  1. Past hour
  2. Sadly, I think we're getting the best Keon has to offer. You can't get blood from a stone, he can't be motivated to bring more because he is bringing his best. It just sucks. He is a draft bust.
  3. I've always felt that rest advantage is way more important than a lot of people give it credit. That's why it's always one of the first things I look at when the schedule comes out. Unfortunately, the Bills seem to ALWAYS get negative rest advantages, and when they get the advantage in a week-to-week basis, it seems like it never matters, just like you listed this week. I'm honestly REALLY tempted to go and try and do a study in order to see just how much of a factor rest advantage actually plays.
  4. Ya right. More likely some bio-tech company will come up with a pill to make people shop less
  5. 28:00 was a great discussion. I don’t listen to a lot of pressers so how they broke down how Beane and McDemott are answering questions it is enlightening. I have my gripes with Joe, especially his pre draft evals and how he talked about Cooks value for a contract, but I think he hit it on the head when it comes to Keon. Diggs forced his way out and Davis became a free agent. We went into 2024 with no one with significant stats with Josh. So drafting Keon and making him a starter out of the gate especially one who is basically a boundary receiver was not fair to him. Now he may just not be an NFL level player, but I don’t think this was conducive to him maximizing the talent he does have.
  6. Where's the leadership on this team!!! You see it in NE. Treyveon said how Diggs makes him a better player by being hard on him. Why haven't we heard about anyone riding Keon? McDermott? Okay, but it needs to come from the locker room. If he's not putting in the effort on the field, a player needs to yoke the youngster up and tell him to shape up or get shipped out!! Not on this team!!
  7. You just knew it was gonna happen
  8. Josh's contract escalates pretty quickly next season, and we have mediocre draft capital to use, so not sure we are going to get Chase and Higgins type players in the draft, which is what we need. Also need some pretty serious speed upgrades in the defensive backfield and some beef in the LB corps.
  9. Ha, now you have me wondering why did James Cook skip out on his bar tab at Venu, and who was there with him? 🤔😂
  10. I got in for $200, and must have been lucky to find them on the secondary market at the right time. I viewed it as a once in a lifetime opportunity, as I can’t travel too far to a see a concert. I love music, and have to set limits to stop myself from spending too much. There’s nothing like live music, but these large events can also be a hassle. It sometimes makes you regret spending too much. Traffic was poorly managed, some arena staff seemed miserable, but the show itself was great, and well worth it. I’m just glad I didn’t spend too much more.
  11. Any locals want to let us know how the weather is looking? Heard the rain/snow should hold off, but the wind may be brutal. If thats the case, people should tailor their expectations of the passing game this week. Especially anything down field aka 20+ plus air yards.
  12. I think they were hoping that Josh could be like Tom Brady and turn chicken 💩 into chicken salad at WR. Josh did a lot with what little he was given last year, but it's definitely not the case here. Beane & McDermott thought they could give it short shrift again and spend resources in other areas for the bend and break defense. [<= I said what I said.] Beane got testy on the radio in the spring because sometimes the truth hurts. The NFL is about offense and they let it slide while turning their entire attention to defense with ZERO improvement there (actually, it's a couple-few ticks worse than last year which... is saying something. McD doubled down on his scheme of undersized & always hurt LBs / "big nickel" and now jus'about every running back is running us roughshod, not just Derrick Henry. Should they pay the price for sticking with & investing even more in an awful D scheme and wasting an entire year of Josh? IMO, yes.
  13. This is not something the Bills coach is know to do, step on necks
  14. You may be on to something. Like many quarterbacks, Allen might need to get in a rhythm, another reason he's not suited to be the game manager Brady wants him to be. For all the benefits of a balanced offense (no team runs more that the Bills), one potential downside is that the quarterback never gets into that rhythm. That seemed to be a key problem in the losses this season. Brady runs the ball a lot, then when it's stopped, he expects a relatively cold Allen to work his magic.
  15. No, your boy Trump is giving aid and comfort to a child sex trafficker. Doesn't that make you wonder why? He did all the teen beauty pagents, partied with Epstein and young girls, and has been accused of many, many instances of sexual assault. Maybe Trump was involved in sex trafficking. Americans want the truth.
  16. I only listen to GR for the commercials, the rest of the programming is junk. " Should Josh Allen be traded?"
  17. Maybe 10 hours of practice and 3 hours of playing football a week. Millions of dollars a year. Forgive me if I don't get too sad for the guys.
  18. I was tired scanning thread titles. I really thought this was something about AC/DC. Consider me disappointed.
  19. The problem I see with many young people is that they don't want to work for anything. They feel like they are entitled to the benefits of life. Jmo
  20. Andre Reed never even had a back to back 1000 yard season. Diggs topped Reed's career best season twice in 4 years, and is the only Buffalo Bill with 4 consecutive 1000 yard seasons. The only thing Reed has on Diggs is he played here longer. Also, over his last seven years, across 11 playoff games, reed averaged 42 YPG and had 0 touchdowns.
  21. My thoughts exactly when I heard this. It seems like poor management to go from being content with the wide receiver position in the offseason to benching your second year receiver. These things don’t typically happen over night. There should have been concerns and more urgency.
  22. Anxious, overachieving, or too much caffeine? 🤔
  23. Prior to the draft I was screaming that I did not want us to draft Coleman. Xavier Legette was my guy. He isn't lighting the world on fire right now either, but that is who I wanted. The Panthers trade with us and take Legette. The next day we take Coleman. I was pretty ticked off about it. Then we went through the rest of that draft and didn't take another WR. I was even more ticked off about that when we repeatedly passed on Franklin. Still, Keon showed some flashes last year. I started to get some hope that I was wrong, and he would at least be a Gabe Davis type of contributor. The Tennessee and Seattle games were good performances. Then he got cheap-shotted by Poyer and hasn't been the same since. He had the big game against Baltimore and he hasn't had more than 4 catches, which was only once, or more than 46 yards in a game since. He's averaged 3 catches and 26 yards a game since week one. Pretty underwhelming to say the least. Then, on top of that, we've all seen the miscues in his route running, how him and Josh just are not on the same page. Maybe this will be a wake up call for him. Maybe it won't. Maybe they will ship him out in the offseason for a 5th or 6th. We shall see.
  24. Should have buried Naked LSD Feces Pit Hero in the EZ of new stadium Hoffa-style - that would have surely satisfied the gods. Missed opportunity- Beane asleep at the wheel
  25. Your observation captures what I see as wrong with Brady's offense. Rather than scheme his receivers open, he relies on blockers to spring them free, hence the incessant wide receiver screens and stop routes. One might say his options are limited by the abilities of his players, but as others have pointed out, at least two of the new additions, Moore and Samuel, have had far more success elsewhere. You could arguably add Coleman to that list: maybe he's not a bust but a talented player who is being misused. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the Bills receivers have started grumbling behind the scenes. I'll put my point in question form: Have we seen any innovations from Brady in the passing game during his tenure as offensive coordinator? Any surprises, wow moments, or even play calls that run against his tendencies? I'm not talking about cute plays my niece could devise, like throwing to Allen or handing off to Knox. I'm talking about pass-play calling that goes beyond generic and head-slappingly predictable. For example, how about play action on fourth and short instead of always a tush-push? Or an occasional fade or high jump ball to Coleman instead of constant diet of back-shoulder sideline throws? Or Cook on a go route (or any other route on third down, when Brady takes him, one of the most talented players in the NFL, off the field)? Or trying different concepts now and then, like flooding a zone or the no-huddle for an entire series? I've been as critical as anyone about the lack of receiver talent on this team, but I'm starting to wonder if we simply have in Brady a coordinator who is over his head, much like Babich. I admit I'm speaking above my expertise (not hard to do), so If I'm being unfair or just plain wrong, please feel free to correct me.
  26. Yeah, I think a lot of people consider the Beatles one of the few bands to quit at the right time. Longevity is a strange beast in rock/pop. These artists earn a lot of money, but it doesn’t seem to increase GOAT status. The Stones are a good example, I really enjoy some of their recent albums, but the average fan probably couldn’t name a song less than 35 years old, at least. I’m more of bluesy rock fan as well, but I can’t help but believe you’re going to hear songs like Yesterday and In My Life years from now more than anything else from the rock era.
