  1. Past hour
  2. This is why gravy was invented.
  3. I think the bigger thing that goes unsaid is that everything in the NFL is stacked against teams to make it very hard to sustain the level of success the Bills, Chiefs, etc have had over this long of a period of time. From the Cap, to lower draft picks, to harder schedules, etc. The fact they both have been this good for this long flies in the face of what the NFL is trying to achieve.
  4. Moore seems to just play really small. Don’t love his game.
  5. I agree on the value point and I agree the OC decision will come a lot down to Josh (the last two already did). But if he is banging the table for Daboll as OC I am not sure that is sustainable if McDermott and Beane remain. I am not sure he is going to go to war for Dabes yet. I don't think it is off the table that Daboll is the next Bills Head Coach though.
  6. i don't watch cnn, but cnn, msnbc, fox...they're all infotainment to me. there's some news in there, but with an obvious bias. if someone is screaming at you, it's not news.
  7. Depending how it’s served it can be a very gamey/dry meat. Personally not my fave
  8. I'm with you fellow old timer 😓
  9. Maybe not released, but I wonder if Coleman is going back in the lineup and Moore has been told he will be inactive again?
  10. Yay, they won some games with no championships, yay! Some would argue the Bills have won because of Allen not because of McDermott and what we absolutely know is their playoff failures are 100% not due to #17, there is no debating that.
  11. Which is a damn shame! Belichek would have turned him into Wolfork by now.
  12. I can see Beane offering a 6th for Cooks and the Saints declining at that time
  13. I think the problem with AI isn't technology. It's the absence of any open and rational discussion of the social and economic benefits and consequences and how those are distributed across society. Right now it's a race to deploy and then deal with the consequences later. Because if the investment world and its proponents think 10's of millions of workers are going to sit back and watch their jobs disappear and their life prospects evaporate while fat cat corporations, finaciers & banks, and moguls get richer while the huge majority of people suffer, AI proponents are high on some good drugs. And don't throw some idea out there like poverty level universal income. Because tha won't fly. The problem is the benefits are concentrated with the few and the costs are borne by the many. If these clowns think we have affordability and income inequality now just wait. I'll even say it's not that the technology is going to eliminate workers. It the revolutionary scale, speed, and impact of those job losses which make it impossible to have enough time for workers and businesses to adapt to new jobs and skills.
  14. I think the early soft schedule made a lot of fans think we were better than we were and the high prevalence of injuries is now making us think we are worse than we are. My concern, is if you look at recent teams that make the SuperBowl, injury luck seems to be a part of the equation. McDermott can't acknowledge this because he has to deal with the reality and move forward (and we've seen this in his replies to reporters), but at some point the "next man up mantra" falls apart. We are seeing this live this season. I think we'll be better in the next six weeks, just not sure that the design of this team has the margin for error of the volume of injuries we are suffering. I expect a 2nd round playoff loss (but hope I'm wrong).
  15. I don't see it as over entitled. I see it as legitimate frustration. Of all years for the Bills to have a step back in talent...it happens in a year where the Chiefs struggle, the Ravens had issues and the Patriots surge. There would be a legitimate chance Buffalo would have the #1 seed locked down in a few weeks in a typical Bills season I think the frustration is stemmed in the fact that some of the issues that have plagued the Bills this year should have been easy for a GM to see to see coming. The lack of talent at WR. The lack of depth at key positions. These were all addressed right here by many and shrugged off. The injuries that have been mounting since day 1 of TC. And while you can't predict injuries, it does take a toll on the team and the mentality of the fan base. The regression to the means of several things. Sacks up, takeaways down, giveaways up. All things that were amazing last year yet many know are unsustainable. All things that I believe Beane just expected to continue. Finally, it's the lack of improvement over the course of the season in key things. Run defense. Play calling. Presnap penalties. Lack of consistency week to week. It's just been an all around frustrating year watching this team.
  16. it's someone's opinion, so it's not a matter of right or wrong really. i just don't understand how someone who claims no one is getting the "real" news reports this as actual news. it's not.
  17. This actually makes a little sense. Beane probably checked in on Shaheed, and it’s natural for a “hey, what about ..,” moment re Cooks in those talks.
  18. Hes on his third team in four years. Its not always because a player is poorly used. Sometimes the players just isn't good enough. Cook is going to the Rams so it doesnt matter anyways.
  19. I am waiting for them to bring in Kaiir Elam for a tryout... just sayin lol
  20. There's not much "IF" in this. Doubtful the Bills are going to win the division or fall all the way to 3rd. So the only games that could change yet are could the Pitt game at home instead become Bengals and road games against Jax could change to Houston and Seattle could become San Fran or a low chance of LA. Not likely any of those changes will dramatically change things. As someone else posted, the sche3duled is pretty much pre-determined with the exception of 3 games out of 17, soon to be 18. Now that would be a good question, when they go to 18, how will that 18th game be determined? My guess is another game against opposite conference with team that finished in same position in standings. In the case of the Bills 2026 schedule would be a home game likely against either Dallas or Atlanta/Carolina?? Other thoughts??
  21. Bring him in....small chance him and Allen have instant chemistry and Josh gets a player he can trust to be open? It would be interesting to see where he'd be slotted in this group? does he immediately become WR 2-3 ? He's certainly far more accomplished than anyone else. 60 TDs, 6 1k seasons
  22. and an easy schedule The problem is that short term coaches burn hot and wear out their welcome while long term coaches go through peaks and valleys. I see the Chiefs in a similar position as the Bills- kind of stale at the moment.
