Totally agree. Well said. This scenario happens a lot in today's NFL. -

For the Bills to trade for Moore they would need to find $9 million more in cap. -
Maybe Kromer has been spending too much time this season sitting out on his beach chair.

Jakobi gets open, a lot. And he catches the ball when he does. He's not a burner, but he'd get open on all those plays where Josh scrambles for 4 seconds & frantically looks for ANYBODY even remotely open to throw to. That said, this is the exact same thing we were sold on with Palmer, and he's barely been used. Just when it looked they were started to utilize him more, the hip drop tackle happened. I'd still prefer Shaheed, but Meyers would absolutely help our pass game.

Bills, Broncos and Steelers pursuing Jakobi Meyers

I doubt this is real. Mid to lower tier guys don't have real rumors like this. If a team actually wants them they just get him. Rumor headlines like this are always the team trying to drum up interest. Wait a couple weeks and he will probably be released. -
You're not wrong. I really expected (more hoped) that Shavers would be the one guy in the WR corps that took a big step forward. He's become nothing more than a blocker on the outside.

DJ Moore is who we should be making a call on. Too much smoke around the Saints guys, prices will rise Moore on the outside at the Bears, they have drafted Odunze and Loveland and Burden high - must be a chance they would consider moving the guy who is the ex WR1 there? -

What I keep telling myself is this: Gave Davis did exactly what you're supposed to do in the NFL. He worked hard, made the most of his chances and is an NFL caliber player. The problem is that he's a rich team's WR 4 and a poor team's WR 2. WR2 is probably the most overpaid position in the NFL and the Jaguars offered a sum of money wildly disproportional to his capabilities. That's not his fault, nor is it that Beane hasn't managed to get anyone who is appreciably better. So welcome back Gabe, I wish we didn't need you. -

Bills, Broncos and Steelers pursuing Jakobi Meyers I think Belichick is still pursuing Meyers for that one lateral. 🤨 -

Not trying to say he’s a world beater by any means but meyers would be as good as any outside wr we’ve had in Josh’s tenure outside of prime Diggs…even late Buffalo Diggs had more of a slot skillset I’d say im glad the fans don’t run the team haha turning down meyers is kinda crazy. Like yea sure having aj brown would be better than meyers obviously but a lot of these hypothetical trades for great players don’t make financial sense for either team and are wildly unrealistic -
Jakobi Meyers and Brian Thomas Jr are Keon’s direct neighbors on that chart

All good, all respect. This year I've tuned out more than I wish I did to the entire league. Just not the same interest as in the past.

I like James Palmer a lot. Him saying he had people at the Browns telling him they couldn't believe they got a 3rd round pick for Amari Cooper. 😳

Week 9, Chefs v. Bills, PREDICT THE SCORE!

If my kids' lives depended on my getting this pick right, I'd reluctantly have to bet on the Chiefs. But they don't, and I can't stomach the thought of the Chiefs beating us at home, so I don't want to think about it before I have to. I'm going to say our coordinators both scheme and call their best games of the year, and the players step up for the challenge as Highmark goes wild... Bills 31 Chiefs 17 -

In terms of talent or their actual play? Because, for example, the Jaguars WRs are much more talented but I think they have been by far the worst in the league this season. Buffalo is definitely near the bottom (though we have a good OL, good TEs, and good RBs around Josh so it's not like he's actually surrounded with nothing). Other teams near the bottom IMO: Jets (after Wilson they basically have nobody playable, but Wilson is obviously very good) Cleveland (Jeudy is okay but it's horrible after him) Houston (Similar theme, it's Nico and then a bunch of rookies/Christian Kirk, none of whom have been able to really do anything yet) Tennessee (Ridley and a bunch of underwhelming rookies) Las Vegas (Meyers and a bunch of underwhelming rookies/sophomores) Giants (Slayton would be a nice pickup for us but he's maybe their #1 right now?) Carolina (Tet is a promising rookie and Coker is still getting back up to speed but their WR room is essentially all untapped potential right now) I would say that right now (including Palmer for us), we are better than Jacksonville, Cleveland, Tennessee, Las Vegas, Giants, and Carolina). I'd probably rather have the Jets or Houston's WRs because they have a good #1 and we could potentially acquire reinforcements around them. -
the OP is referencing this year. I don't have the data on the overall game outcome/impact of each specific Bills holding penalty vs Chiefs in past years to be able to agree with you.

NFL insider Jordan Schultz adds that the Raiders are looking for "at least a Day 2 pick"for Meyers "to even consider" trading him. 50.9% of Meyers career snaps have been from the slot position. Sounds like Raiders are playing him outside a little more. I’ve live in Massachusetts and have seen lots of Jacobi games. Decent WR, great hands, not a deep threat. Meyers threw the worst, stupidest, backwards lateral I’ve ever seen, gifted TD to D. so I’m not sure how smart lol
