  1. Past hour
  2. Nah....let him sit this week. Coming off a game where the offense looked good (especially in the 2nd half) and the WRs were finally getting open down the field and we were hitting some explosives, I am in no hurry to see him again. Now, if he had shown any promise of growth this season, or even in the last couple weeks leading into the benching, I might agree that it is important to get him in there. But when you watch the All 22 and you see the lack of separation week in and week out, the lack of overall effort on many plays, and lack of any real positive impact on the offense at all in terms of getting other open down the field, I just don't need to see him until injuries or whatever dictate it. If Samuel is out I'm putting Moore in there instead. One week in the press box and then going in on a short week isn't going to all of a sudden make him a different player. He has to EARN his way out there again and getting to a few meetings on time on a short week isn't going to prove anything to anyone. So, yeah....let him sit this week too. Then, if over the the next week and a half before we play again he shows something to significance to the coaches and his teammates, and if you really need him back, then consider it against Pittsburgh. Make no mistake about it, though, he's not going to be the savior of our offense, especially against a defense like Houston has. I'm fine with him sitting at least another game, if not even more.
  3. Excellus bues seems to be different than your Blues https://www.excellusformedicare.com/Vital?utm_source=sfmc&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=aep_2025_reacquisition_cny_r2_a_t2&utm_content=explore_our_plans_button&utm_term=exc_medicare#Drug-Plan-Table-Anchor
  4. Reality in this world is in the eye of the beholder. Allen had 2 INTs, 3 fumbles and 7 sacks. That WAS the headline of the game.
  5. This really seems to be the key. For me at least. It lines up well for sure. Even better than Poyer raising the guys back there with Him ? he is playing pretty solid football himself This is fun. Hairston and White swapping reps was cool too. McD might be owed a thank you. Imagine if the team were anywhere near fully healthy Bishop FTW
  6. I assumed you wanted more 4-3 for size. If it’s because you think Dorian Williams fits the run better that’s a different story. He hasn’t been consistent which is why he hasn’t broken the starting lineup.
  7. Oh ya, 9-11 was a great friendly gesture
  8. There’s the spirit! 😂
  9. This is a huge test for our offense, most importantly. We need to get into a groove (consistently) and let Josh be Josh against these types of defenses. Be curious how Joe Brady adjusts vs an opponent that had our number last year. Hes been fairly successful at his 2nd attempt against teams that have had success against us (Ravens, Jets, others). On defense, I want to see us sell out against the run and get more aggressive on 1st downs with blitzes. I think we can win upfront against their OL, so maybe we see our front 4 fairs for 1-2 drives to start. This is a game we absolutely need to execute sharply on offense, ie: Chiefs game, and hold them below 21 points.
  10. The reality is, if it was anyone OTHER than Skylar Thompson they probably would have won.
  11. You can look back on my post history and see I have been a pretty big Shavers supporter since last off season. But please...pump the breaks. He's had 1 good (not even great) game. Let's not get overly excited. Every week somewhere around the league a guy has a great game out of nowhere. I like Shavers. I think he CAN be a solid player. But let's temper expectations. Look what happens to Gabe. From "hey this guy can make some plays" to "This guy could be an all-pro" after one amazing game to..."get this loser off the team"...mostly because of over expectations.
  12. Google AI tells me that teams with a good offensive line can exploit their defensive tackles, while their safeties are vulnerable to play action. Of course, Google AI also admits it is a "long-term existential threat," so...
  13. It's just 1 game. Let's see if Shavers can show some consistency and do it over and over. Then we'll start the convo.
  14. Bills 23 - 3 Prater field goals Texans - 20
  15. 18 of 45 for 220 with 1 TD and 2 INTs and 4 sacks and a 44.7 rating. It was all the Bills turnovers that had that game close. Get your facts correct.
  16. Ooh child Things are gonna be easier Ooh child Things'll be brighter Some day, yeah We'll put it together and we'll get it undone Some day When your head is much lighter
  17. A Davis Mills game?
  18. One thing i’ve been thinking about, probably since week 4 is what sort of strain may be placed upon the opposing coaching staff on a weekly basis with the roster. Josh Allen, James Cook, O-Line. That’s the only constant…virtually everything else is subject to change week to week. Obviously you wish there were zero injuries, but perhaps if there’s any sort of silver lining in having 100 guys on your team…it’s you never know who’s up, who’s down and i’d imagine that can be challenging when you’re trying to drill down to the individual level to see what sort of tendencies guys might have, when there’s little to no tape on some of them. In the same way the offense is varied, i think the roster gymnastics also makes things somewhat hard to predict.
  19. Yeah, that inbred.
  20. Coleman isn’t going anywhere. His cap hit is 2.7, but 5.9 if cut. The Bills would still eat about 3 mill in dead cap if traded this off-season. The question also begs who do you get to replace him? Do you go the medium vet route and get players like Samuel or Palmer who cost millions and deliver nothing or go cheap and get guys like Moore for the same 2.7 but with little to no upside? You keep Coleman recognizing he isn’t a star but find ways to make him useful. You then do what you should have done and draft multiple receivers, one with a premium pick and one with a middle pick and make sure they have decent size and speed. It’s time to give Josh real targets to throw too.
  21. This reminds me of the legend of Mike White.
  22. Of course he didn't. The man couldn't even form completely sentences through most of his term.
  23. These guys have played the Titans twice but the rest of their games have been good opponents. They are not a pushover.
  24. No need to cut. Just don’t dress Keon. Simple enough. Let the kid keep munching on some humble pie 🤤 I forgot about Kelvin. That was painful 😣 Thing is: Shavers has football speed and a brain, Keon does not.
