  1. Past hour
  2. AJ has not lived up to 2nd Round status, but he's a productive and valuable part of the rotation. Not close to a "wasted" pick. Singletary was and still is a solid starter. Plus, he and Moss played behind a feeble run blocking line. Moss just didn't hit his full potential, but he certainly had third-round talent. Again, neither of these picks was wasted. Rasuel Douglas was certainly a productive member of the defense and worth the third-round cost, at least for a few seasons. Not wasted. Very few people thought Cooper was a wasted third-round opportunity. Although it wasn't as much as we hoped, he helped the offense become one of the best. Also - by your standards, name another team that doesn't have multiple "wasted" picks
  3. Buffalo Joe or Larry Ogunjobi
  4. Ulufoshio cut
  5. I’m confused…..we resigned Epenesa. Douglas gave us a good season and Singletary was our primary RB for 4 seasons…..how were those wasted picks?
  6. Love the dude, but I have Bills shirts less washed than he is.
  7. Are we trying to win games or save money? The Bills have no else like Daquan Jones.
  8. To having a contending team every single year.
  9. or we could have drafted Josh Myers (drafted 1 pick before Creed) who was 46th ranked Center last season according to PFF or even WR Amari Rodgers (drafted 4 picks before Nico) who was playing in the UFL. It's for to play what if but sometimes the what if isn't always better.
  10. I'm sure this will be the last we'll ever see of Dane Jackson
  11. I read somewhere last night that releasing Jones would free up 5.5-6 million in cap space.
  12. D Jones- nice cap savings
  13. Thankfully we signed Cook long term. Otherwise we likely would have drafted another running back in the top 4 round with a sub 5 RAS this upcoming year
  14. With a guaranteed $3M if you are rostered week 1. Why wouldn't you suck it up and sign.
  15. dont feed the trolls
  16. Dane Jackson
  17. Epenesa is still on the roster and averages like 6 sacks a year in a rotation. I don't consider that a waste. He has the same amount of sacks as the 2nd overall pick from that draft. Singletary averaged 4.7 YPC and had 16 TDs. Just because they didn't extend him doesn't make it a wasted pick. He was a good player for us. Moss also has more yards rushing than - Dobbins, Akers, Josh Kelley, and Edwards-Helaire from the same draft class FWIW.
  18. Oh I know what you meant. I grew up in SoCal as well. Raiders are in Vegas now. They haven’t been in LA since the 80s. Hence my 80s comment. Cheers!
  19. Looks like you need to change your user name
  20. I thought Wilkins was out of the league now?!?!?
  21. 0.0% chance we cut any of those last three guys today. Mark my words.
  22. Allen's nuts and the Dolphin's faces
  23. AJ Epenesa has only 21.5 sacks in 5 seasons which averages out to be only 4.3 sacks per season which means he's just another guy and not worth a premium 2nd round pick (54th overall). Just because Epenesa got an extension doesn't make Epenesa a good draft pick, bad stats don't lie. As far as Singletary goes, 3rd round picks should be starters not backups. Singletary is a backup.
  24. Agree with other people on: Epenesa - not a wasted pick, he got a 2nd contract and is a productive player. Singletary - was a good player for Bills and continues to play in the league. The Douglas trade was a 3rd for Douglas and a 5th. Don't remember who they got with the 5th. Douglas was good, he was a player rental for '23 and that worked out well. His play fell off last year but that was a "trade for now". Cooper - Everyone loved it at the time, maybe it didn't work out as planned but also a trade for now and they did get to the AFC Championship game. Basham didn't pan out, Moss either but in 7 drafts if you have 14 picks in the 2nd and 3rd rounds (they may have had more) there's only 2 that didn't really work out (and Moss has played 4 years in the league) that's a very good track record. And there have been some really good ones: James Cook, Spencer Brown, Terrell Bernard, O'Cyrus Torrence, Dawson Knox, and the McDermott year it was Dion Dawkins. All core players.
