They choked away a couple huge leads and Daboll seems to be actively trying to get his promising qb killed. He’s also done some sketchy stuff with injuries/concussion protocol
-
Please don’t focus on the defense. Please fire himself from the room. His ideas are worthless. Please go play madden with some 13 years olds and learn some common sense game management. It’s year 9, you probably should learn how to use timeouts and challenges at some point. Please remove him from the defense. I want him to be a HC for appearances only. He brings nothing positive to the table

They didn’t get rid of him for no reason. The little diva went middle school mode on the team and on Josh. Keeping him might have been amusing in a reality TV way, but that’s not the entertainment I’m looking for. We will go all in on WR after this offseason like we went after defense this year. I really like Hoecht and some of the new guys on D. Our defensive backfield may finally get the speed and athleticism they need, and Walker could be the steal of the draft for ANY team. Time will tell, but I’m not jumping ship after 50+ years of this.

“In 6 wins this year our team has looked completely different than in the 3 losses.” No it hasn’t. They played like dogcrap against the Ravens at the home opener for 3 quarters and we’re getting whipped. They beat the Saints but did not look good doing it. They barely beat the Dolphins the first game and always have stretches during games where they look terrible. Face it. This teams strategies and game prep are not good. Their roster is not great and when they don’t show up to play, this is what they are. They are going no where this year and frankly never will under McD. He lacks leadership. There is no passion on this team. No one is ever held accountable. How many times are they going to “watch the tape, learn from this, winning is hard, give the other team credit, we have to player better and stay in our gaps, every one has to do their 1/11th, we have to work harder. I could go on but these are the answers every time they don’t show and play horrible and it’s never going to change. I think Josh is the only one with enough clout to stand up and say something to change it but he never will. He just echoes McD’s coach speak generalities and doesn’t want to make any waves. Nice guys finish last. Brady Rogers, Peyton Manning, Drew Bledsoe, they demanded excellence from their teammates and held them accountable. Josh sits in the sidelines in isolation and pouts. I’ve never seen anyone talk to him or try to rally the troops to get them playing. It looks like it all pays the same the who cares if they win or not? It’s just a game and they are making a killing. Never going to win a championship with out some sacrifice and and out effort. This team is soft and it starts and ends with McD.

Boy we sure can pick durable defensive players.
-
I think it kind of hurts his case that he didn't get much out of Daniel Jones and now in Indy he's balling out
-
Daboll will never work for McD again and McD don’t want him. He wants puppets
-
Even more reason for Terry to force it on McDermott The HC has not had his team ready to play in numerous games this year and he's on the hook for both of the hires of coordinators that are both busts Send the message that his seat is hot and that he doesn't get to reject the addition of Daboll to the team in whatever capacity he and the team decide on
-
The Dolphins better look into a Quarterback as well, otherwise they will be the next team to fire Daboll.
-
Weird time to fire him. Management (Schoen) and Daboll seemed to agree that Wilson was the bridge QB. It failed miserably. And the Giants now show signs of life with Dart turning in a surprisingly good rookie year. I guess Schoen can't fire himself.
-
Pegula isn't going to get rid of anyone unless Josh demands it. He's kept Kevyn Adams as GM of the Sabres for 6 years now despite zero playoff appearances and icing one of the worst teams in the league his entire tenure. I would imagine Pegula likes Beane and McD and has given them both a very long leash despite it being pretty clear that this team is unlikely to win a SB under their control. Strap in folks, they're about to be here for the rest of Josh Allen's prime.

I would love for this to happen even as a passing game coordinator but... Put ourselves in Brian Dabolls shoes. Hes probably emotionally drained and will most likely take the rest of the season off
-
I don't think Allen is the problem, but he has been part of it lately. More of a result of his back breaking from having to carry the team. I was quick to jump on the F Diggs bandwagon, and I still think a guy getting paid that much should handle himself more professionally. However, it is clear Josh isn't a motivator like many SB champion QBs. He, and the team are exactly what you would expect from a group that has "mr brightside" as a fight song. They miss Digg's talent and fire. I get the impression Diggs wants to win a superbowl above all else now that he is rich. He clearly saw it wasn't going to happen with McBean and a xanax stupor locker room, no matter how talented the QB is.

If Brady gets canned this year, McDermott HAS to go outside the organization for OC. And there should be some decent options- Stefanski would be a coup if we could land him, if even for a year. If he's going to refuse to let someone come in and show up his defense, then he damn sure better be play caller and own that thing for the rest of his tenure here. Say what you want about Babich- it's not like he picks the players or can change the scheme, so honestly it's not even fair to judge him for his performance here other than to say he's not adept at maximizing our already milquetoast play sheet.
-
I’m not arguing with you. Just thinking like them. I want Daboll back here. We need a new voice, and someone whom Josh respects. McD is not going to win a Super Bowl here. Maybe somewhere else, and maybe we regret moving on. But it’s not happening here, and I’d rather not squander the rest of Josh’s career with the crapfest we’ve seen the last month.

I don’t know what they were honoring, you couldn’t understand a ***** thing in that place. if that was just for this weekend, I withdraw the complaint. I assumed they did it every weekend. It was weird. I don’t remember it being tied into any ceremony.
-
They are saying on TV the Miami Dolphins will look into him for their new head coach after the season. The Bills need to jump in front of them.
-
Hate to say this … but the Pats are effing good

They are well coached and have a young qb that is playing at a higher level than our qb while also in a cheap rookie deal. They also made the wise decision to bring in some veterans with high energy and competitive fire in Hollins and Diggs. Our defense had Hoehct but he quickly got injured. Allen is not that guy like Brady or Mahomes to get on his teammates and we don’t have any other guys on offense that provide that fire and juice. Patriots have the division in the bag, Bills will need to find their way to a wild card spot. -
Yea I'm honestly shocked they did it now considering they have a rookie QB who seemingly has been playing well. Can't keep blowing double digit leads though, which the Giants have done a lot.

Hard Rock Stadium -what a trash experience

Totally agree. I was at the liberty versus Southern Missouri game this Saturday and they honored a veteran at halftime who was in captivity in Vietnam for five years several purple hearts etc. people were totally locked in you could’ve heard a pin drop. Then the ovation he got was absolutely incredible at the end of the ceremony. Really beautiful stuff -
McD needs to swallow his pride, focus on the defense, fire Brady, and let Daboll do his thing on offense. It’s our only option to save the offense and this season
