tactical error. They should have been able to glean from last season that Coleman was immature and that they had to have a real WR1 in place this year............instead, they made Coleman WR1 and then benched him after he'd played the most snaps of anyone all season. 😂 -
Texans defense is scary good and fast

A Few Thoughts about the Bucs Game - Community Edition
KHAN replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think McD knowing how depleted the defense is has decided to try to stop the pass and live with the run defense. I think he'd rather give up 175 rushing, and 175 passing than 75 rushing and 400 passing which could happen if they sold out on the run. I think leaning on Josh to "bail us out" may be the best option, unless they get as healthy as possible given the current injuries on defense heading in to the playoffs. -

Umm...he scores more against KC in the playoffs than during the regular season...perhaps the defense not averaging 14 points more allowed should be talked about as the issue? -
Compared to the day job right now that would be a blessed relief 😂

Game week thread - Bills at Texans TNF
Blank Stare replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
So, I deleted this shortly after posting for two reasons: 1. Didn’t want to litter the game thread. Wasn’t a great fit for the thread. 2. Looks like the Jets had signed him since that tweet. Just seemed to make sense to kick the tires on the guy with our dline and run defense issues. He’s not some scrub. Why the Jags released him, I don’t know, but they aren’t exactly an infallible franchise. -
Big fan of cartels? Joking aside, why do people vacation in Mexico of all places!?
-
Exactly. I have avoided watching them this year. Cannot stand looking at Mahomes faces or how he wears his helmet. So I'm not really sure where they are different from last year. Basically the same group of players. Same coaches. I just don't get how they are struggling so bad.
