I don't hate Bass and he's had some clutch moments but it was nice to have a kicker out there and to not have heart palpitations

4-minute offense?

This was the one negative from yesterday. I shouldn't be embarrassed about what a random fan does, but I was. I just don't know how any fan of the game could behave that way.

I miss watching bass trying to kick the ball out of the stadium on 30 yard field goals.

I’ll own it. After the last Ravens TD, I posted take the L, get out of the game healthy and focus on week 2! What an unBILLIEVEABLE last five minutes! That game was like a Rocky movie, where the Bills kept taking haymakers and still got back up! The resiliency, grit and belief they showed will go along way this season. Certainly, have some things they have to shore up but 1 and O feels good. Ravens have to feel like crap! Played an amazing game with multiple highlight reels, stacked roster with really no glaring weaknesses and yet, left Buffalo with a LOSS! LETS GO BUFFALO! Enjoy the win and now let’s TCB against the Jets!

Considering one of his biggest knocks from his detractors was his poor clock management, and the fact that he mastered clock management in this game, I'm not sure how you can say coach should get none.

Apparently there needs to be a sign that reads... "keep your hands off visiting players for your own safety, otherwise you may get punched in the face". The dude totally deserved getting pushed back and/or punched. Hopefully he's banned for life. I understand why everyone is saying Lamar shouldn't have responded the way he did, but if someone smacks me in the head, a line has completely been crossed.

And what? You going to argue they were good? Yes I know they played some man with three lb's on the field. We have a strong safety at MLB. Sean. Macdermots. Defense. Sucks. I think he is a good head coach overall in everything else. But I think he needs to bring in a different set of eyes to run the D. The players on the roster are built to run his D. So he can switch it up a little during a game, they are not built for that. Too small, don't play great in man coverage. It's only 1 game so we can hope the young dt's they brought in help eventually. Anybody hear Bernards name called last night?

I love what I saw last night. It matches the offseason buzz. Let's keep it going and see if he can string a few good games together. I'm hopeful that he can/will.

Oliver made nice plays when needed, Josh he’s Superman, Coleman was clutch, didn’t like McD chasing pts and taking pts off the scoreboard (metrics be damned) & missing the blown spot. Last night was Billsy to Ballsy, sure we also got lucky but we also found a way to win. That’s what’s important.

I said carries, but still I get it. I don't hold a fumble on a pass catch against a running back like I do on a run. A RB runs with the ball. They're not expected to be as graceful at catching than running with the ball. F'n ty Johnson. I told a friend a great parlay to make. He put $5 on it and had all the legs but that one. Henry, Johnson, Jackson, Allen, Coleman: TD's, Allen +25 yards, Jackson +30 yards: rushing, Knox 25+ catching. Would have made like $800.

He gets some of the credit yes. He was part of the team that drafted him. He brought Joe Brady in as the OC. Hes the head coach, he gets some of the credit when the team wins.

Let's face it, if Prater keeps making the gimmes and XP's they will find a reason to keep Bass IR'd or whatever. Teams don't mess with kickers if they are going well. But Prater will have some adversity at some point. For now his XP's and kicks look down the middle and not tailing off to the right like Bass sometimes does.

Yep. That's what it look like to me. They decided we can't lose unless we give up a quick one over the top. And once you get into that mindset it is hard to swap out of it.
