His dead cap hit would be 40 ish million, but it's not undoable. Browns have a long rebuild coming and could use the extra picks. I would assume it would take something crazy like 3 first round picks or 2 firsts and a player.
-
Olave is one hit away from a nice lady feeding him porridge the rest of his life.
-
1.5 mil yearly base on a 1 year deal then he’s a free agent in regards to your first point so that one is not an issue. He’s actually super cheap for a one year rental. Other two are fair enough points though I can see that.
-
He put up a stat line of 71 catches for 807 yards (11.4 ypc) and 8 tds in 2023 with Garoppolo, Aidan O'Connell, and Brian Hoyer throwing him the ball. He's isn't a top tier wr but he is very good and would have made our wr room better.
-
When a team is down on a player (not sure if debatable), and then he gets hurt, they certainly don't love him anymore. They would probably welcome a new, healthy fresh body and some draft picks. Seems like a failing marriage between BTJ and the new regime.

People said that about Samuel.

Hard to say. I think if Davis or Ty got injured, Gore gets elevated, so I think they believe he can play. I'd honestly be happy with Harrison Phillips on the D-line. Solid run stuffer who can hold his own. I'm still hoping for a boundary WR like Shaheed who can also return kicks. Codrington is still in a roster spot and is a healthy scratch. I'm not thrilled with Davis/Johnson and Shakir returning kicks.

Become (or admit that you already are) a chiefs fan

I don’t think that’s a fair assessment at all since he’s only been in the league for a year and a half and athletically is far superior to both those guys. If I had to rank them, I would put waddle number one just because he’s a proven commodity without the concussion history and brings the element that we need to our offense with the least amount of risk, but BTJ’s upside is insane and last year he was just scratching the surface even with the down year this year
-
The reason not to do it is it makes it more costly to get out of Taron's contract before it expires. So when teams do these restructures it's for a specific reason that they need the cap space for.

I think its time - Call Christian Wilkins!

Also put his locker right next to Allen. -
He's not a Hall of Famer, but he is a good receiver.

No Too expensive Similar to Shakir Too fragile

I think BTJ is more available than is being let on Teams that don't have a first round pick love to try and recoup if possible, and they have Hunter and now Meyers Bills should be aggressive on both Olave and BTJ

Bills 4th Round Pick : Deone Walker - DT - Kentucky
Goin Breakdown replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
I know we are talking about Walker here, but Phillips is a nice addition filling in right now. We always go back to the well with him and I'm not hating it right now. -
I don’t get why anyone thinks Meyers is good. This is like some bizarro media creation.
-
WR was absolutely a need for the Jaguars; their WRs have been arguably the worst in the league this season.
-
DE - At DE you have Groot, Bosa, AJE, Solomon and Jackson, I don't see them doing anything different there unless it's competition for Solomon and Jackson. DT - I don't even know what we have at this point ... Walker, Ogunjobe, Phillips ... Jones will come back and get hurt again, Ed maybe for the playoffs, maybe ... Sanders will be back eventually. We have Mathis, Logue and some new guy on the PS.

I don’t think Garrett can be moved after signing his new deal
-
Be shocked if Yanks offer him anything substantial, thinking he’ll probably get the most per year of all the FA.
-
Could they do it cap wise with Garrett’s new deal?
-
the Broncos or Seahawks "holy crap trade" could be Myles Garrett

I don’t think it’s nuts at all to think that he might not want a dude that may actually have serious mental issues on the team to create a disruptive environment, but this is all just subjective. Obviously something is up since no one has signed him yet. -
Olave and Waddle are definitely better than BTJ imo.
