On the night of 9/7 to 9/8 there is going to be a blood moon lunar eclipse. Does this change the point spread at all? -

Agree HD. Much of this thread can be summarized as a debate between 2 types of people. Those who reason through moral, ethical and legal considerations to these streams and those who are limited to: I like football because it makes me happy. What makes me happy is good. I deserve good things. Good things should not cost money. Greedy people charge money for football. Therefore I am entitled to free football because it is good, makes me happy, and bad people are bad. -

I have noticed over the years after exploring profiles, some are Homer's other predict by market size. I am telling you this board would do better than this bunch -

Convenient and true. No matter how much of that boot you eat, you'll never be one of them. -

Good analysis. I agree with your post. I just think it's a huge ask and unlikely to expect two rookies to have a significant impact. It's far more likely that they are liabilities due to their lack of experience. Like I've reinterated the path to a Bills victory is pretty narrow. Sure they can win and I hope they do. I think the Bills offense will have to make some explosive plays, control the ball, stretch the field, and have 1 or less turnovers. The crowd will be loud but not as advantageous or helpful as other games. The Ravens know what to expect and will be prepared. The Bills defense will likely get shredded. I don't see a viable or realistic path to their success. The Ravens have a path to run all over the Bills or be successful passing due to the Bills secondary injuries. I do believe your above explanation is unrealistic. (No offense.) I think the defense needs to be stout in the red zone, prevent TDs, give up mostly field goals, force a couple of turnovers, and maybe get one big 4th down stop. -
Age wasn't a factor when North Carolina hired Mack Brown.

Hearing good things about Hawes. Could he be a cheaper knox?

It might sound corny or dumb @BillsFan619 But i have been separated from my family and friends up here in New England territory (Cape Cod) for almost a year. I am in a committed relationship that is also long distance now (it wasnāt at first.) Itās been probably the lonliest summer of my life. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Gestures like this go a very long way with a lot of people. Being considered part of the community of this legendary Bills forum is an honor. So thank you and God bless everybody.

Using the word āhopelessā I donāt think Benford is trending towards being out, do you? So if Benford plays and White is out will you still feel āhopelessā as you said? I too, think that the ravens have the edge and Iām not going to be (very) upset if we lose. Baltimore has a great team and we will lose a few games this season. Losing to a great team in week one doesnāt say much about our chances to win the SB.

Finally caught up on the last episode last night. After decades of hand-wringing about what a distraction being on Hard Knocks would be, the Bills managed to put out the most boring, least intrusive season in Hard Knocks history. Lot of good stuff from a hype stand point. That opening episode still has me juiced. My one major take away is: How about that Josh Allen? What a personality! The dude is "always on". Can sit down for any interview and jump right in with witty answers. Gives everyone the same level of engagement in every interaction whether he's talking to Terry Pegula or some random fan. I still cant believe he is "our guy"... š

Williams was brutal, but he got jobbed on a few inning changing pitches. Chisholm 9th inning at-bat looked like ump payback after Boone berated ump and got tossed. One Ump track website had it at 15 missed calls, another 21. ššš

Iāve never been a fan of affirmative action programs. Not saying he benefitted from these, but not saying he didnāt. His ideas on vaccines are simply wrong. The vast majority of medical historians and public health experts will tell you that vaccines are one of the most important inventions in all of medicine. I was texting my wife to say I love you and somehow it sent as "Keon Coleman Groin". Those crazy typos. -
I think Josh is the most foolproof of any option, including Mahomes. Josh was able to make a Ken Dorsey offense no. 2 in the league. He got Daboll, a multiple-time flameout as OC, a head coaching job. Mahomes has the benefit of being in one of the best offensive systems by the best offensive player caller of all time. Lamar has had the benefit of the offense being tailored just for him. But if you want a sure thing and youāre picking from the three, you pick JA every time. Not about being a better or worse QB, itās just you know that no matter what other variables you land with- heās going to get the offense to produce big every time. He is the ācheat codeā.

At some point you would think the players would start tuning him out especially if they lose to the Chiefs for the 5th time in 6 years during the playoffs. The Eagles eventually moved on from Reid and it worked out well for both parties going forward. The same thing may have to happen in Buffalo. How many years can players keeping hearing the same message with no results to show for it before they tune the coach's message out.

Is ESPN anything besides trolling QBs not named Mahomes and Steven A running for President? -
Yes, the great Rex Grossman victory... His Indy rosters were absolutely loaded on both sides of the ball--especially Offense. That should have been the dominant franchise of the late 90's to mid 20teens, not NE. Terrible playoff coach, given what he had to work with.
