  1. Past hour
  2. The Bills are the #1 ranked offense in the NFL. I mean at some point people just have to accept they can be good in ways that they don't agree with and score a crap ton of points without having to throw 50 yard bombs.
  3. Rasul Douglas, 2023 trade deadline.
  4. Simple question. Which team "won" trade deadline day? I'll allow you to include trades that came in during the season as evidence for your winner For me, you gotta give it to the Jets. They aren't going anywhere this year or probably next year and here is what they gave up and now have, including their picks They have in just the first two rounds of the next two drafts 2026 draft 2 1st round picks 2 2nd round picks 2027 draft 3 1st round picks 1 2nd round pick. 8 top 64 picks the next 2 drafts already They also got AD Mitchell and Mazzie Smith on cost controlled rookie deals which gives room for growth and time to evaluate Add in their 3rd round picks that's 10 top 100 picks the next 2 years They gave up Sauce and Williams. Williams is a beast Sauce is a bit over rated in my opinion. I don't know about the cap ramifications, but both are ok big money deals. That's a ***** ton of ammo which would give a competent front office a ton of options of how they want to build their team. The good news for us, the jets aren't competent, and have stockpiled in the past only to find themselves tearing it down again But from a squiring assets prospective, the fact they are garbage means they are gonna have some real valuable ammo to play with I think 2nd goes to Seattle, one move that will probably really help given all consideration with little given up Dallas not surprising made odd decisions What say you?

  5. Many typos I know. Chat GPT us a new GM please. Or at least let Beane know there is such a thing. Maybe he can use it to help him during the 2026 draft!
  6. Mentioned this in another thread - but the shape we're in after this season definitely was a major factor in being hesitant to move picks for players. As usual, we're in rough shape cap wise. While we could come up with more money, it's still only going to go so far with all we have to do and freeing that space would add to the number of bodies we'd have to replace. We have *TWENTY ONE* players currently on our 53 man roster that we'll have to either re-sign or replace with limited money and just 7 Draft Picks - including 9 starters and key ones like 2/5 of our OL and our best Pass Rusher. The list includes: Unrestricted Free Agents: - DE Joey Bosa - C Connor McGovern - G David Edwards - LB Matt Milano - DT Daquan Jones - DE AJ Epenesa - CB Tre'Davious White - LB Shaq Thompson - FB Reggie Gilliam - DT Larry Ogunjobi - WR Elijah Moore - QB Mitch Trubisky - CB Cam Lewis - S Jordan Poyer - S Damar Hamlin - S Sam Franklin Jr. - DT Jordan Phillips - K Matt Prater - P Mitch Wishnowsky - P Cameron Johnston Restricted and Exclusive RIghts Free Agents: - G Alec Anderson - OT Ryan Van Demark - CB Ja'Marcus Ingram And again, that's not taking into account players that we'll most likely move on from to free up space like Taylor Rapp, Curtis Samuel, and Dawson Knox. The number grows to 24 with that. You can say "who cares, let most of those guys walk". But we'd still need to replace their roster spots on the 53 with limited cap and just 7 Draft Picks (as we made traded away no one and won't have any comps). All this to say, we weren't in a position to willy nilly trade away Draft Picks or take on large amounts of money in 2026. Which complicated things. It's definitely fair to argue Beane shouldn't have put us in this position to where things were this complicated - but it doesn't change the position we're in.
  7. The Seahawks won the superbowl, they got Shaheed. They beat the Jags and Jakobi Meyers.
  8. The goal is not to get a “starter” by trading picks. The goal is to get a top end player. Quinnen Williams for example - All Pro caliber. The % chance of a team drafting one of those lowers your numbers drastically.
  9. If Benford doesn’t get out of this slump he’s in Asante might be an upgrade to the starting lineup opposite of Hairston. I know it’s never gonna happen but still.
  10. I’m trying to remember the last trade deadline acquisition the Bills made that amounted to anything. Certainly no one during Beane’s tenure.
  11. Williams is a quality player in his prime. Jets are going to go full youth movement next year. I wouldn't let Woody Johnson near my fantasy team never mind a young QB.
  12. Feels like a lot of the need was wr for the two big afc teams that were buyers and the main potential sellers were afc east teams which is a tough spot. I don’t think teams love the half year rental wr trade on top of that…really takes a lot of playbook knowledge and rapport with the qb to be successful especially with a guy like Josh who’s a big improviser. by the time these dudes get their feet wet they’re off the team Odell has come up a lot who was a significantly better player when LA picked him up than anyone we realistically could’ve gotten at the deadline this year and even he was on that bills Amari cooper 300 yds in 8 games type pace until turning it on for the nfc championship
  13. He thinks Davis and Palmer are the same 🤦🏻
  14. All the improvements that you have seen came under Leipolds administration as coach there. I'm not sure just how much fans realized he accomplished off the field as the coach. He first got all the coaches offices and meeting rooms updated and decals put all throughout the facility including a showcase of trophies and the different helmets that they use. Then the next step was they completely overhauled the locker rooms to make them as state of the art that a MAC locker room could be with amenities like massage chairs, televisions etc. Then they created a nutrition room in the facility that wasn't anything huge but they didn't even have one. They made it into a nice small place that players could go and pick up their food and relax before practice started or after getting treatment. Then came the indoor fieldhouse that was completed just as he was walking out the door to go to Kansas. Additional facilities that were planned in place was the complete redoing of the weightroom which to be honest was just a shack and getting it up to par with the rest of the league and connecting it to the indoor field house. Then the next project was supposed to be the scoreboard completely replaced. This was all started by Leipold and Allen Greene the former AD when they both were there. I bet if both were there this would have already been accomplished but changing AD's and coaches probably slowed that up. Just an FYI, I never heard anything about renovating the whole stadium or building a new one outside of people murmuring the possibility of a new stadium at the intramural field which no one took seriously. Now Leipold is doing the same thing with Goff at Kansas.
  15. You can find many takes on Twitter. Some straight news. Some not reliable in the sense that Finding likes it. Some astute opinion. Some pure comedy. None of it, absolutely none of it can hold a candle to Joe Biden is mentally fit after the debate. Imagine being the guy who infamously typed that out, hit post and then doubled down on it now trying to scold others for ANYTHING that they post in the cesspool. Embarrassing.
  16. This is unbelievable. How did Beane not get this done. Williams is a beast and would have immediately made the Bills defensive line one of the best in the league. The only upside is the Jets will be Terrible for many years after the moves that they made the last two days.
  17. Not true. We had enough to even sign Shaheed. I'm assuming Beane simply wasn't willing to beat the 4th and 5th NO got for him.
  18. I think it speaks to limitations of even a “high powered” offense. You’re unlikely to score on every drive regardless of your prowess. I think this is the argument many posters have been making for a better defense. i.e. One high paid receiver is unlikely to improve your offense absolutely if you’re already a great offense. You only have x amount of possessions.
  19. I give him the benefit of the doubt more than most as far as weirdness, but this is f'n weird
  20. I'm going to need Chat GPT to decipher this.
  21. Haha, it's full-blown creepy. You could even make the argument that it's inherently evil.
  22. It’s pretty simple: That’s all we can afford. And we have two guys who are about to come off IR in a week or two…
