  1. Past hour
  2. The Bills big splash at WR will be announcing Gabe Davis is being activated from the practice squad.
  3. It would be like that if the Knicks had prime Michael Jordan and couldn't get over the hump. Just kept getting bounced by Patrick Ewing and his Chicago Bulls.
  4. I get it but sometimes out of the coach’s control. Ex. Matt Milano gets hurt this year and comes back for a half and misses more games for the same injury.
  5. Do you hold the same judgment of character against other politicians and high ranking profile spots? Did you hold this trio to others running against Trump or Biden? It's a bit hypocritical to just call out Trump and his immaturity and bull#### even when it's justified when you didn't do the same for others. Gavin newsom is trying to latch on to that same poison that Trump uses and it just won't work because that's not who he is, I don't see anyone being critical of it. Instead of that whole thing of liberal White Chicks saying "slay queeeeen"
  6. I get what you’re saying. They traded Diggs and got a couple of jag receivers. But what do you want the team to say when they haven’t found a big name guy? Of course it’s ‘everybody eats’ and Allen will spread it around. My point was KC signed Juju and MVS to replace Tyreek. Not exactly world beaters. They drafted Sky Moore that year. He’s worse than Keon. They went into that season saying the same things about ‘everyone eats’ and Mahomes would spread the ball around. Mahomes won MVP that year and KC won the Super Bowl. Allen won MVP last year with this philosophy and Bills actually were pretty good but couldn’t finish at the end. Could Bills have invested more draft capital in receivers? Definitely! But they didn’t draft Keon to throw contested jump balls. They envisioned him being a #1. It just hasn’t worked out. I agree that it was disappointing they didn’t invest real draft capital this offseason into receivers. KC does swing more definitely. Hopefully Beane can get something done by the trade deadline.
  7. i would get Gardner Minshew for a song..... and give him the complete playbook to do whatever he wants. This would be entertaining.
  8. If your boss came to you to offer you an extension and pay increase to be at a premium level would you turn him down because you're a mediocre talent?
  9. It’s a Bills game, not a census
  10. Yeah I often wonder what McD even brings to the table from an x's and o's standpoint? Like does he even help us scheme to an opponent's weakness? With Frazier you could notice certain wrinkles here and there, even if the overall scheme was the same. Past few seasons I don't even notice that- we just kinda line up and do our thing and hope the offense doesn't execute efficiently 🤷‍♂️
  11. I don’t think that’s generally true. I guess if we don’t agree on taxes, healthcare, privacy rights, freedom of speech and the rest of the usual subjects, I’d have no call to label you Nazi. But if you support the actions on Jan 6 and their later pardons, depending on the severity, then it would appropriate
  12. I think bishop had cramps…don’t think it was a benching. He honestly has been getting better granted it’s hard not to cuz the bar was so low to start with 😂. Rapp seems like the way bigger problem
  13. The 'Peter Principle' is alive and well in the NFL. That, and nepotism. (See 'Hackett, Nathaniel')
  14. Did he get an extension that would pay him elite money? is top 20 considered elite? And will he finish there.
  15. Looks like he's a running QB whose injuries from that style have caught up with him before he ever developed the ability to play as a more traditional pocket passer. So now you have a guy who isn't a huge running threat and is still very poor at making the timing throws/reading defenses. I think this was his last chance. Too bad because I thought he was fun to watch when he flashed that athleticism.
  16. So, I have no problem at all with your thoughts here... He very well might be a great position coach... that couldnt make the transition fine with keeping him in a role that he can be productive at... but I wholeheartedly agree that he is poor at calling games... and I am 100% in synch with you (and everyone in my household will agree cause they hear me every week) he has no idea how to game plan a defense against a prospective opponents offense.. he is relagated to half time adjustments... now is it McD or him I dont know... but either way its not good enough.
  17. It shows that variance is a real thing which fans and teams tend to ignore. I read a piece on Jaylen Daniels and he played at such a high level last year that he was basically guaranteed "regression" this year despite the simply fact statistically it is impossible for him to hold that high of a level play that long. It doesn't mean he sucks as much as he really had a great year and some things will fall the opposite way. With Josh he basically didn't turn the ball over or get sacked all season so the offense rolled 24/7 and they were really disciplined all season penalty wise. Non surprisingly things have swung back a little bit so it is "what is wrong" rather then just the odds balancing. The odds will also balance back a bit here and he will have a bunch of good games, but it is tremendously difficult to play at a super high level year in year out without turnovers or sacks etc.. even for the best players. It is why I wanted them to add more at WR as it would have balanced the regression the Bills were destined to hit in terms of turnovers and penalties. In 2023 Josh was mentioned by seasons end as an MVP type candidate by some media analysts, but the opening stinker against the Jets mixed with some average games during the middle of the year killed any real chance of him being in the race and with how media formulates opinions he never had a shot then. What you come to realize is the truly best players have a bunch of great years spread out or occasionally back to back, but their "down years" are still at a very high level of play that most players fail to hold regularly.
  18. They did it because they HAD to. That’s not what the TRIED to do. That’s my point. They tried to find a number 1. They took lots of swings and eventually did. The Bills purposely decided to have only role players. Journeyman Mack Hollins, the Patriots 4th or 5th WR, led the Bills in snaps last year. That can’t possibly happen. They traded down twice before settling for Keon as the 9th WR off the board or whatever he was. He obviously wasn’t some guy that they thought would transform the offense. If he was, they would have just picked him instead of going backwards twice. The FA dollars went to Samuel, Palmer and Moore. They didn’t draft a guy at all this year (I don’t count Prather). The Chiefs approach was, “we need to keep swinging to find elite WRs.” The Bills approach is, “get a bunch of bodies and Josh will make them good.”
  19. Unless you want to increase the possibility of filling those positions from within, this should be the offseason plan unless this season plays out drastically different than where it appears to be headed right now. 🤔... in which case, clapping is an asset. Just sayin'. 🤷‍♂️
  20. The coaches offices have a framed needlepoint of Buddy Ryan's old saying: "If you listen to the fans, you'll be sitting up there with them."
  21. Agreed. He isn't really a contested catch guy. Or at least he doesn't do it well.
  22. Most all sounds good but I have heard mention made of using Coleman in the slot seeing as that is where he was utilized quite a bit in his college days, rather than not using a high draft pick if they are going to keep his snap count high try him in other spots to see if he might be more productive there rather than just shelving him .
  23. Don't do step 2. At least not with White. Please.
  24. 10. Get Jackson Hawes more involved.
  25. Because Mcdermott and Beane are nice guys who help old ladies cross the street.
  26. Unbelievable that we are going through another season like this with Josh.
