I am with you. The fatter, the better. Need some big thumpers to hit some guys.

It's been a confusing season. I think if before the season I was told we would be at 7-3, I would have taken that. And been quite happy. But the reality of the situation hits much different. When you combine: - The Patriots record and them beating us head to head at our house -Getting run out of Atlanta by a team that hasn't won a game since -Getting trounced by Miami -The fact that Burrow got hurt, Cincinnati has struggled -Lamar and almost the entire Raven defense was hurt, they struggled -Kansas City is not the same It just feels like a HUGE missed opportunity this season. Losing 2 very winnable games to Atlanta and Miami really suck. Could and probably should be 9-1 right now. The path to the #1 seed was right there for us...and it's now way tougher to get there. So even at 7-3, it still feels like disappointment.

Game week thread - Bills at Texans TNF

We just need to take care of the football in this one. The Texans will keep points off the board but their offense is so lethargic no matter who the QB is that as long as you aren't gifting them field position, you'll be fine. Can't wait for Woody Marks and the corpse of Nick Chubb to run for 250 against us though -
Jalen Ramsey Ejected - Ja'Marr Chase Spitting?

The Bengals D have given up an average of 38 points per game in the last 4 games. THAT would have to change to beat the Patriots. -
Aaron Rodgers - possible broken wrist

We have a 3 game lead on them. So for that scenario to happen, I think, would put the Bills in danger of not making the playoffs -

Which is just getting more ridiculous by the moment. The rookie needs to play. -
Should we look to trade Keon after this season?
stlbills13 replied to GreggTX's topic in The Stadium Wall
I mean like any trade it just depends what you can get. If it's Coleman and a 7th for a 6th I'd say no. But if someone sees a young WR on a rookie deal and wants to do something like Coleman and a 6th for a 3rd then yeah sure. (insert joke about 3rd round Bills picks here) The rest of the season will dictate a lot. Does Coleman learn/respond from this? Is he even active? If he doesn't even see the field the rest of the way then yeah I'd probably trade him for anything assuming we plan to take a swing for a top WR anyway this spring. -

Nothing says fun like shrillness. -
At least one Thursday game for each team is the rule. Teams can play on Thursday more than once, obviously.

I agree the Bills handled Denver with pretty much ease last year. I think Denver scored their first possession and that was pretty much it. I think D Henry is playing hurt/dinged. He is not as fast/quick as earlier in the season. Recovery is harder the older you get. And Balt can't afford to give him any rest. Balt won't want to give D Henry any type of injury designation outside of resting him thru practices.

It really all starts with the oline…people try to turn football into ‘only the qb matters’ and it’s a pet peeve on mine lol look at mahomes in games where his oline gets pushed around and games it doesn’t. if your oline is playing well, your good qb looking elite isn’t some big ask. the only team in the afc playoff picture right now that I think just a good game from Josh might not beat is Baltimore and ironically we are 2-0 against them in the playoffs with Josh being good not elite imo 😂 -
End of the day - he pouted, missed a meeting, and hit the bench. He can either continue to pout and make problems with his coaches and teammates, or just show up and try and get back on the field. People are criticizing him for having a good time with his teammates before the game, but i see that as a positive because i think this whole thing could have turned very quickly in the other direction. I believe he will have a role here by the end of the season and the playoffs, and for that reason i do want him to get focused, get right, and be accountable.

What we need is a big fat physical MLB. But in McD's defense you have to cover in the passing game When McD is fired he can take all this lightweight LBs with him.

The only thing better than laughing at Manti was laughing at the press, who slurped it all up as if it had really happened.

He played with one arm yesterday. It’s clear as day he’s playing hurt. Totally ineffective. Must’ve reinjured it during the game.

I'm glad you brought this up! One of the big failings on offense this year versus last was the decline in the production we had seen out of the RBs on the roster NOT named James Cook. Davis was beginning to look like a cut candidate and Johnson, dubbed by Josh last season as the best 3rd down back in the league, had been a non-factor. While Davis didn't do much on offense yesterday, he was remarkable returning kicks, and Johnson looked more like the 2024 version of himself. I think the sudden RB activity in the passing game (remember, the Bucs have one of the best run defenses in the league) is just one more benefit of what happens when the downfield passing game is working and defenses cannot crowd the line of scrimmage.

That argument may work with an “unknown” as the number 2. You could say, “Rodgers hasn’t been great and I believe that ____” could be better. Rudolph is not that unknown. He’s a bad player with 32 appearances and 8 years in the league. He’s a functioning number 2 I guess but he’s not on the level of a low end starter. Even if you believe Rodgers is the 25th best QB in the world, or whatever, there isn’t an argument to be made that Rudolph is above that. -

Bleeding Bills Blue replied to GreggTX's topic in The Stadium Wall
I voted no, because i think trading players when the value is tanked is kinda dumb. The likelihood of it making you look bad is much higher than the 6-7 pick swap we would get. I doubt the WRs stay healthy all year - Samuel misses time constantly, same with Gabe, and Palmer already had a high ankle sprain - so there's also potential for him to get back in the rotation and make some plays. -
With the cost of these goddamn PSL‘s, it was just cheaper for me to fly over
