  1. Past hour
  2. 53? That would be a surprise, although McDermott loves his special teams players, and Ciarlo has made a case. He's a lock for the practice squad. He also had a couple more big tackles against the Bears on special teams. For a player who was added late to the team, he's made the most of it.
  3. Nate Dogg would have been 56 today.
  4. Same initials and everything 😂
  5. Oh no , it's Gabe Davis, quick hide
  6. No one digs in the dumpster like Beane
  7. I heard that they will probably start Flacco for the first few weeks due to the gauntlet of a schedule they have. So my guess is Gabriel and Pickett will back him up. Sanders waived, and picked up for someone practice squad.
  8. Certainly, his numbers benefitted from Josh Allen's arm, and talent, and absolutely from the relationship, and chemistry they had developed in the first few years he was in Buffalo. But regardless, Diggs was elite, inarguably. Route running, separation, hands, footwork, YAC, extending plays, a legendary clutch mindset-- he had it all. But the bigger question is: would you let him date your sister?
  9. I’m judging Moore on 4 years of being mediocre
  10. But Allen got even better and Diggs not so much . Sure Diggs did help elevate Josh to another level but I'd say Josh helped Diggs a bit more than the other way around because Josh had his best year after he was gone . I just wonder deep down inside if Diggs wishes he was still here and playing with this team or if it is just about the money for him ??
  11. Not against Davis coming back, but... Are we really going to judge Moore's performance thus far from working with Trubisky and White?
  12. Serious question... can he play safety?
  13. Gotta pay attention to which LBs the Rams cut, they’ve got promising depth. Baldinger on Shaun Dolac
  14. Everyone always talked about him being a great teammate. I think the problem for most fans who have responded in this thread is that they envision Gabe as a poor #2 WR -- which he was -- and not the player you're suggesting he could be here. He'd be one of the best WR4's in the league. If he is willing to accept that role and the $$ is right...why not?
  15. Can he play safety?
  16. I heard he dropped the plane tickets. I kid. Great locker room guy. But on the field, I'd rather see Shavers elevated.
  17. Eduardo Corrocio
  18. Diggs was - for a 3 year stretch - a top 5 WR in football. Jefferson and Chase are all world - they are this generation's Moss/TO WRs Diggs is closer to a Torry Holt. A guy who could be a #1 WR on a title winning team, who was pro bowl caliber for a number of years, and was a first team all pro once (both Diggs and Holt made one AP first and one AP second). That's DAMN good. I'd consider it Elite, he just didnt have Elite longevity.
  19. Well... Hummmm. Say goodbye Samuel and or Moore. No he won't. His mindset is I paid the QB so he is to elevate average WR's to greatness. Well, We are on a Mission from God... Dont let Beane hear you say that, He gets all pissy about not properly addressing WR
  20. Problem is he'd pry immediately get moved up to WR2 if there's an injury to Palmer or Coleman. In that case with Allen it would be like locking a recovering alcoholic in a brewery.
  21. weak pass rush + bad secondary?? 🫠
  22. Agreed, He helped Allen and Allen helped him. Then he went psycho and it all came burning down.
  23. I suppose that in the beginning, it was pretty clearly their 1s versus our 2s & 3s. But after that, there was a hodgepodge of 2s and 3s out there on both sides. So maybe they had more 2s and we had more 3s but if you looked at individual matchups, you'd see in some cases a Bills 2 versus a Bear 2 or a Bills 3 versus a Bear 3. And we weren't winning even those matchups. Maybe that was McD's point. For example, Buffalo Joe looked like AJ Kline. If I were the Bears QB, I'd throw to whoever he was covering because he couldn't cover anyone 1, 2, or 3.
  24. This one has real "bump" potential as the season progresses.
