  1. Past hour
  2. As today showed the Pats have a loss or two coming against teams they "should" beat ahead of them.
  3. I cannot believe Mahomes didn't bruise the back of his brain. Then he got up and immediately dropped one in a shoebox for 25 down the sideline. I hope the time he's about to spend in and out of a cold-assed tub starts making that body skittish on weekends.
  4. I didn’t say it was “good” that we lost. Far from it, but it did re-focus McD and the team to going back to what they do best; McD coaching the D, running Cook, using the TE and a 4th thing I forgot, Josh not playing hero ball.
  5. And this is why you can't anoint NFL players after one season or even two If it was Odell Beckham would be a Hall of Fame player after 2 years People don't understand the growth and the ebbs and flows is immense.. Josh Allen is still not a finished product Jaden Daniels is far from a sure thing and this injury is putting him closer to RG3 trajectory.. I don't know if he could come back anytime soon from that
  6. I think the most important outcome was #3. Since McDermott took over the play calling….I mean “collaborated more” with Babich the defense has looked better. I’m hoping it was all about Hoecht who was a menace and is now hurt. I don’t think it was entirely him though. And if Buffalo ends up trading for a WR that also might come out of this game as well. If you believe the team part of the reason he wasn’t playing well was because he was injured
  7. Seattle sees that and throws Drew Lock in the game. Smort.
  8. Reggie Gilliam - Lets give this guy some love for the game he had. He was leading Cook through the line all day and was making plays on Special Teams as well.
  9. Bills are in good division shape assuming they win the pats rematch… lot of pressure on that game though. the win over the chiefs was huge since the pats are still behind by a conference loss and have the ravens on the schedule. the bills real tough afc matchups are pretty much done but there’s some sneaky ones
  10. Patty hasn’t had to make a business decision in a while. I think that might be about to change. Josh got hit way harder against the Lions last year if I recall, without a flag…and he completed the pass.
  11. He shoulda been handing off or throwing in garbage time. ugh.
  12. I didn't notice this til seeing this replay but I love the fact that Hancock's unconscious instinct is to push Bosa into Mahomes so he gets a piece too.
  13. Why TF was Daniels still in the game? Inexcusable
  14. Daniels elbow just popped horrifically out of place. And NBC showed it in super slow mo. Brutal.
  15. It looked like he was looking for a screen or trick play. Why aren’t they blocking me ?
  16. I see what you did there. Yep. My AI friend confirms. As do JJ Watt, Shawne Merriman, and lots of other real life examples. Yes, athletes using performance-enhancing drugs, particularly anabolic-androgenic steroids (AAS), are significantly more likely to suffer Achilles tendon injuries and ruptures. Anabolic steroids contribute to this increased risk through several mechanisms: Biomechanical Mismatch: Anabolic steroids induce rapid muscle hypertrophy and increased strength, but the tendons and ligaments do not adapt or strengthen at the same rate. This creates a dangerous mismatch where the powerful muscles place supraphysiological loads on relatively weaker, less resilient tendons, predisposing them to injury or rupture. Weakened Tendon Structure: AAS use disrupts the normal synthesis and cross-linking of collagen, the primary structural component of tendons. Studies in animals have shown that steroids can lead to collagen fiber dysplasia (abnormal formation) and decreased tensile strength and elasticity. Impaired Repair: AAS can inhibit the activity of matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs), enzymes crucial for the normal remodeling and repair of tendon tissue. This impaired healing capacity can lead to pre-existing degenerative changes in the tendon that make it more susceptible to acute rupture during intense physical activity.
  17. I can’t believe they showed it. Horrible injury
  18. Daniel’s is RG3 all over again
  19. That's not what I'm saying. What I'm saying is that we had so many DE's that we couldn't even dress him. We weren't "relying" on Hoecht at Edge either. We lost one of 4 that were performing at a high level. Obviously, I'd rather have him. But Bosa (especially how he's been consistently performing), Groot (who has taken a step in the past couple games), and Epenesa (who is performing extremely well off the bench) is already a better situation at Edge than a lot of teams in the league. With Hoecht, it was an embarrassment of riches. We've just gone from that to "just" being in pretty solid shape. Of course i'd prefer Hoecht as well. But this idea that we're in trouble at Edge bc we lost Hoecht isn't accurate. We're in trouble at Defensive Tackle, where Hoecht was filling in for Oliver on passing downs. We're in trouble at WR, where we still have no one who can get open with any sort of consistency (thank God for Kincaid). But Edge is fine, even with Hoecht's injury. We only had him for 1 1/2 games. Edge was never the problem without him in the lineup. If we lose Bosa or Groot, then it might become a problem. But we're fine there. We aren't at DT, WR, or Safety (opposite Bishop).
  20. Cook might have a tender ankle or sprain even. He got rolled early in the game.
  21. The worst ball he threw all night might have been the TD to Kincaid
  22. Auuuughhhh Daniels just Skatteboed his arm
  23. I mean I'm pretty sure the bills got called for that last year at a spot You still can't land full body weight Even in that aj hit on the sidelines you can see that aj was coached very well.. and is getting his body weight off of Patrick before the full slam You could easily stay helmet to chest and end his night if aj wanted to be more violent That's as well coached inside the hitting zone as you will see
  24. Not sure where I heard it or read it, but I think there was some discussion with officials about Mahomes looking for roughing penalties along the sideline. It did need to stop. I think AJ may have accomplished that.
  25. I am very proud of this answer.
