10/13/25 GAMEDAY Bills at Falcons MNF Gameday Thread

It was a bad Sunday for the Bills. Virtually every important outcome did not go their way. I can't handle going into the bye in 2nd place in the division! LETS GO BUFF A LO! -
https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/colts-qb-anthony-richardson-taken-to-hospital-with-orbital-fracture-after-eye-injury-in-pregame-warmups/ So, Colts QB Anthony Richardson was a surprise inactive yesterday. Turns out he's injured AGAIN. Broken orbital bone from a stretch band. At least it wasn't a rubber mat, I guess.

He is the last person I have ever asked to take a celebrity picture with in probably the last 30 years, super nice guy. I pray we learned our lesson and never see those god awful "cold front" uniforms again. -

Canadian thinking of catching a game - Little help?

Where the heck are you flying from and how many people are going that you expect it to cost 4-5k? 😱 -
I just read the Bills have to play the Falcons, who they have a great chance to lose to, BUT in another thread the Patriots have a sure win against the same Falcons. This board has truly become bipolar. I'm loving it!

Any practice squad elevations? -
Well, that was a really bad Sunday for the Bills. Basically every relevant team in the AFC won (I don't think the Jags are truly relevant), and most of them beat NFC teams for good measure. Yikes, tonight is suddenly a crucial game. A big group of bottom-feeder teams has given the AFC contenders a lot of extra Ws. It's going to be tight!

I didn’t see the game but I did see the replay of kelces “catch” and it’s shocking that it was allowed to stand, but then I guess not so shocking in this league anymore

I think Nagy is a possibility. Borgonzi has really been a Chiefs lifer so I’d say it’s highly probable someone from the Reid tree is getting hired in Tennessee. Nagy and Spags make the most sense. Kafka I can’t see , just too disappointing of a resume to this point as an OC

This thread should be retitled “Blame the refs when KC wins & blame the refs when BUF loses”. So whiny. 😂

I thought they competed and looked pretty good most of the game. They are actually playing sound defensively. They just can't generate enough quality scoring chances while playing anything resembling defense and the power play is abysmal. Early injuries have not helped. I thought this team would need everyone healthy and performing near career highs to be in the wild card picture and so far without Norris, Benson, and Kesselring thats pretty much what it has looked like to me. 100% of their practice time should be spent on Power Play. They could actually be in these games as loser point merchants with an average power play. Penalty kill has been solid. Lyon has been decent.

I agree with them looking Chiefs, but I think they go with the other side of the ball. I'd watch Matt Nagy. He did have issues as a first time HC, but went back and sat under Andy Reid's learning tree some more. And hey, they guy made the playoffs twice with Mitch Trubisky as his QB. Another name I'd keep an eye on...Mike Kafka. OC for the Giants but has the Chiefs roots as well. If Dart keeps showing well, maybe the Titans look to him to work with their young QB too. I had Daboll as first fired coach during the preseason. Yes, that win may have bought him some more time. I still think he's gone at the end of the year

The uniforms we wear tonight are as clean as it gets. I love them. Sucks the Bills store barely sells them now -

90 minutes before kickoff. So 5:45 there should be a post on the Buffalo website. -
Daboll is not getting fired. No chance. That recent win just sealed his job.

The Refs and this “rigged” league

https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/fire.70020 Right on time! “Our findings suggest that when the league’s financial health is at stake, rule enforcement may subtly shift to protect market appeal,” …. “we find that postseason officiating disproportionately favors the Mahomes-era Kansas City Chiefs”
