Who’s your defensive surprise of the year?
Richard Noggin replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
Deone Walker's strength at this point in his development is not really run defense. To date, he's been much better rushing the passer. 2023 college tape, Senior Bowl tape, injury recovery with NFL strength and conditioning, plus the promise of intensive NFL coaching, projects a high ceiling overall for Walker. But he's not a plug-and-play run stuffer at all right now. -
Jordan Hancock if Taron misses any time. Hoping he takes Cam Lewis' role, and that he knows that on 4th down you KNOCK IT DOWN
-
Our QB looks more like a TE than our actual TE does... That being said, everyone said he'd be a huge weapon in the slot! But they forgot, most of what we have are guys who would be good in the slot 😆

Oh Canada!

(1) It is recognized that there is no right under the Constitution of Canada to effect the secession of a province from Canada unilaterally and that, therefore, an amendment to the Constitution of Canada would be required for any province to secede from Canada, which in turn would require negotiations involving at least the governments of all of the provinces and the Government of Canada. "No Minister of the Crown shall propose a constitutional amendment to effect the secession of a province from Canada unless the Government of Canada has addressed, in its negotiations, the terms of secession that are relevant in the circumstances, including the division of assets and liabilities, any changes to the borders of the province, the rights, interests and territorial claims of the Aboriginal peoples of Canada, and the protection of minority rights". -
I think Hairston is going to take off with this defense, plus with an improved pass rush there should be more balls for the pickings. Hopefully we drafted the anti-Elam.

Trump ❤️ Tariffs

The Noble Family Farm idea is still true for many, many farmers. For lots of others, not so much. Corporate owned farms are expanding rapidly. They’re not even called “farmers” anymore; they’re “growers.” And yes, the bundle of subsidies and price supports are with taking a close look at. Maybe your attempt to educate me wasn’t fully successful. Maybe you were relying on an antiquated view of American farming. -

Would love to see Bosa be a consistent disrupter at DE. If he can stay healthy, it would be a dynamic on our DL that we haven’t had in a very long time! -

Haha fair points. I was gonna say Pickett- But now that you put it that way, they are probably gonna be wasting a 5th round pick regardless . (By cutting sanders or Pickett) -
Really bad pick. Either the FO really panicking picked, or Dalton has not worked hard enough. Being optimistic…perhaps he is just a guy who does not put on muscle when lifting/getting stronger.

What Does "Due Process" Mean?

I don’t know how they came up with this stat. It isn’t true. It is true that a large number didn’t see an immigration judge because they did not request a hearing. That’s called expedited removal, and it still exists for people stopped along the border. -
Deonte Walker for me. I think the kid has a ton of potential. Probably sees a fair amount of snaps when we play contenders that are run heavy or try to expose that aspect of our game. The other player I’ve got…Milano I think this is his best year in football given the talent around him. Who do you see as a big surprise on defense this year? Also I think the suspensions do actually work in our favour if the guys are disciplined and ready to roll week 7.

https://www.msnbc.com/top-stories/latest/trump-white-house-for-sale-crypto-rcna205142 Our UAE friends just happened to decide that the World Liberty (Trump) cryptocurrency is well worth a $2 million investment. Did I mention that they are also currently seeking a export waiver to buy NVIDIA chips? -
Is there an NFL team with a weaker WR group than the Bills?
Richard Noggin replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is an awesome breakdown. Thank you! But this is also where the science leaves off and the art of football analysis picks up: how much of this was the ghost of Amari Cooper's previous threat influencing or revealing defensive coverages? And/or how much of this was Amari Cooper's actual performance and production? I think if the Bills don't have an obvious matchup nightmare "#1" WR going into 2025, which they don't, that's fine...but on one hand it obviously limits an offense's ability to dictate/predict coverages, and on the other hand it allows Brady and Allen and the Gang to continue to evolve their Everyone Eats/Total Futbol offensive approach of spreading it out. Kind of like the NBA's triangle offense, which has since proliferated. Do the Bills have a Scotty Pippen and a Steve Kerr and a Horace Grant to run the Triangle with Josh Allen? Still looking for Pippen to step up, I think. -

Am I the only person that thinks think guy could be decent as a pro QB? I mean way better odds than your average 5th rounder. I would have taken him at the end of the first. But I understand why GMs and coaches wanted to avoid the circus. He’s definitely a jackass. -

What draft capital would it have taken to draft 2 WRs that are better than the 2 free agents that are singed? -
This is quite an interesting thread with the discussion on theology and history of the churches practices, etc. Sounds like most of us, myself included, have a Catholic background regardless of which side of the political spectrum we are on. We all may be looking at each other in the church pews. I just hope the Cardinals choose someone who can continue to speak truth to politicians and be a voice for peace, democracy and advocate for the poor, homeless and disadvantaged across the globe. Carry on chaps…
